Fantasy The Dragon's Elves

"Something about losing myself to the shadows, and being losing consistency in my body, sounds like basicly I am becoming a shadow."

He flipped through the pages.

"What can I help you with?"

She looks to him and bellows

"I need you to help me defeat the other dragons and Trolls that are against us"

She walked around him

"I have somethings that only creatures as small as you can use, Follow me"

She walked out of the Study and deeper into her lair, finally showing up in the treasury

"you could choose to be as small as I do you not? What bone do you have to pick with them? Information saves lives, lives save love."

He followed keeping his eyes open.

She turned and growled at him "I do not enjoy being small, or being human. And what bone do I have to pick with them? I do what I do out of the kindness of my heart. Do you wish for me to turn on the humans and help aid in the plan of taking over the world?" She lowered her head and moved her head till it was just inches away from your face. She blew out and a gust of cold air hit him

He let the shadow come off of him in waves, and he knew she could sense them.

"Are you saying that I should just assume I understand everything about you? Are you expecting me to understand the difference in form?"

He took a step back from her. He felt suddenly melded into the shadow itself, "see? How can you say I can understand? "

He appeared next to her head. "I might be small, but even I deserve respect." He gingerly reached out to her again.

She was not scared or nervous by the shadows, in fact they pecked her interest and wanted to learn about them. "I am not applying that you should understand everything, I'm saying take my trust without questions. A number one rule to not anger a dragon, is to not question there loyalty and trust. If I had not been the one you found...You'd be dead by now, that is if your shadow friends where not around." As he changed and appeared next to her head she simply looked at him by turning to see him "Indeed you do deserve respect, but just like in your world, you must earn it, and so far, I have no reason to respect you, or help you in that matter, but I still do" She did not move her head as he reached out to her. "And besides, a small size like you, comes in handy at times" she snorted as he gently placed his hand on her and she stared at him with her piercing brown eyes, the shimmering gold faintly visible.

Ryvuv meandered through the snow. Blood was dripping from his arm where the troll had cut him. He shivered as he pulled his armor tighter. Looking down the mountain, he saw the distant fields, and saw what he thought could be a group of unicorn. Ok. Just keep walking. Its not that far... He made way for the fields. A short while later, he felt a huge burst of energy run through his bones and mind, causing him to collapse to the ground. As his vision blurred, he noticed the sharp contrast his red blood made with the white snow. He thought he heard talking just before the world went black.

Ashurin's keen ears and senses told her something was not right, she left the human where he was and quickly rushed out of her den, looking around she smelt blood, that of an elves and came fully out, looking around. Not being able to see him she made her way towards the side that pointed the fields and found the elf laying in blood stained snow. Worried for his health she gently picked him up in her claws, stumbling back to her lair, and making her way to where she stores healing Items. She walked in and placed him down carefully, sitting down, unable to help him till he awakens

Ryvuv's ascension into consciousness was unbearably fast. Opening his eyes, he saw a black clad human and next to him... a dragon?! Ryvuv quickly closed his eyes again. No, no, no. What have I gotten myself into? He was surprised to find that he was unbound. He peeked again, to see that the dragon was sitting down, but not looking directly at him. He took a minute to check his surroundings. Were those... healing salves on the wall? What kind of dragon had medicine and kept human company? Completely at a loss, he got up to a crouch, pulling a knife from its sheath. He flinched as the blade made a noise, and hoped the dragon wouldn't turn towards him. Whoever this dragon was, she was not to be trusted.

She heard the Elf awaken as he took in a breath and pulled out his weapon, and just like most elves and creature that did not know her, there first reaction was to defend themselves and she turned around, her brown eyes giving off a warm gentle feeling as the hint of gold to it flashed with care. "You come quickly Elf, just as my father did. I have a feeling you take role as a wizard...No?" she stood and moved around him to gently pick up some strange looking leaves on the ground "Don't be afraid, I do not intend to harm, just ask the unicorns once you make your way to the fields, I keep them company when I feel lonely" she turned around and blew a small breath of frosty air on the leaves and they start to shrivel up "I saw you in the snow, it was stained with your blood, your lucky I got to you when I did, if I hadn't, one of the other dragons could have gotten there claws on you" she moved back in front of him laying down the leaves on the ground

Abner heard the slide of a blade, he raised his and it grew with shadow.

The shadow man said nothing, but he would defend the dragon if he had to, she expected respect to be earned, and she expected loyalty, and his trust. He gave it.

He thought to himself: The dragon is more like people then she thinks. I do not show such a social trait, then again they call me weird for my trust and my abilities...will they consider me weird as well?

He knew his face was still well hidden from both of them, and he wanted it that way.

She moved her tail lightly gesturing that Abner put his blade away. She had no intention of frighting this elf. She breathed calmly as she waited for his response

Abner put the sword away, and he sat down on the ground and began reading.

"If you need me, dragon, you know where to find me." He laughed.

