ARCHIE "THE SCOTSMAN" MCKEEGAN
Milly's embrace was worth getting achy hands making those little idols; the lumberjack cracking another smile. "You know you're my little bluebird, Mills." He commented, stroking the back of her head as she nuzzled into him with thanks. She needn't have said a thing, for the big Scotsman knew what it meant by that point. There was more gratitude in that expression than he might've ever received in his own line of work if the apocalypse hadn't begun. The younger girl continued to leap up in order to help her newly acquired, black and yellow friend -- the small plastic box put into Arch's lap whilst she stumbled off toward the canteen, returning minutes after from her mission successfully to again retrieve the tupperware from him and give the bee a boost of sugar. With his young companion snuggling into his side, he was more or less shocked by the peck on his cheek; causing his complexion to turn ruddy. "What was that about?" He gave a small laugh, appearing flattered more than anything. They sat watching the bumblebee till Milly put the chicken in his lap, taking the small insect off to release it back where it would begin the long journey to the hive. McKeegan stroked Norris' feathers back, settling the bird down as he waited, giving a little well-needed scratch here and there. Glancing up at Milly's eventual return and proposition, Archie began to nod. "How about we go down to the river? We can still play hide and seek you know. But it'd be nice, we could even invite Jen and Zelda to tag along, and of course, Dan the man." He began to get up, putting the poultry down as he caught the figure of the doctor out the corner of his eye. "And here's my favourite person now!" He twisted around on his heel, grabbing Zed's elbow to tug her in toward him. "Just who I was looking for, now, we're going down to the river to cool off and play some hide and seek. You're coming whether you like it or not." Whipping off his cap, he tugged it on over her head to hide her bloodshot, hungover eyes. "No arguing."
The lumberjack hopped across to the house, doing a little jog before crashing the door open and leaning into the hallway. "JEN, WE'RE OFF TO THE RIVER! YOU SHOULD COME! MACK'LL BE FINE. 'AVE KIDNAPPED ZED. REMEMBER TO BRING TOWELS." With a sniff he looked between the doctor and Milly before making his way back over, jerking a thumb over his shoulder in the direction of their somewhat leader. "She should've heard that. Now come on." Wrapping one arm around Zelda to push her with him, one hand gently on the top of Milly's head they now approached Calliope and Daniel. "Hey! You two! We're headin' out to the river. It's outside the Mountaintop but it'll be good for a cool off and a game. I think everyone needs a laugh since Dave went bonkers. How'd you like that idea, Danny boy? Cali?" He grinned, squeezing both Zelda and Milly as he tried to persuade their fellow survivors. "I'll throw you as far as I can and everythin'. Just like a water park. Although, more river-like." He mused comedically.
