Yumi nodded, "Yeah. I don't really like going into dark places or super dark rides. I feel like you never really know what's in the dark, even if it's my own dorm. So there is a night light that I use before I go to bed." Her cheeks were were a little red as she said this. It was a little embarrassing to admit to being in high school and still be afraid of the dark and sleep with a night light, at least that's how she felt. Being afraid of the dark seemed like a childish thing, since some kids were usually afraid of the dark. Yumi was like that when she was younger and had never gotten over the fear.
