Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Naji huffed and turned his head away from Amelia. "I think that's exactly what's wrong" Elaena said giggling. After Amelia lay on Naji's back he froze for a moment before laying down in a defeated manner. "Cute" Elaena commented as she looked at the two. "Oh, so she is death. That makes sense...funny. I was always under the impression that death was a male. Maybe just because a lot of books and shows assume that it seems" she said before yawning lightly "I do not think my life can get much calmer than it is really, After all I sleep through most of it" she said lightheartedly.

"Naji is my new boyfriend." Amelia said playfully as she continued to roll around on his back, his fur still fluffy and comfortable. "He's big and strong and protective." She joked as she laid on him, placing her paws on his head. "That's because Death was a man at first. Got changed into a girl, and eventually fell in love, keeping her that way. Guess she got used to that life. Thinking like a woman and whatnot." Amelia explained. "I wish I could live like you. "

After Akira had arrived and Taylor greeted them, he left to go to the restroom. Right after leaving the restroom, he went to talk to their waiter who just so happened to be leaving their table. He had got some bread from him and soon heard a familiar voice. He turned around and saw Celia, who just so happened to be both his wife and coworker and lastly, the mother of his child. "Hello my lovely wife. I see you're looking dashing as always." He said, taking a bite into the bread he had got. "We should have left together." Walking back to the table, taking a seat where he was before; beside Thetis.

Sam chuckled. "No problem" she says. "So what wouldn't you like to do for your birthday today?" She asks

Marcus smiled "What wouldn't I like to do? Go battle the armies of the damned and get stuck in a portal and come back looking like I'm 58. That's what I wouldn't like to do."

''Doctor Strange...?''

Hanako asked curiously.

Syo nodded and rubbed the back of his head lightly. "Actually, I've never seen Doctor Strange... I heard that it was a superhero movie so there should be plenty of action." He said, hoping she'd agree. Cause he was told that the movie was good.

Sam blinked and shook her head. "Yea not again" she said with a chuckle

Yukari

Younger Sister of Akane

"That should be enough practice for one day."  A dark haired girl said as she sheathed her blade. Having to get used to a new place, she figured doing something she loved for a minute would help her calm down a bit. It was exciting, but she was here for a reason. Two actually. Her main reason was to escort a young girl who was gifted with the ability of those in the royal family has; the Tengan. The girl had lost her parents, and Yukari was tasked with bringing her to the king of Euphoria. She was tasked with this ability as she was close to the royal family being cousins with the king's mother.

The second reason; her sister. The very woman she looked up to since childhood. Her sister was a prodigy. She had always wanted to learn her sister's techniques and other skills, but she couldn't ever match up. That's when she began to train hard and study up on the things that would strengthen her ability.

Yukari had built a small cabin for her and the girl to temporarily stay in until they found what they came here for. She grabbed the towel she had and went inside, wondering if the kid had wondered off, "Hey kid!? We're gonna head out now, are you in here!?" She called to her.

HARUKA

It was kind of a blur after she was found in the aftermath of her parents death. Haruka was immediately taken and cleaned up, so despondent to the point where she couldn't have fought back even if she wanted to. What right did she have, anyways? If it wasn't for her, if she had only been honest and told her parents what was going on, then maybe, maybe they'd still be... Well, either way, it didn't matter. They were gone, and it was her fault. She didn't feel like she was worth saving at this point. But apparently her feelings didn't matter, because apparently she did something that she wasn't supposed to do. From what they were telling her, she apparently had some ability she shouldn't be able to have, an ability that only the royal family should have. Of course, to the young girl it didn't make any sense, but then again her parents were killed right in front of her so life really didn't seem to much sense at all.

