"Sure. I guess we could--- Whoa--!" Makoto exclaimed as she noticed the wolf was shrinking to the point Makoto had to stand on her feet again. The wolf was now the size of a very small dog. It hopped onto her shoulder and onto her head. Makoto shrugged as she guessed there were too many surprises to even get surprised anymore. "I guess he really wants to come with us. This really is a magical wolf."
Elaena blinked "Oh! Right!" She said before exiting through the door that had been opened, looking back at him after she passed through "Well, maybe next time we hang out and it ends up being late, yes?" she said with a smile "If we do hang out again that is. If we do, let's please not leave it as long as last time." She added after, waiting for Ansom to step out of the apartment too.
Ansom walked out and closed the door behind him. He put the key into the door and locked it before nodding and heading down the stairs. "Sure thing. I'm pretty open schedule wise so..." He shrugged and looked over his shoulder at Elaena before he faced forward again and kept walking. "I'll be sure to visit your workplace though." Ansom smiled as he walked across the parking lot to his car, unlocking it with the digital key. He opened the passenger door for Elaena and waited for her to enter.
As she was about to start walking again, Akane was stopped by the sudden shrinking of the wolf. "Okay, this guy is persistent... Very persistent. Well, if he truly wants to go with us, make sure he behaves while we're out then. That's all I can truly tell you." She said, chuckling a little bit as she watched the now little wolf. Akane then placed a hand on Makoto's shoulder, using her powers to take them from the garden of her home to the heart of the city. "There's a pet store here. When we get in there, grab whatever you'll need. I'll pay."
Elaena nodded as she followed along, slightly behind him, her eyes meeting his when he looked over his shoulder at her "Good, I'll make sure you get some free cake" she said with a smile "but yeah, outside of work my schedule is pretty free too" she admitted before hopping into the car, thanking Ansom as she did so.
Ansom closed the door gently and jogged lightly to the other side. He opened his own door and stepped inside, putting his hand on the wheel and closing the door with his other. He started the car and pulled out of the lot. Once he was on the road, he turned on the radio to play some slower and lowkey music. "Where exactly am I heading again?"
She had been staring out the window as he asked his question, she looked back at him, blinking once before answering "Oh right." She laughed "I should have mentioned that right away, sorry, I guess my brain was distracted" she said rubbing the side of her face with her hand in a sort of sleepy manner. "Uhm. Leaving me back at the school is fine. I'm staying in the girls dormitories at the moment. Thank you"
Ansom nodded and drove the rest of the way in silence. It turned out he was also a bit tired, discovered after sitting down. After a few minutes of driving, he pulled down the lane to the school and, eventually, into the student lot near the girl's dorms. He pulled into a spot and stopped the car. "Home sweet home."
"I think all I need is just food and a dog-bowl. I never really owned a pet before." She said before she began walking towards the pet store. The wolf just kept on her head, still keeping on before Makoto stopped and turned to Akane and asked. "Have you ever adopted a pet before?" She asked, curious if Akane had ever owned one. If she's lived for so long, she must have a pet somewhere, right?
"Then that's what we'll get. If you want, I can make a magic collar for the big guy. It'd grow in size when he does, and I think it'd be a cute little accessory." Akane said, smiling a little as she walked towards the pet store besides Makoto. When she was asked if she ever adopted a pet, she placed a finger on her chin in thought. "Never. At least as an adult. The closest thing I have to one is Haineko, but she's more of an embodiment of my main weapon. The spirit of the bond between it and I. She's usually in my room being the lazy bum she is, and drinking all my liquor but I guess she had somewhere else to be for the day." She said. It was obvious at this point that Akane and Haineko were pretty similar as Akane herself would probably do doing exactly what she just described Haineko doing. "She may be there when we get back. Who knows? She does as she pleases unless I say otherwise."
Elaena had also remained pretty much silent on the way back, only yawning occasionally. It wasn't an awkward kind silence however, just a silence. Spacing out a little bit, her mind was brought back to reality (quite literally) when Ansom had spoke again. She blinked to clear her slightly clouded eyes and looked over at him "Yep" she responded when he stopped the car, she smiled over at him, clicking her seatbelt off "Thank you~" moving to open the door of the car.
