Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

-------Diana Young-------

Diana smiled lightly at him with his name, "Nice to meet you Elliot, I'm Dian-" She was cut off when her arm clicked into her socket as the blush and smile disappeared and she hissed out in pain as her other arm shot to the other as quick as lightning holding onto it, "Never... Going to get used... to that..." She hissed out before she began testing her arm out by moving it around, "As I was saying," She said slightly pissed at how much it hurt her, "My names Diana Young, pleasure to meet you," She said giving a smile towards him. The jumper had since fallen off her onto the bed and it was only bandages covering her chest.
Elliot immediately reeled back when she had hissed in pain "S-Sorry!" he said quietly. "It's uh. A pleasure meeting you too. Shame it's because you were... You know... Stabbed" he added with a sheepish smile. Noticing the jumper had fallen his smile had faded, he didn't comment, he instead cleared his throat, he then leaned over and lifted the jumper, silently handing it back to her whilst averting his gaze from her. "What exactly happened with those boys? Why did the try to fight you in the first place...you know, if you don't mind me asking" he added after, looking back at her.

Diana immediately blushed before she slowly took the jumped with her robotic arm and pulled it over herself, covering her upper torso. She moved herself back onto the bed and began taking wires out of her arm and body before they were all removed quite quickly, "It's... Fine... They attacked me for no reason other than to kill me, I'm meant to be someones property after all and they don't seem to like when their toys are taken, I don't doubt the guys killed the kids already... Nothing I can do about it though..." She said in a low tone as she lowered her head, she brought her legs closer as clicking metal could be hear from them.

"They were told to kill me, any means necessary. so I disarmed the first one with a knife, but lucky him he found a piece of metal rusted pipe, took it out and stabbed me right in my chest. I'm surprised they didn't finish the job, but maybe I just broke so many of their bones that they just wanted to get away." She said as her tone got darker as well as her eyes as well, her hair had fallen over her shoulders covering her face.

Light tapping could be heard as she began letting some tears fall from her eyes onto her metal arm that began making clanging sounds from it, "Guess I'll always be a little killer... heh..." She said this in a hoarse voice as she just sat there holding in sobs.

Elliot just stared at her as she explained what the fight was all about, he brows furrowing. He didn't know what to say...or what to do. Especially when she started to cry. Great. He had only been talking to her for a matter of minutes and already he had asked her something that made her cry. His mouth opened like he was about to say something a few times but just ended up closing each time "Ah! D-Don't cry!...I'm sorry I asked. I didn't meant to make you cry I-" he sighed looking around "I mean you were just defending yourself...uh..." He rubbed his face with his hands and sighed in defeat. Gosh he wished his sister was here to help him out with this, she always dealt with comforting friends with her hugs and calm demeanor and quite successfully too, he was just a disaster, barely able to keep himself in check a lot of the time "S-Sorry" he muttered quietly.

Diana wiped her tears away with her real hand before she looked back up at him, giving him a soft smile before she moved a bit closer to him, "Hey, I'm not sad about the fight, just feeling sorry for myself is all, it's ok don't have to worry about it..." She said trailing off as she let out a shaky breathe while trying to maintain her calm demeanour.

As dark clouds begin to swirl outside a light tapping on the window shook Diana out of her trance from staring at Elliot, the rain becoming hard, "Great... and my room is across that mess of a storm..." She said lowly as she swung her legs over the bed again, a clacking of metal being heard as they hit the metal frame of the bed, "Hey... uhm, you wouldn't happen to be staying here for a while longer will you?" She said trying to give a smile to him. Her metal arm giving off a brighter shine than before from the tears still on it.