So now she was temporarily under the care of a woman named Yukari. Apparently she was tasked to take her to the King over everyone else because of some close relation to the family, whatever that means. Haruka thought she had kind of a mean face that made her unapproachable, but she wasn't exactly mean. Just... straight to the point. When Yukari was calling for her and walking inside, Haruka was sitting right where she had been all day, sitting on the couch with a sad and distant expression on her face. Like she was detached away from reality. Haruka didn't have the energy or the desire to run off, being in this state. She barely even looked up at Yukari she entered in the house, saying nothing as her eyes dropped back down to her lap. Haruka hadn't said anything since she was placed under Yukari's care, and that wasn't changing now.

''Hm...alright. Let's go watch it.''

Hanako said as she smiled at him.

Syo blushed and nodded, admiring her consideration. He then nuzzled her neck lightly, which he did a lot cause he was a cat before getting their tickets. He took Hanako's hand and guided her in. "D-Do you wanna get food?"

VIOLETTA

It seemed like she wasn't late after all. Some people were still showing up, making her wonder exactly who was going to show up to this shindig. She was a fairly new hire to the school so it was a nice surprise to be invited herself, but some of the faces that she saw made complete sense. She had met a few of them but didn't really know any of them all too well, but Apollyon was probably the exception considering their jobs were the most similar. They had met a few times, even spent some time talking. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get the gist of what kind of person he was. Arrogant, a little showoffish, but entertaining. Just like herself, in a way. Because of that, they did get along really well. It was nice to see a face she kind of knew here. A few faces she had no recollection of seeing before, but they must have been invited for a reason. Supposedly.

Asuka soon passed her the wine list, and she grabbed it, giving her an excited smile, like a kid being handed some kind of candy bar. "Thanks much, friend!~" She exclaimed, giving the wife of the principal a wide grin before moving her gaze over the quite extensive list of wines. Her attention kept falling on the selection of red wines, as she much preferred that over white. Gosh there were just so many choices! What was a girl to choose?? Really, she didn't even need to wait, she could just fill up her glass and plate right now and skip the whole ordering process. But, that would be rude to the restaurant, so she decided on a simple Chardonnay for the moment. Once her wine was ordered, Violetta relaxed in her seat, glancing over at the other party guests. Of course, Apollyon was trying to flirt up all the women. Typical. Using a bit of her power to check into the teacher's pasts (except for the principal and his wife, it didn't seem to work on them for some reason), it seemed like most everybody at the table was taken. She could use this as an opportunity to rib him back for all the times he tried to get under her skin. "Careful there, cheese-boy, or you're gonna have some angry husbands after your head~" With a snicker, Violetta grabbed the glass of wine that was just placed on the table, glancing at her coworker with a raised eyebrow and a teasing expression.

(I will try to reply to everyone in one post instead of individually.)

--Thetis--

"So how was everyone's first day?" She asked the table. She was trying to strike up a conversation with her fellow faculty. She was having good time away from students and papers.

--Beatrice--

She chose to ignore Thetis and adressed the principle. "So I take it that your day went smoothly?" she asked nonchalant as she tapped her long tube on her handheld ashtray. "I do believe once everything settles that there should be some fostering of the spirit of competition at our fair school." she finished as she crossed her legs.

--Randall--

He chose to speak to Taylor and Apollyon. "So tell me any students stand out? anyone I should watch out for?" he asked his new friends, but mostly the whole table.

--Apollyon--

He noticed another teacher come in. "If I did not know better, I would swear that this was heaven, with so many angels for teachers." he complimented the lady teachers. He knew he was putting on a show of flirting, but secretly he wanted them to remember his face.

Lance glared at him as she spoke, her eyes holding quite the grouchy gaze. "I wouldn't even need to touch the house! Don't you know the term Assassination implies affecting the outside world as little as possible idiot! and who ever said i was a girl huh? but if your just going to be a little turd then maybe we should just call this bet off huh? I suppose you're just afraid of dying." Lance glared at him as she spoke arrogantly and with her final statement waved her hand across her face, the illusion surrounding her body shifting back to the male appearance she had originally met Haruo in.