Levi had remained sitting on the floor as he waited for Seiko to come around but had dozed off himself in the process. Waking up to the sound Seiko bumping into furniture and mumbling, his blue eyes creaked open slowly. "Seiko?" He mumbled quietly before his eye opened fully "Seiko!" He repeated louder as he got up on his feet and made his way over to her "Careful! You hit your head." He said, placing his hands on each of her shoulders. "I'll get your staff, just...sit down, alright?" He said in a softer tone as he guided her towards the sofa to sit her down, letting go of her shoulders after and making his way near the door, where the staff was still laying on the floor. "Your staff is here, look" he carried it over and leaned it against the couch, sighing lightly after.
By the time Elaena had taken off her seatbelt and went for the door, it had already been opened by Ansom. He stood on the outside of the car with a small wink. "I almost forgot. Seems I'm a bit more tired than I initially thought." He chuckled and shut the door when she exited the vehicle. "I'll see you around, Elaena." He spoke as he began to walk back around to the other side of the car.
Chuckling Daniel looked back to Ariel and nodded. "Race you there?" He asked her before launching off the ground and into the air
"You could have just asked me sissy." Hina said as she got up and immediately grabbed Ayame in her arms
Thana smiled and got up with him. Sliding behind him she slid her legs on either side of him and sat back on her feet and wrapped her arms around him from behind. Smirking as he spoke she nodded. "No I don't." Thana said with a playful smirk as she nuzzled into his back lovingly.
Mitsu stood in front of Ansom's apartment her arms crossed in front of her and a scowl on her face as she waited for her father. He was supposed to pick her up today so they could spend some time together but apparently had totally forgotten about her which was enraging to say the least. Hearing Ansom coming up the stairs Mitsu scoffed a little. "About time he showed up." She growled quietly as she turned to face the direction he was coming from and waited for him to walk into veiw
Ansom trodded up the stairs slowly and sluggishly. He yawned as he stepped on the landing of his floor, staring down at the ground. He walked towards his door at the end of the landing but stopped when a pair of feet came into his view. He frowned a bit and slowly lifted his head, his gaze traveling up the body in front of him. When he saw the face, he took a step back and had a surprised expression. "Mitsu!?" He exclaimed before he looked down at his watch. "What are you doing standing outside my door in the middle of the night. Someone could've called the cops." He paused and was silent for a moment. He then slowly smiled. "That'd probably be pretty cool..."
Scowling more Mitsu brought her hands to her hips and glared up at her father. "Forget to oh I don't know do something you where supposed to?" Mitsu asked with a glare. Was he really gonna play dumb like this? He'd already forgotten to pick up his own daughter yesterday
Ansom tilted his head. "Supposed to do? I'm the Supreme Deity of Destruction. There is nothing I'm suppo-" He suddenly stopped and his eyes widened. He had meant to pick her up earlier and spend the day with her. He sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Right...Mitsu..." He began and shook his head. "I'm really sorry. I meant to get you but then your aunt came by and asked me to move stuff for her. Then I met up with a friend and we spent the day together..."
Growling a little Mitsu held out a hand at him to stop him. "Don't! even try to make excuses. Lets just go inside." Mitsu said clearly angered by his attempted excuse as to why he forgot about her his own daughter. Crossing her arms over her chest she stepped aside so he could go unlock the door for them. Mitsu frowned a little as she thought of how he must "care" about her so much.
Ansom sighed and dropped his hands in defeat. "You could've sent a text instead of showing up at my door." He said as he unlocked the door with his key and pushing it open. He motioned inside, allowing Mitsu to go in first. "Come on then..."
"Maybe I wanted to see how much you actually cared for me." Mitsu said coldly as she walked inside. Immediately going to his couch she sat down and sighed the frown only growing on her face more as she pulled out her phone and looked at some texts before she gently tossed her phone onto the table and kicked her shoes off. The more she thought about th hole situation the more Mitsu started to feel down. Was it cause Ansom and her mother never intended to have her? Did he not care about her?
Ansom followed Mitsu in and gave another sigh. "Mitsu, I do care about you. A lot. You're my daughter." He said as he wiped some chip crumbs off the table and onto the floor. He then sat down next to her on the couch. "You gotta cut me some slack. We've both been busy with things lately. Conflicting schedules." He nodded along with his words and then gave a small smile. "But you're here now. We don't get to see each other often. We shouldn't spend it arguing and being glum."
