Yes. Though i will point out monsters are not weak to light, they just cannot spawn in the light. Monsters who have already spawned can go into the light no problem. However a light mage will mean a much safer campsite for sure.
Well if you blast light it can blind, if its searing light they can burn. I just mean its not like how grass pokemon are weak to fire.
Yup magic is a tool and is effective in itself but its most effective when paired with skill and proper gear.

A few reasons actually. She is not a native Edenian, she is born from the Barbarian tribes beyond the southern border who have long since been a pain in the Edenian backside. In addition her adopted father, an epic knight, Lead a failed mission that resulted in the deaths of Himself and five other epic knights. So she has few friends. The prince likes her because she is "A Deadly beauty". However not alot of people like the prince as he has a reputation as a party boy who has lost face for turning down Duels so she has to deal with that as well...all that said she is a very very capable Guardian.
Oh yeah. Even the prince would have ahard time getting his hands on one of those.
That would mean you basically became a lord with a castle, an army, and even a small fleet of warships.
Oh yeah. Your more likely to find a maguc sword lying around. If you see one be careful. Odds are its a trap.