...♅Akira looked over to the female who'd announced that she wasn't a teacher and spoke, shortly before he flashed her a small smile. His attention was then brought to Thetis, who seemed to be addressing him. Raising his eyebrow at her outdated way of speech, he leaned back in his chair and spoke, his right arm remaining slumped over the backrest of Asuka's chair. After he finished talking, he smiled to the group♅...

Ah, it's fine, Aselia-chan~ This is just an opportunity for us to unwind after a long day. You may stay if you wish~ It went surprisingly well, minus the few personal stuff that I had to attend to. I'd say it was a successful first day back. There was no serious fighting, apart from the student who had to be taken to the infirmary after my class. I guess he won't be making the same mistake of misreading his opponent again, so I guess it was a learning experience for him. How was everyone else's first day? Did I miss anything of note?

Ekayon scratched his head jostling his mane of hair while doing so. He did enjoy napping, though it wasn't of his own volition most of the time. His gift to commune with Gnome and the others was amazing, but his body hasn't fully adjusted to the abundance of power he harbored. As a result his narcolepsy was more of a side effect from his lack of control. Yet this narcolepsy extended to a small area around him. Like an odd form of hypnosis. "Well as far as naps go I do like them, though not as much as Gnome here. I'm actually more surprised you're awake. You must have a really strong will to stay awake around me. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to make friends because of this odd power of mine."

He was relieved to know that Vanille could resist his aura. Hopefully he would meet more people that could resist it as well so that he may make more friends. The two spirits still hiding within his hair, Sylph and Salamander, looked at Vanille with curiosity. She seemed nice enough and Ekayon seems to have trust in her. Perhaps it's because they enjoy the same things? Sylph sniffed the air around the girl. She definitely didn't smell like she was from this plane. Then again, from what Sylph could tell, most if not all of the other students here were the same way. Salamander looked closely into Vanille's eyes. Undine had once told her that you could see a lot through the eyes of a human. Salamander stared into her violet eyes for as long as she could before she gave up. "I don't understand what Undine means. How could anyone understand humans through their eyes? Hearts are easier to read. Hearts don't lie!" Salamander said aloud. Though only Ekayon could hear her.

Ekayon looked over to his right side. He saw Salamander struggling with her thoughts while hiding within his hair. A gentle, low sigh escaped his mouth before turning his attention back to Vanille. She said she was from another dimension and something about a spell book. Ekayon was taken aback by the notion of her being from a different dimension. He knew this school was special, but so special to have people fro different dimensions was beyond him. He was still trying to wrap his head around the idea that angels and demons are just walking around all willy-nilly. Still the thought that other people would be able to see the spirits would be nice. And if they didn't have to be channeled through the dolls that would lift a huge burden off of his shoulders. He mulled the thought over a bit more before coming to a decision. "I suppose that wouldn't be too bad. It would make it so I don't have to focus so much on maintaining their forms while in dolls. Plus I think the others would like to speak with you as well. If you can make then visible and tangible I'm sure that would go a long way for everyone involved."

((Sorry it took so long to reply @Lumina. I've been recovering from a double ear infection and I just started working again. I'm still recovering right now but I thought I should at least make sure you knew I was still here. I'm gonna be in and out for the next few days so I'm sorry in advance if I don't reply within that time frame.))

VANILLE

Perhaps it was because Vanille was from a different dimension that Ekayon's hypnosis/narcolepsy didn't really affect her. Either way, she didn't even realize that there was some kind of feeling like that coming from him. Or perhaps she was feeling it, but its effects were delayed. But Ekayon seemed really nice and friendly, so she was glad that she wasn't falling asleep right now. How boring and rude would that be for her to wake him up only to fall asleep in front of him? Definitely talking to him was more entertaining and more what she wanted to do. His state of being and these dolls and spirits really intrigued her and it made her want to get to know him better. "Well, either way, I suppose its a good thing I'm awake! I don't think I'd make very good conversation if I was napping."