He had looked back to her when she explained that it wasn't about the fight, blinking a few times when she had moved closer to him. He was supposed to be cheering her up and here she was telling him not to worry. He felt like slapping himself in the face, guilty that he had just freaked out instead of comforting the poor girl. She had seemed to calm down somewhat however, which he supposed was a good thing. He watched the rain pouring down outside as she mentioned it "Same." He said with a slight laugh, his eyes glancing to the jacket that was hung on the chair, it was still covered in blood so he guessed he wouldn't be able to use that to keep himself dry... His attention was brought back to Diana as she spoke, asking him if he was planning on leaving or not. "H-Huh?" He glanced over at her, looking at her smile and pausing for a moment before answering "I'm probably going to wait for that storm to pass before I leave..." He answered with a nod.

Diana gave a smile, "Good, I wouldn't want to be alone here... Even then I don't think I can go back to my room... Most likely would be rigged to explode or about 20 guys waiting with varying sizes of knives... Say, you wouldn't have any extra room where you stay would you?" She asked as she cocked her head slightly. She moved her feet to the floor her metallic feet making a clicking sound against it as she held onto the bed for support as she pushed herself up, standing on her legs as her free arm launched to her side where she was stabbed, "Fuck... that hurts..." She hisses out as tears of pain fall from her eyes onto the floor.

She slowly moves back onto the bed still grasping her side as she sits on the edge, "Well great... walking is a lot of fun..." She says under her breathe before she turns her head to the window, a glassy look taking over her features, locked in a trance of sorts.

Elliot frowned hearing that she couldn't go back to her own room because of those same people. But nodded when she had asked if he had room "I can make some room for you to stay if you feel you aren't safe in your own home. I wouldn't feel comfortable sending you off to your own funeral like that." She said as he ruffled the hair at the back of his head a little and sighed, staring out at the storm for a moment. As soon as she hissed and cussed out Elliot immediately returned to her side incase she needed help walking, but she seemed to have made it back to the bed just fine, though her expression now seemed withdrawn as she looked out the window, his gaze softened a little bit as he watched her "...I mean, as I said, you were hurt pretty bad... I don't think you'll be able to do that for another while..." He spoke honestly. "I don't mind helping you out until then...you know, help you walk and stuff" he offered, watching her face for a change in expression of some kind.

Diana snapped back to reality with a smile, "No, I don't think you would even be able to live with yourself if you sent me off to my own death." She said finishing with a small laugh at her own expense. She moved to face Elliot before she let out a short sigh before patting the empty spot next to her on the bed, "You look awkward just standing there, also looks pretty creepy, no offense," She said giving off another short laugh, "Oh, and just give me some time to heal, maybe 25-72 hours and I should be able to walk again, an extra 48 hours and I should be able to take another blade to the stomach, maybe even a gun shot..." She said contemplating the last bit before laughing at herself, "Not about to test that out though, no need to worry," She said smiling once again.

Right jab. Left jab. Those were the words that went though Utopia's head as he slammed his fist into the punching bag multiple times, working at a rhythmic motion and tempo that occasionally sped up as he punched. He was lost in his punches, allowing his fists to do all the thinking for him, his eyes starting absentmindedly at the bag as he felt the impact of the sturdy bag hit his knuckles. Most people wore gloves when working with a bag, but Utopia didn't even use tape. He didn't need it. The more he punched, the more his body began to glow a slight red, his physical aura taking into place. After several more moments, his strength had been augmented quite a bit, causing his next punch to send the bag flying against the wall and to explode in a shower of the insides. Utopia gave a sigh as he heard the owner of the gym running over to him. "That's the third one this week! And the week just barely started!" He shouted at him. Utopia hated when people shouted. His red aura died down and hung tightly against his body. "Sorry. I got a little carried away. It-" He was pushed out of the building before he could finish his sentence. He stumbled out the door and heard it slam behind him. Utopia growled and wiped himself off before shaking his head and looking at his watch. "Whatever. It's time for my run around the park anyway." He sighed as he began to jog to the campus park, taking in the gorgeous day as he did so.