Conner walked on the snowy cap of the mountain, fur cape billowing behind him. This was the closest thing like home he has xperienved in a long, but it would be longer still before he could return. Enjoying the brittle cold and the harsh winds that were so like home, Conner notices the meadows below. 'Should probably set up shelter there. One night will not hurt though.' As he searched for a good place to set up an ice cave however, he stumbled across a patch of bloody snow. He did not know who, or what, it came from or why, but he learned that it is best to make sure you are safe then hope. So swining his shield onto his left arm and taking out his axe, Conner begins to patrol the area, looking for signs of a kill, a carcass, or what ever did the killing and planned to scare it off or kill it, which ever it decided.

I walked out of my cottage, having my bow and arrow ready. I breathed in the cool air of the Forest. I sighed as I stare at the dirt road that leads to the deepest part of the forest. I walked gracefully, just wandering and decided to walk alittle more further to the other side of the forest.

I hummed a song my mother sang to me when I was very little. I thought of someone else nearby. There's probably not a lot of visitors walking around here. It has been a while. I continued my journey around the forest and noticed the bright light. I realized it has been only a few hours since I have walked. I was feeling tired and leaned against a tree. I can see the sun light shine.

Ryvuv cautiously sheathed his blade, standing up from his crouch. He examined the dragon warily. She did give off a certain... warmth that he had not expected. The dark human was very sketchy, and gave off a strange energy that made Ryvuv shudder. "I am a wizard of sorts." He said as he eyed the leaves cautiously. "Why would you help me?"

She smiled lightly as he seemed to have calmed a little "I see you have not heard of me....But I help any creature who needs It, I make it my duty to heal any wounded living thing that I come across or that comes to me" she crushed the leaves and froze it into a solid ice block. She gently cut a piece off and slide it to the elf "I am Ashurin Kokoro and I only with to help you, not put that on your wound, it will help it as the ice melts over it"

The cloaked figure looked up from his book. Sensing the elf's gaze upon him.

"I am not here to make enemies, only allies, and judging by the way this dragon alarmed you, it seems you are my ally not my foe. I am here to help fight the dragons, believe it or not"

He looked back down to his book. He had no cares, the dragon wanted things her way, he would be patient. All great strategists were.

Still cautious, Ryvuv eyed the block of ice. His wound was hurting terribly, and he gave in. The ice had a soothing affect as soon as it was put on the wound, and he wondered if it was magically infused. The mysterious cloaked human had said he was an ally, but Ryvuv could not ignore the radiating energy coming from the man. "There's something wrong with you." He said bluntly. Looking back at the dragon, he remembered something. "My staff... Do you have my staff?"

"Isn't there something wrong with all of us? Especially you mr.panick?"

His eyes didn't leave the page. "Regardless of what you think of me, you need me all the same to win this"

I just lean on the tree. Staring out at the distance. I yawned, feeling at peace, looking down. I head out from the forest and just looked at what is around here. I have my hands behind my back and walked slowly, just observing what's around me.

As Conner walked the parimeter of his future camp site, he sees dragon foot prints. He has seen a few, most wanted to kill him, but a few didn't. After seeing that blood stained snow, Conner didn't think it was friendly. He began to softly tab his axe against his shield and chant under his breath. May his Ancestors see the battle that is about to take place and greet him with open arms into the Hall.

Ashurin turned and gently scooped up the Elves staff and she laid it in front of him "Ah, yes I did. I new it belonged to you when I almost stepped on it, but good thing I saw it." she nodded and bellowed "How did yo-" she stopped as her keen ears heard the beatting of the shield and the chanting, the elf and human may not have heard it, but she did and she grumbled "Stay put, and don't fight" standing she swiftly made her way out of the lair and to the surface. She popped her head out first then her body followed slowly and the noise came from where she found the wounded elf. Bellowing in annoyance she made her way over, then spotted Conner and she sighed with relief at the sight "What is it that you are doing? So close to a dragon's lair? And out in the open? You could get killed if any other dragon saw you" she said softly as her warm brown eyes gazed at him. The specks of gold in her eye reflecting back to him.

His eyes went wide when the dragon was leaveing him with the elf. If the elf did something funny, even if he had won, there was a good chance the dragon would have her revenge.... This was a tough decision.

"Don't try anything, even if you win the dragon will have retribution"

He put the book away, and stood up and put his back against the wall. He was black standing against shadows, perfectly still. Although his hand was away from the hilt it would only take him half a second to draw it, plus the shadows would protect him.

Conner held his shield up and prepared to be attacked. But nothing happened. Did the dragon say something? Peering out from behind his shield, he stares back at the dragon, who was just sitting there. It might be one of the good ones, but blood on the mountain that was apparently close to it's lair said otherwise. "You will not fool me dragon." Conner shouted at it as he began to hit his shield harder and faster, raising his voice into the battle hymn of his people. May he not be banished to the Everfrost, but accepted into the Hall as a warrior and a man.
