Futuristic The Codes of Humanity

He pushes himself back onto the top of the van and starts pointing at everyone who stepped out of the van. "You, you and you. Shut up." He scratches his head before he closes his eyes and stretches. When the lady yells at him again, he glares at her, his blue eyes glowing a bit. "Watch your tone." The glass on the wind shield cracks a little.

She grew flustered, "you're breaking my car!" She whined.

She groaned and climbed back into the van, lying down.

"Everyone leave me alone, I've had enough."

When the new Code refused to listen, and even went so far as to cause damage to the van. The Extant began to darken, and it almost seemed as if the area around him was doing the same.

"If you don't stop doing what you're doing; I can't guarantee you'll like what I so. So I'll ask again nicely ... Please stop doing what you're doing, you're damaging Minerva's van."

He hops off the van and dusts off his shoulder, chuckling as he walks up to the extant. "Nicely?" his eye start to flicker again between blue and red, showing he's trying to seem calm as he gets in his face. "And who the hell are you to speak tome that way lapdog."

Minerva lay in the van, sulking. This day had been too long, Codes, jumping through windows, the Jammer... She wasn't used to all this madness! Every day she sat at her desk or in meetings or somewhere else. She wasn't cut out for this, she decided.

She cradled her head. And I've hit my head one too many times, she thought, her head pounding.

I'll just close my eyes for a bit..

He ignored the comment for the time being, and merely blinked when the man got up in his grill. The light surrounding the two of them was almost nonexistent at this point, and the darkness around them moved around as if it was alive..

"Cataclysm."

Elle smirked, finding the little conversation between Error and Damien quite humorous. The compliment received was a bit shocking yet genuinely sweet. She watches Damien as he's thrown on top of the van. The following events entertained her whilst holding onto Error, making sure to stay focused. Her head gently placed on the back on his shoulder, watching. Thats one odd code... she thought. Lifting and turning her head back to the road by the time the van halted.

Minnie massaged her temples and then curled up on the seat. So much had happened on so little sleep, and the pounding in her head wasn't letting up.

Her eyelids fluttered closed, but there was something nagging at the back of her mind.

Something she'd forgotten?

Something she shouldn't do...

She'll think about after a quick rest

Shura sped up, and stopped near Extant. He wasn't too keen in the way Damien was acting either, but he couldn't let the two fight. Putting a hand on Extant's shoulder he spoke. "It's not worth it man. How about you go check on Minerva? I'm sure she's a little - unhappy."

He smirks. "considering the state of your face i think the name fits you" he chuckles as shura arrives. "Well look who it is." he looks at the crowd and shakes his head. "Such a shame." he looks to extant. "i suggest you turn off the darkness before i light it up."

Shura frowned. Though Damien seemed finished acting as if he was a normal human, he didn't like the circumstances of it. "Yeah. So happy to see you again. Any reason you're causing trouble? We're kind of in a hurtle. Trying to get to so Shade that aren't even in this city. Think you can scram?"

He raises his hand and smiles at shura. "I'm the one asking the questions so shut it." He puts his hand down and reaches into his pocket, pulling out some candy and paces back and forth. "Now you were speeding for some reason and to add to that you're with a human." He jumps back on the van."Now if i was a betting man." He stops and points at everyone. "Which i'm not!" He resumes pacing. "Then i'd say you're either running from something or chasing something." He flips off the van and lands perfectly."Now the question is what." He looks at everyone. "now the question is what?"

For the longest time, nothing happened. It was almost as if Extant was considering whether or not to live up to his given Code. Then all of a sudden the roiling dark that surrounded everyone just ... disappeared; and Extant along with it.

A short time later, he appeared inside the van, and just sat down quietly next to Minerva. She'd asked him to behave, after all.

Something shifted beside her and she was woken feeling better. Extant was sitting next to her.

She couldn't really tell but he didn't look pleased.

She glanced back outside and the roof guy came back to her.

Her head dipped into her hands, but since he was here; why did it matter.

She leaned over the seat and instructed the driver to keep going.

The van restarted and the other cars around them followed their lead.

Minerva in a childish whim, drew her knees up to her chin and sighed.

He watched as the van started and he smirked. "I'm not done yet." His eye begins to glow, he lets the van get a good distance before lifting it off the road."Its rude to leave while one is talking." He looks to shura. "Speaking of rude my name is damien" He starts bringing the van back to it original placing."or since you like using your code names you may address me forbidden code reaper." He sets the van down next to him and opens the door with a thought before his nose bleed starts. He chuckles. "You'll have to excuse me still haven't had enough practice with my abilities."

Shura sighed. So he was a Forbidden Code. "You're getting in our way, Damien. We have more important business to tend to." Shura slapped Damien's hand off the van, letting it drive away as he stepped between them. "Looks like I'll have to catch up with them later."

He watches it drive away and smiles. "Oh so we're on a first name basis now shura?" He places his hand on his heart. "I'm flattered, truly i am." He chuckles. "So whats so important that you're speeding across the road."

Thats enough, both of you" Demi let her eyes dart between the two men in front of her. This was rediculous, weren't they supposed to get along with one another? Right now they were supposed to be fighting a common enemy but instead these two made an issue between themselves.

"This is not what we should be doing, It's the shade we are after, not eachother."

He taps his ears. "No i'm not deaf." He taps his head. "You think way to loud. But anyway you're not being specific. What makes it your job to kill shades?" He hears the girls protest and looks to her. "I'm not a tool. I could care less what the shades do."

"I know we aren't tools. Humans don't deserve to die just because we don't particularly like them though," he replied. He glanced at Demi, not quite thinking he could listen to her.

A growled escaped her lips, moving forward she slipped in between the two an aura moving past her to grasp the bodies of her fellow companions "I have had just about enough! Your both acting like idiots. "Damien we see your point of view, But you should see the other side as well" Her Blue eyes flashed over to Shura no hint of her kindness evident.. "As you sit here arguing with an opinion that should not matter to you, People could be dieing"

He runs his hands through his hair."That isn't my concern or problem. I'm free to do as i please now so if the humans need my help they're gonna have to pay up!" His eye starts to smoke as it glows red, suppressed anger slowly rising to the surface. "I will not let them put me away again." His unstable mental state becomes apparent as small flames pop up along his body. "No....." He cools down, his eyes turning back to an ice blue. "Almost lost it there."

"Then dont let them lock you away" Her voice lowered just a bit, not enough to be called normal.

She understood his way of thinking, She didnt want to be locked down either. "Its okay to help them on your terms you know, you dont have to do what they say"