Her gaze softened a little when he had admitted he was on the same boat with friend making, looking to the path ahead of her, she guessed she was glad hearing it, it brought her some sort of relief that she wasn't the only one the metaphorical boat. She too moved her gaze to the sky after Kansuke had mentioned rain, noting the clouds were threatening to pour down with their darkening colours. "Seems like it" she said as the drops started to fall "Or rather. It's happening we should probably fi-" she had been mid-sentence when Kansuke and spotted the tree and dragged her off towards it, he luckily didn't take off so quick as to trip her up or make her lose her footing, but it did surprise her a little.

Once under the shelter of the tree she shook her head in response to his words "No, no. It's quite alright" she assured him as she found a dry spot to sit near the tree's trunk, smiling and tilting her head when he had grinned. She took her seat and watched him with intrigue. She had seen guards practice their swordsmanship in the castle grounds regularly but normally from afar, like from her window, never actually up close like this. After a while of silence she spoke, resting her hands on her knees "You seem very skilled, where did you learn?" She asked, pausing for a moment "Sorry if I ruined your concentration..." She added after the pause, offering a sheepish smile.
Though Kansuke was training, he made sure to keep an eye out on his surroundings. It was raining and they were under a very obvious dry patch, so if he wasn’t careful then it might be easy for enemies to get the upper hand. And he made a promise to protect her and keep her safe, so he had to do his best to make sure that happened. So when Mizuki asked about where he learned, it wasn't easy for him to ease out of his focused mindset. "You're all good, no worries! I, uh..." Kansuke paused, taking a moment to think about his answer. How was he supposed to answer a question like that? It was a perfectly normal question to ask after all. But his answer wasn't so cut and dry. As far as he could remember, Kansuke just kind of knew how to fight. Somehow, events in his life had led him to his sword, the Master Sword, and from then on he knew that he was meant to wield it. As time passed, using the Master Sword became like second nature, as if he had known all his life how to use it and fight with it. What he didn't know was that this was the compounded ability from finding and wielding the Master Sword throughout all of his lives, each life gaining more and more experience with it. So in reality, Kansuke didn't really need to practice with it, but it made him feel better about his ability using it because he did. So he kept at it, only furthering his already advanced mastery of its use. "Teaching myself? I guess?" he answered, his voice carrying tones of apprehension. Realizing that his answer probably didn't sound very convincing, Kansuke sighed, relaxing his stance by lowering his sword. "In truth, I never really 'learned' how to use it. I just kind of suddenly knew how to use it when I found it. It's like I've always known how to use it. Which doesn't really make sense, how can someone just know how to use something when they've never seen it before in their life. I don't know... sorry if that wasn't a good answer." Kansuke chuckled slightly, his expression dropping slightly as his words finished. It was a strange thing, now that he really thought about it. There was a lot about his life that didn't really make sense, if he was honest with himself. Maybe that's why he was so gung-ho about helping out Mizuki with the problems of their homeland. Because the feeling he got about helping her was the first thing in a really long time that really made sense in his life.

Ayen

Ayen grasped Celaena's hand and beckoned her forward with himself. Normally one would have fallen stepping over the edge of a moat, but Ayen had, without a thought, pulled moister from the air. Enough to form a bridge of winter white ice from one side of the channel to the other. Indeed, it was from constant flaunting of his ability and vanity to those lesser, those weaker than himself over the years that such actions had become second nature to himself. However, that was not the intention this time. It was the fact that he had already walked so far to get home with the unconscious Kenji on his shoulder. His stubbornness dictated that flying at this point would be pointless, especially for something so small. Even so, Ayen had to both tease and test Celaena. "Are you sure? Wasn't there a time when a less eloquent girl would have jumped at the opportunity?" The words rolled smoothly off his tongue as Ayen shepherded them across the frozen crystalline bridge before it started to melt. Though as much as they were teasing, Ayen had to make sure he wasn't fooling himself with her, so he had to mention something that would have brought up often enough for others to hear. And remembering how Ayen and Celaena both didn't bring up she was a bumkin before, it seemed to be a good point. As Ayen walked towards the cabin as he liked to call it, even though it would be humble to call it a small manor, the sloshing of water could be heard from the lake. Even so, Ayen stopped at the door to speak in a regretful tone. "Normally, someone entering my home for the first time would get a tour, I hope you can forgive me, but this guy needs my attention more." He gave an apologetic smile as he let go of Celaena's hand to open the door and proceed to make a B-line to the closest guest room to set Kenji down. As Ayen did that, he spoke an activation word for one of the magics layered into his home that lit all the candles in the house along with the fireplace.
Celaena