A smile came on her face as wind blew around them, causing Vanille to close her eyes and move her head so that her hair didn't get in her eyes. This whole situation with the spirits was quite interesting. It wasn't that she was unfamiliar with spirits, though at home they were called spyrits, they had plenty back home that acted as familiars to a lot of dimensional witches (her mother had one named Lia, she was the cutest little light spyrit), it just made her wonder what the deal with Ekayon and his spirits and the spirits of Earth were like. Did they have differing personalities like the spyrits back home? Did they look familiar? How exactly did they talk? What did they do, did they have some purpose other than just existing and helping/serving someone? It was one of the underlying reasons that Vanille felt so inclined to help out this stranger she had met less than an hour ago.

Her expression brightened up as Ekayon agreed to accepting her help with creating permanent bodies for the spirits. "Awesome, I'll get started right away!~" Vanille exclaimed, sitting up and facing Ekayon with a better posture. Taking out her spellbook, she closed her eyes and focused, putting energy and magic into the book to make it find the spell she wanted. She knew it wasn't a low-level spell, so it was going to actually take some effort, but it wasn't going to be impossible. After a moment, the book flipped open on it's own to a specific page in the middle of the book, some sigils and symbols started glowing on the page itself. Within moments, what looked like liquid began forming itself into a ball above the page floating upwards until the ball was solidified and a transparent green in color. The same process repeated itself three more times, creating a blue, yellow, and red crystalline ball respectively. When all four were formed, the book stopped glowing, and the balls fell into Vanille's open palm. She looked over at Ekayon, holding out the balls for him to take. "Here you go. Have your spirits enter the ball of whatever color they want, and it'll create their permanent and tangible body. No more dolls~" She was starting to feel slightly tired, and it probably showed on her face, but it was most likely from the fatigue of such a high-level spell that used a good chunk of her magical energy.

YUMI ISHIDA

Yumi simply nodded and followed Han toward the lobby, starting to doubt herself if she should talk to Han or not. This was a personal issue that Kanon should probably tell Han herself about, but she knew her sister better than anyone. She knew she'd never tell anyone. Hell, Kanon didn't even tell her about what had happened, and they pretty much told each other everything. So if Han was ever going to know, which he needed to, it was up to her to let him know. If this was how Kanon was acting about it, she'd never tell anyone, and that wasn't going to be a good thing. She knew that Kanon would be super pissed for a while, and damn could she hold a grudge, and that reason right there was why she was hesitating in her mind. She didn't like the thought of her sister being mad... but that didn't matter right now. Han deserved to know what was going on with his sister, and she knew the only way for them to really reconnect and fix their relationship was if there were no more secrets between them. So she had to tell Han, no matter if Kanon liked it or not.

As they reached the lobby, Yumi's expression was showing the conflicted feeling she had over if she should tell Han about what had happened with Kanon, Taking a deep breath, Yumi took a moment to center herself before speaking. "Han... what happened with Kanon was..." Yumi explained to him everything that he had missed since the whole ordeal started, from the casino to befriending Achilles to when she herself was almost kidnapped by anti-supers... and then on to where she was attacked and molested, which explained all the scarring she had and the stubborn bruises that didn't want to go away, and then everything that happened leading up to Kanon ending up in the infirmary with Achilles. When she was done, she exhaled, looking up at her brother with a saddened expression. "That's what happened. I know Kanon should probably be telling you this herself, but she really needs you and I know that she'd never tell you this, so I am. I didn't know what else to do." Her gaze fell down from Han's and she glanced back at the door to Kanon's room, hoping that she'd be okay.

