Definitely drinking buddies. And while he’s far too old for her to see as being her child, she’d view him as family in a way. So much time spent around one another and their shared connection to Aslan would make it tough for her to see it any other way.

But I can definitely see them getting together to have a drink of whatever wine he’s acquired from his journeys haha

That's fair. He would return back home and when he catches sight of her, he tells her about this new alcohol he bought and when would be a good time for her. He's not very talkative naturally so I imagine a lot of their drinking sessions has to have Tarja ask questions to get him to talk about places ;-;

I love his spell list. Very versatile and unique. Kinda scary if on the wrong end of it as well. Fits the theme. You have earned the points if brownies.

Looked at Malchor too and holy hell this man and his wife terrify me LMAO. Maivier would be terrified too if he wasn't messed up in the brain and didn't know what fear was ;-;

Maivier probably looked up to him a lot and when he was sent off to war, he had to step up to ensure the safety of the kingdom and to provide aid to others while Malchor was off fighting Dagon.

And for that reason Malchor would absolutely love Maivier. firstly his willingness to fill the void left by his leaving, he would see that as a noble action.

Then they are actually pretty decent matches for one another. I could see their sparring matches being very amusing to witness. Neither would be too likely to try to kill the other, so you would have a Brilliant lightshow of blades, lightning, and Shadows. Maivier is certainly faster and has more diverse spell list so he may actually win from time to time in the courtyards.

I could see alot of respect between the warrior princes.

Sadly i think their sparring nowadays would be a more private affair though i could see the spectacle events occurring before the war.

After the war His death wouldve been reported to the public and his resurrection and return would only have been revealed to those he thought could keep it a secret and were important to him.

Needless to say he would have revealed himself to Mauvier.