It felt very... natural to take hold of Ayen's hand. Feeling him pull her along across the moat via an ice bridge brought back memories of when they were younger and their lives were easier. All the times when she and Ayen would run away from their problems. It made her long for those days, but at least she was able to be with him now, after everything. At the same, she was impressed at just how much Ayen's powers had progressed since the last time she had seen him. To just be able to take the moisture from the air so easily and create an ice bridge of such quality without any effort whatsoever, time had definitely done his abilities well. This probably was only a small bit of what he could do, though that wasn't important at the moment. "When I was younger, perhaps. I recall once refusing to accept your help when I was stuck in the tree vines above the Mara Spring. You might have told me that I was going to fall in the water, but I disagreed and declared that I was fine and would be able to make it out without getting wet. And in the end you did have to help me out as well as give some excuse to the other nobles as to why I was not at home where I should have been and why my clothes were wet. I have not lost that stubbornness quite, but my body is still not quite used to this world yet. Or being alive for that matter." Celaena's voice trailed off a bit at the end, fully aware of the weakened state that her body was in at the moment. She had been pushing herself ever since she arrived on Earth, from the arrival itself to her excursion to the least nature-y place she had ever been to. It was probably a good thing they were arriving at the house soon; any longer and her body might not be able to take the stress. But her own health wasn't the most important thing at the moment, rather it was the man slumped across Ayen's shoulder that required the most attention. Her eyes widened in awe as they noticed his "cabin", feeling a twinge of nostalgia and longing for home. Also the sheer size of it was impressive if anything. She shook her head as he apologized about not being able to give a tour. "It is quite alright, we need to make sure that he is taken care of." Celaena's hand fell to her side as Ayen let it go, a little sad to feel the coldness of the air replacing the warmth of his palm, but it was alright. Once inside, she followed Ayen toward the guest room, planning to take a rest and sit down once she was there.

He watched her pat the spot beside her to sit, his face flushing an embarrassed shade of pink when she explained her reasoning behind wanting him to sit. being creepy, good job Elliot... "O-Oh, right, sorry. Um, yeah, okay" he had stammered out before sighing and taking a seat beside her "I didn't mean to creep you out..." he muttered quietly, before awkwardly falling silent. He looked straight at Diana with raised brows once she mentioned a gun shot, even managing to make eye contact for once, his mouth slightly open like he was about to say something but she had already dispelled his worries with her words and a laugh. He rubbed the side of his face with his hand and laughed as well "Oh thank God. I almost believed you there" he said with a short sigh "You can stay with me until then if you think it's safer than home" he assured her before glancing to the window again. The rain seemed to be letting up just a little bit. "Though, shouldn't you have checked with the nurses before pulling all that stuff out?" He gestures to the wires "Are you sure you're okay to leave even with the quick healing?" He asked curiously.

Diana smiled lightly at him when he sat down next to her, before she began laughing at his sudden care for her, "And thanks, for letting me stay with you, well I mean, I haven't even seen your place yet, but so far I bet it's going to be neat and clean, for some reason," She said with a short chuckle before her face went serious with a sigh, "Well, here's the thing, I don't think those wires are going to help me, I mean, my hearts a machine, so I doubt they could do anything to help me out... And the fact they can do nothing just assists with me not wanting to keep them in, they're just annoying by this point... If you've had them in you enough that is..." She said as her eyes glazed over again, replaying another memory that she could get.