Han listened as Yumi yold him everything. His smile which barely remained faded. Trying to keep his heaf on straight was becoming a challenge. His own sister. He looked down at Yumi and gave her the slightest bit of a smile. "I know now why she didn't tell me." He said as his clothes changed into his black robes and his sword appearing on his back. "She knows very well how I'd react and for her sake, I won't. In fact, I'll just leave." He said, leaning over and kissing Yumi's forehead. "If Yumi finds out you told me, don't deny it. She was bound to say something sooner or later. Now I love you sis, and tell you Kanon the same when she wakes up. I'm going to clear my mind." Han said before turning around and walking away. Never has he in his own life wanted to kill someone. Luckily those guys were done for as it is, then he thought. Achilles was fit enough to keep herself, and maybe he... Maybe she didn't need him anymore. He didn't know. This is why he had to clesr his mind. It'd help him think again. At least in the right way.

((Now are we talking like GameStop or like an arcade?))

Rael giggled as she walked back to Junchi and wrapped her arms around his, making sure her chest pressed tightly against his arm. "Sure, lead the way."

Junchi took a moment to input directions to the store, then began leading Rael once he was sure he knew where to go. It was weird how different they were acting now than before, and frankly, he liked the people he was interested in to be more dominating than letting him lead them around. He never considered a relationship where one had more strength than the other, but he already had Moonstone to be the person who let him lead them everywhere. Then again, Moonstone didn't flirt with him that much, at least, not publicly. What a shame too, cause if they did that'd make his day for sure. Only time they flirted with him was to manipulate his emotions for fun, for a joke, to try and to get something out of him, or some other goal. The only option he liked was when they were both in on the joke and jokingly flirted with one another.

He tried to get his mind off of his relationship with Moonstone. This was his time away from them, and he knew the moment he went back to school he'd have to be with them again, which wasn't always a bad thing. For now, he decided to try and converse with Rael until they reached the store. "So, what sort of video games do you like? I like multiplayer games, especially fighting games."

OOC: I was thinking GameStop since those types of places have games you can buy and some you can test out.

Syo's ears folded in despair. He had no money left to get food with. "I-I'm sorry..." He said with a frown.

Hanako gave Syo a confused look before thinking about the money. It didn't seem like he had a job, so his money should be pretty low. She giggled before poking his nose playfully.

''Jeez Syo, you didn't have to mention it if you don't have the money for it.''

Aselia turned her attention to Akira who was spoke to her. She slowly let her hand descend back down to her lap before she smiled back before turning her attention at the table, watching the teachers converse. She felt a bit uneasy still but she learned how to cope with it now that someone is letting her stay.

''Ah...I see. Thought I was in a business meeting or something..''

Moonstone

Location: Exiting Vampire Library
Status: Walking behind Jackson through Evelyn's portal
Objective: Get out-of-school tutoring in their powers
Mood: Happy

Two years sounded like an awfully long time away from their friends and family, despite them only having about two or three friends at Euphorian High, and their family were in a different country (but was still moderating them closely). "Well, hopefully I can go back every now and then. I have to be there, not just because of the school, but because my family and Junchi wants me to; however, I certainly don't mind two years of tutoring outside of school. I get my schoolwork done fast and easily anyways, and the classes don't take too long in my opinion," they told the two. A training room sounded wonderful though, and followed Jackson into the portal Evelyn made.

Evelyn sighed lightly when she entered the training room, a large stone room with electrical lights dotted around the large interior, lighting to the place to the full before she moved over to a lone table in the corner, the room was totally empty except for the table and lights. After Jackson and Moonstone has entered the portal closed behind them. Jackson walked foward a bit away from where they arrived, he turned to face Moonstone with a blank expression, almost serious, "This is the room in which our alchemists train, they are usually placed in here until they can transmute a simple item, such as stone into sand." He said his face still serious before he opened his hand, a flame appearring the next second in it, "This is a simple one, air to fire." He said before it disappeared, "Since you are a guest in this home, i will train you myself." He said his expression still serious before a smile broke out on his face.

(( @Nona Um, do you owe me a reply? Or do i...?

@LunaCrosby Um, do i owe you one? Cause i am pretty sure i do, but i can't be sure, pretty sure you do... ))

((I owe you one, Sorry, I haven't been giving out replies lately :'D. So uh, I think there was a time skip last... Right?))
