Fantasy The Dragon's Elves

A soft smile came across her face and nodded "Of course, but I can tell you have no place to go, Something attacked you, but I can tell something bad has happened, and your not willing to admit it. However, I understand, you chose not to believe it happened, because you didn't want it to happen...it is okay to feel weak, to look weak and to think you are weak, but it will only make you stronger. I was to weak to save my father when he was attacked by trolls, I got knocked out and they finished him off. He was what kept me going." sighing she started to walk out "Follow me if you want to leave, but first I will give you something my father gave me before he died, and remember you are always welcome to my lair when I am here, if I am not here then do not enter, unless you are dying." she nodded lightly heading down to her treasure room.

'Now where can I find a troll.' Conner thought as he walked through the forest. To Conner, three trees together was practically a forest. He heard trolls ruled the underground, but how to get there, a cave of course. There were probably caves on or near the mountain. The dragon was nice, so he didn't have to worry about that. So off he webt, once more to the mountain. He probably wouldn't make it before nightfall, but a simple camp and a dinner on roots was no stranger to him.

Curious, Ryvuv followed her out of the room, taking his staff and giving the shadow man a polite nod of farewell. The girl's ability to guess his thoughts were unnerving, and he wondered if he was that easy to read. He stretched his healing arm and sighed, unsure of what to expect.

They made it to the deepest part of her chambers, the room where she keeps all of her treasure. She glanced around, not us to the fact that she was so small, after a few minutes of looking she walked over to a wall, it was bare with no cracks or shelves. She gently brushed the wall with her hand and it moved, reviling a small room, just big enough for one person. She picked up one, of the many, emeralds inside and it closed shut as she walked back to the wounded man. She handed it to him and nodded "Take this emerald, it is not like ordinary emeralds. My father enchanted it and gave it to me as a present, it will help you gain revenge on who ever, or whatever did you wrong, but be warned, this will not heal a broken heart" she put it in his hands and nodded "Trust me...I learned the hard way" she gestured for him to follow as she started the descent up to the exit.

Ryvuv thanked her and took the emerald, putting it safely in his pocket. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with it, but he imagined that it would turn out to be useful. He followed her towards the exit.

It was getting dark and Conner was only half way back to the mountain. Deciding that he could reach it early the next day, Conner begins to look around for a good csmpsite. He eventually found a spot inbetween the roots of an oak tree to lay down in and use his cloak as a blanket. Going into a light sleep, Conner waits for the morning to come.

She finally made it to the top, where a small snow storm was brewing and she nodded to Ryvuv "Take care...and be safe....." she nodded lightly to him before quickly looking away "No dragon is to show emotion in front of....another creature" the truth was, she didn't want him to leave, it gets lonely in her lair, and she missed having a wizard around her.

Ryvuv looked out at the approaching storm and darkness. He reconsidered leaving. "If I may, I would actually prefer to sleep here tonight and embark in the morning." He shivered, and wondered if he would have to get some better equipment for his journey. At a sudden realization, he turned to the girl. "I don't think we have been properly introduced," he smiled. "I'm Ryvuv, and you are?" He put out his hand.

She looked back and could help but gleam with joy and she took his hand lightly, shaking it with care and nodded to him "I'm Ashurin Kokoro, or some call me the Ice dragon...And I don't mind if you stay the night, the storm should be gone by tomorrow morning" she smiled happily as she held back from skipping back down her lair, and tried to calmly walk back into the lair

"It's nice to meet you, Ashurin." His hand tingled a bit as a result of the handshake. He wondered if it was because of some sort of energy Ashurin was radiating, or his own mind. His time spent in the mountains had been mostly devoid of females. He started following her back down to the lair. He wondered about sleeping arrangements. This was a home for a dragon, and dragons do not usually use beds.

Moved semi quickly down into her sleeping chambers, then walked down a narrow hall way, only big enough for smaller creatures like Wizards or humans to walk through. They came upon a door and she opened it, reviling a small room with a old oak desk, a bed, and a small bed side table with a lamp on top and she smiled shyly at it "I-It's not much, I know, but it's all I have, it use to be my fathers room...and use to be bigger, but part of it caved in so I fixed it up as best I could" she turned to him nodding happily

The shadow man just observed without being seen. He watched her transform into a short blonde girl, and he noted many things about the wizard. He heard something about the wizard staying the night, and many thoughts and calculations ran through his mind. He followed them into the bedroom, and he said to the wizard "Call me Abner, and Call me Friend. Like you I have magic, so there is no need for fear"

Turning away "Ashurin? Or do you prefer Kokoro? Anyway, let me know when you're ready to talk some more. I am here for your benefit as much as mine. I will read and maybe sleep here if that's ok with you." The walking shadow got out his book and sat down in the room they were in when the wizard interrupted. He began to read again

"if you pay close attention to wisdom, and let your mind reach for understanding," was what he mumbled to himself reading it aloud.