She unconsciously grabbed the pendant around her neck with her real arm and squeezed on it tightly, her knuckles turning white as she lowered her head slightly. She let out a sigh as her eyes returned to normal, the memory fading as she kept her hand wrapped around the pendant, "Bastards..." She said under her breathe before she turned and looked at Elliot, connecting his eyes.

...♅Akira, after flying from the area he was in previously with Kenji, landed on the school grounds, behind the main office building and over the wall, to the small cliff-edge that resided a short ways away, which featured a single tree and a view of the ocean and beach below. He took a seat at the edge of the cliff and remained silent, the gentle warm wind blowing his hair and rustling his clothes as he did so. Akira simply watched the sea, lost in the rhythmic percussion of the waves on sand. His eyes were steady to the horizon, face aglow with the last orange rays before twilight beckons the stars. His lips bear the semblance of a smile, just enough to show that he is enjoying his thoughts, whatever they may be. He spoke out to the old man who had begun approaching him from behind, the small, gentle footsteps soon coming to a halt a few feet away from him♅...

This truly is a beautiful world, isn't it?

Admiring our handiwork, my king?

Your handiwork. I only sprouted the first seeds of nature here. You built the rest - Humans, animals, an ecosystem. You really are talented in creation, God. Props where props are due.

It's been a while since we last talked, hasn't it, King Imperius?

You can just call me Imperius, we needn't follow official customs when we're alone. Come, have a seat. We've much to catch up on, haven't we?

...♅Akira motioned for God to sit beside him. God smiled and nodded, soon walking over and taking a seat beside Akira. They looked out to the horizon and began talking, catching up with one another and making up for lost time, not that the concept of time meant anything to these two immortals♅...

He let a small laugh and dropped his gaze when she mentioned his room "Well...Yeah. I guess." He said with raised brows for a moment before looking back to her, listening intently to her explanation about pulling out the wires, his eyebrows slowly furrowing as she continued to speak...If you had enough of them in. It sounded like she was talking from experience...he guessed taking in today's events and the fact that she had so many robotic enhancements that wasn't surprising news to him. He watched her becoming lost in her own thoughts again, his mouth opening to speak but instead he just watched her knuckles turn white with a concerned expression. It was then that she cussed again and turned to look at him, catching his gaze with her own, causing him to tense slightly. "...Is... everything okay?" He asked slowly, his eyes moving from hers to the hand that was catching her pendant. "Seemed like your mind left for a moment there" he added after.

Diana's hand tightened on her pendent even more than before, a small red line leaving her hand from her nails digging into her palm, "It's... It's OK... Just some back memories coming back is all...." The images flashed before her eyes, the multiple saw blades and needles and wires being put into her body, her arm being torn away then put back together over and over while she was awake, they never gave her any anesthesia during those operations.

She let out a cold breath that turned to steam in the hot room as she moved her legs away from the bed side and pulled herself back to lay on the bed, looking out the window as the storm began to pick up once again, the sounds of thunder cracking overhead once more.

Mizuki gave a relieved smile when he had said it was all good. She didn't want to ruin his concentration but it seemed that her curiosity had simply just gotten the better of her, watching him train like this seemed like a familiar sight to her and not just because she saw guards training at home a lot, it was a different kind of familiar. The strange kind that Kansuke had been triggering dully within her since their first meeting. She had since been finding herself subconsciously trying to understand it on and off.

Her head tilted curiously as he began to answer, stating that he taught himself despite the apprehension in his words. She remained silent, she felt there was more his answer than that and she was correct. She shook her head when he had given her his full answer, she seemed saying enough with it. "No, no. It was a good answer. I understand fully. As I said before, I am on the same boat with some of things at the moment. It's a strange feeling...but not uncomfortable. Just...odd." she said softly, slowly shielding her eyes with her eyelids for a brief moment and sighing quietly before opening them again. "Please, continue with your practices. I didn't mean to interrupt you, really" she said sheepishly "I'll just relax while the rain passes in the meantime." She added with a genuine smile, just in case he thought she would get bored while in all honesty watching him train interested her.

