"We are, given the scope of things." He said as he looked out by poking the large shutter up. He slowly closed it, but the road was empty except for the sounds of a battle in the distance. "Yeah we are safe." he comforted. He found a strange thing on the wall and pushed it. Bright light illuminated the inside. But from the outside it was barely noticeable. "Well we have light now." he said smiling.

Dakota blinked a few times as he hugged her close, honestly this change if tone he had, going from cheerful to his current mood worried her, what if this feeling he was having wasn't just a feeling? She hugged him back, smiling softly "We'll be fine if anything ever happens, you won't lose me or I won't lose you, I'll make sure of it" she said quietly and reassuringly.