He glanced around the room and saw it was empty. He hoped the dragon hadn't heard him, he didn't want her to know what he was reading...

"Thank you Ashurin, I am sure I will be very comfortable here." Ryvuv leaned his staff against the wall, but kept his dagger. Better safe than sorry. It was nice to have the shadow man's name. He said he had magic. But, what kind? He certainly didn't seem like your average wizard. Ryvuv would have to keep an eye on him. Sitting down on the bed, Ryvuv had a moment of fear. This is a dead man's bed. Long dead probably. Ashurin's father sounded like he was a great wizard. But exhaustion got the best of him, and he realized he was anxious to sleep. He smiled at Ashurin and started preparing for sleep.

Nodded to Ryvuv, and turned walking into her lair and lightly hitting Abner in the back of the head with annoyance "Could you be anymore mysterious?! Hes a wounded Wizard...well not as wounded before...but still! Stop being so...Shadowy.....and 'creepy' I don't want him to think I'm crazy!" She was talking more to herself then Abner as she paced, she had heard him read the book out loud and just didn't pay attention to it. She huffed with annoyance at herself and plopped down on the far end of her sleeping chambers, into a fern and other types of leaves bed mumbling to Abner "If you want some where to sleep" she point to the other end of the chamber "Then there is a leaf pile" She mumbled to herself before drifting off to sleep

Had she been dragonhe would have slept next to her for warmth. But being in a lady form he minded his manners, and rolled over where he lay once he heard the dragon snore. He let himself drift to sleep.

When he woke up he sat against a wall and began to read

Ashurin was still sound asleep as he awoke, he snoring soft and smooth, rather more human like then dragon. Even when she is in dragon form she snored lightly.

Abner waited until the dragon was somewhat more awake, he responded only when her breathing pattern changed and the snore stopped, certai she was awake he said "Good morning, do you have suggestions for food? Am I aloud to hunt around here?"

Conner woke up early the next morning. Not bothering to make a fire and deciding to have a cold breakfast, he once more heads towards the mountain. When he finally got there perhaps he could stay a night. After all, the dragon wouldn't kill him.

Ryvuv awoke gasping from a night of vivid nightmares. He had dreamt of blood, violence, and death. For a moment, Ryvuv struggled to remember how he had gotten to that bed. He was finding that as his magical ability greatened, his memory weakened. Eventually realizing where he was, he dressed and removed himself from the comfortable bed. He glanced at the oak desk. Curious, he searched the containers of the desk. He found several old scrolls. Carefully unrolling one, he examined the notes inside.

While Ashurin sat up she nodded lightly to the wall and mumbled in a sluggish and sleepy voice "yes you may hunt"

In the room where the elf was reading the scrolls, the one he held was written in a language that only a dragon would understand, however, at the bottom the name 'Feller Rucker' was written in elvish and was slightly smudged, as if someone tried to rub it off

As the wind blow,as the water flows, and as the animals Grow the Guardian of the sea will finally awake from it slumber under the sea trench he would swim to the surface as as the light of the sun Glares threw the water and his six heads shoot out of the water and his serpent body would flote on the surface of the water he would give out a loud roar as he has finally awaken he would swim threw the surface of the sea and guard it as a child of his own

Conner had finally reached the base of the mountain. Now all he had to do was find a cave and hope trolls were in it. Walking around the mountain, he eventually finds a cave. Taking out his axe, he bashes it on his shield, and a loud echo resounded through out the cave. If anything was in here, it would have heard that.

(OOC) Since it's your mountain, I'll leave it up to you wether trolls or other nasty monsters are in it, Ashurin.

Feller Rucker... Have I heard that name before? No... I don't think so. The rest of the page was just gibberish. A clutter of strange symbols that Ryvuv couldn't decipher. He noticed Ashurin. "Good morning, and thank you for the bed. I slept well."

She stood and turned looking at Ryvuv and nodded lightly "Anytime, I believe it is time for you to set off?" she smiled warmly to him