Elliot watched quietly as she moved her legs back up into the bed, moving forward a little to give her room. "Ah, right. I'm sorry to hear that..." He said frowning, he assumed they were bad ones, he knew anytime he had a happy memory he sure ad hell didn't react like that. "But you are here now and despite that mishap in sure everything will blow over once you are here...right?" He said glancing over at her for a moment before sighing and looking away letting a low nervous laugh "Sorry. I'm not so good at this...comforting thing." he admitted "If my sister was here she could literally put a good though in your head to help...but you're stuck with me" He said smiling meekly.

Diana removed her hand slowly from the pendent, it clicking open to reveal a family photo of a baby girl and two people who have scratch marks over their faces except for their smiles. A dark red line was leaving form where her nails had dug in, a metallic aroma filling the air from where the blood was seeping out.

Diana turned her gave back to her hand before it returned to Elliot, "I can be safely sure I prefer you over your sister, even if she somehow accessed my mind I doubt she'd make me happier, if anything my mind would reject the interference and disable my dopamine centers to relieve the extra stress," She said nonchalantly before she gave a dry chuckle at herself, "Sorry, speaking bullshit," leaning back into the pillows on the bed some more.

Diana turned her gaze back down to her palm as she watched the blood seep onto the bed some more, creating a small patch of deep red crimson around her hand.

"A-Are you?..." He started, thinking he saw blood on the girls hands. By she had already continued to speak like nothing was happening there Elliot blinked a few times, meeting her gaze only momentarily, his eyes were seemingly more interested in what was in and on her hand, but his ears were still taking in all she was saying. "No, no...I don't think it's bullshit." He corrected, raising his hand and waving it like he was dismissing her statement "It explains a lot actually. Earlier I did the opposite, trying to spook you both out of fighting so I could break up the fight while you were distracted. You didn't really react when he did and it confused me." He said with a light laugh, before glancing over to her. It was then he had spotted the blood staining the bed. His eyes widened as he immediately hoped to his feet "Oh shit! You're actually bleeding" He said matter of factly, almost like he had originally thought the blood wasn't real, that only he was seeing it (Which was actually what he thought) "S-Sorry!" he muttered as he looked around the room for bandages. Opening the cabinets at the opposite side of the room "Ah. There!" He said pulling some dressings out and carrying them over, sitting back down on the bed "You've lost a lot of blood as it is... I thought my eyes were just...seeing things" he said shaking his head "I can normally tell the difference..." He muttered the last part under his breath with a quiet sigh. He reached out for her bleeding had but stopped before he grabbed it, his expression hesitant. "You don't mind me fixing this up, right?" He asked, looking straight at her, he didn't want to just start yanking her hand without asking, especially if it might hurt more.

Diana gave Elliot a confused look as he was rushing around the room, the blood in her arm had stopped flowing out a bunch but it was still going, not feeling the draining of energy at all from the loss of blood, but a throbbing pain had returned from the spot where she was stabbed.

As Elliot rushed back with the bandages in his hand she looked him in the eyes then at her hand, "Oh... Uhm sure... I don't know why your worrying so much about me..." She said a light red tinge climbing onto her cheeks. Pull yourself together for Gods sake woman! The thoughts echoed out in her mind as she moved her open palm more towards Elliot. Her metal arm moving to her neck as she slowly but surely pulled the pendant off her neck and held it in her hand, looking over the image that was in the pendant as a single tear rolled down her cheek.

Everything would be much different if only I wasn't sold off to those bloody bastards... Another thought echoed out in her mind as her eyes glazed over at the image, the thunder cracking loudly outside that startled her and made her jump in the middle of Elliot fixing up her hand.

