Patience is my weakest area. Damn it. I'll try my hardest not to start flipping tables at teasing hints. Steven Moffat has given me enough practise at that.


I need to stop procrastinating and start thinking about who my characters will be and stuff. I may end up changing a name, because I'll be damned if I'm not throwing a Dane into this one.

not at all in my opinion, it just all depends on what kind of character you want to play doesn't it?


what if you wanted to play a lower powered character? this isn't a vs video game it's a writing roleplay after all, what kind of powers you get are going to effect what kind of character you play and their significance and what they can do. what if you just wanted to play a weaker character caught up in all this and just trying to do the best you can? that's an interesting story and worthwhile. it's all about how you play your character not how powerful they are or how cool their powers are.

Oh, I know all that. I'm just commenting that I find it amusing to see what I randomly get. Fully aware that people like tailoring characters like that. I just prefer randomly getting what I get and running with it. I find that a more mentally stimulating way to do things. Brings a bit of a mental challenge when your powers include the generation of bandages from your body or extreme proficiency with using guitars as weapons or whatnot. I also find it suits me to be random.


Of course, I felt the need to try and be silly when expressing that. Thus the comments about the 'coward' option and stuff. I just poke fun at things.

at the expense/misjudgment of others? well if that's what you find fun you're going to have to deal with people speaking against you. you can like what you like without putting down other people's choices

I'm not upset, mate. I'm a mix of confused and amused. How exactly am I taking large offense? Eh. Anyway. I add my apology for possibly upsetting or whatever-ing you to the pile and call it a day. I'll be more careful with my jokes in future. Until I forget to, which will probably be in a day or two, because my memory is an amazing kind of terrible.

@AllHailDago I've been bouncing around ideas for characters (I know we have a ways to go before anything is official) but I was wondering if you could give us a little info about their world? Like is it Earth or is it a made-up place based on locations in Earth?


Mostly asking for the sake of naming conventions...it takes me so long to settle on names so might as well give myself some time to ponder it lol.

2.) You're gonna need to specify a bit more on what brand of healing for what level it'd be. But yes, healing abilities are valid. And given all the combat abilities thatre gonna happen, healing others would be helpful/special.

It will be 2016 Earth as it irl. The beginning of the rp will be based solely in New York City. We'll branch out elsewhere later, and you can have been born elsewhere or just be coming to NYC on a trip/move/what have you, but that's where the beginning will be based.