He slowly took her hand and and waited for her to open it. He paused in his movements for a moment when she had spoke "...Because who wouldn't?" He answered, his eyes not moving from the hand he was bandaging up "I'm... kind of crap social things... but I'm pretty sure almost no-one would sit and watch when someone was hurt like that" he commented with a shrug. He had caught her looking at the locket a few times now, but wasn't sure if it was his place to ask who was in it, as much as he wanted to. They had just met after all, so with a gentle sigh he continued what he was doing. It was then that the thunder outside cracked. Elliot didn't move but Diana had jumped, causing him to nearly drop the bandages "Oops" he laughed it off quietly before looking back to Diana "...Are you scared of storms?" He asked curiously. Dancing around the topic of what was troubling her for now, not only did he think it was too forward for him, he wasn't sure how you could gently say, 'Hey who's those people all scribbled in the locket I probably wasn't supposed to glance into'

Diana's face turned a deep bright red as she lowered her head, she had noticed the glances at the locket in her hand but he already asked another question, "Not... really... well... sometimes..." She said slowly as she lowered her head keeping it down facing the image before she let out a cold breathe again, the warm air freezing ti once more but it removed the blush from her face for now at least.

"I think your doing ok at being social... Better than me at least," She said giving a soft laugh before she let a quiet settle between them, the noises of the bandages and the thunder outside continuing to hammer down as he was almost done she let out a sigh before she spoke, "It's my parents." She said out of the blue as she closed the locket in her hand and put it around her neck, "There the reason I have these," She said pulling up her pants slightly showing off the metallic legs and referring to her arm. She held in a hiss from the pain she felt from moving so much but her eyes welled a bit from the sharp and continuous throbbing pain coming from her wound, which was starting to calm down, "So that's why I have it... They were the only family I had... have..." She said turning her eyes back up to Elliot, tears were welling in her eyes as she gave a soft smile before turning back down to her metal arm which she was moving individual fingers.

Elliot just smiled a little and shrugged noticing her face becoming embarrassed by it. "They're pretty loud. It makes sense" he said looking from her to her hand again. "And I'm glad you think so, my sister has been pushing me outside on my ass to get better at it when she spots me sitting inside my room or on my own." He said with a slight laugh. He didn't mind the silence, it wasn't all that awkward and while it had fallen he had managed to finish up the bandages on her hands. Just as he was lowering her hand she had spoke again. "Eh?" He stared at her puzzled before noticing her close the locket and put it around her neck. So he had been caught nosing into the locket. He looked away awkwardly as he put his hand through his hair. "I guess I wasn't all that discreet about it huh. Sorry, I shouldn't have looked..." He said apologetically as he looked to her metallic legs. "They made you how you are?" He questioned, wondering if she had lost her legs in an accident or something, that would have made sense to him, they were her parents but she had scribbled their eyes out...not to mention she almost stuck with had there... He narrowed his eye a little, waiting for her to get comfortable again before speaking "Where are they now?...your parents I mean. You're talking like you don't see them anymore..."

Diana sighed lightly when he mentioned himself looking, "If you wanted to ask it's ok. Pretty sure if you didn't take me here I'd be dead and those kids would be getting paid for it. So I owe you my life so to speak." She said laughing to herself as she looked back up at Elliot, the question that he brought up made her lower her head slightly looking at her locket, "Dead, most likely for 30 years now. I hope so anyway. For what they put me through I wish I could've killed them myself." She said in a cold tone that had no emotion in it, her face was a stone cold emotionless husk from before when she was talking.

"If you think I've got these... things.... Because they helped me in some way your wrong... very." She said before he seemed to snap into what she was saying, "Sorry... I didn't mean to snap at you..." She said letting out a sigh as another clap of thunder sounded outside caused her to jump, "Dammit..." She said under her breathe a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

She looked up at Elliot and moved her hand that was now bandaged over one of his, "Thanks, I mean it," She said giving him a genuine smile as the storm raged on outside. Diana gave a look out her window and let out a soft sigh, "Where do you live? If you don't mind me asking," She said the blush deepening on her cheeks.
