Futuristic The Codes of Humanity

She was stunned by his amazing hearing. The engine must have been twice as loud as she was. Elle smirked a lil once food was in front of her. Feeling oddly comfortable with Error; not knowing why. She gently loosens her grip before attempting to get off. Not wanting to make things even more awkward. Unfortunately, she didn't know how to get off. The motorcycle was higher than she expected.

Error smiled a bit and lifted her off. He leads her into the diner. "..." He said, saying that it was his treat. He ordered bacon and eggs for the both of them. He then sat on a table and looked out, comitting her touch to his memory.

Elle sought his smile, a smile innately comes back. Walking to the diner and sitting down, observing Error's orders to the employee taking them. How did he know what she'd like? He's not a mind reader..or is he? The smell of food clogs her nose of delightful varieties of possible tastes. Most of all, she wouldn't have experienced it without the code in front of her. Somehow their silence kept her content. The ride there was unlike anything she'd experienced. She..was just maybe..happy. A moment later, her fear of communication kicks in. Hearing various voices bouncing off the diner walls. She had to say something to him, but what? Her stomach started the conversation as it rumbled and roared. Holding her stomach nervously, Elle's cheeks flush a hint of pink.

Shura hovered up, following them into the diner soon after. It looked like there were still quite a few people awake. He did not understand these humans.

Error chuckled, he chuckled for the first time in long long time. "..." He said, telling her to eat. He nudged her plate of food towards her. "I know Heartgaze." He said.

Looking at him, even more embarrassed before taking her first bite of food. Heartgaze. That's truly amazing. No one has ever understood her before yet a fellow code knew exactly what she's been craving to eat. Elle having a tingly feeling inside. She'd never felt such before. Not too long after, butterflies flutter in her stomach. Unfamiliar to any of these feelings, she thought i don't...it must be my hunger cravings. She eats even more, enjoying the taste of food again. She would never take food for granted ever again. Stopping after eating mid-way to glance at Error. "Thank you. For the meal I mean."

"Well, I'd like to think so eventually, yeah." He blinked.

So far, he really didn't see anything wrong with humans. Or at least this human. To say nothing of the fact that she wasn't the one responsible for locking him in the space station for as long as he could remember. In the end, it was something that had happened quite some time ago; and the following generations merely continued on with the practice, allowing it to become societal norm.

Then again, he could just be trusting her too much. Or trusting himself too much.

He blinked again.

"Hey, that file you have on me ... how detailed is it? It get my good side?"

"...Welcome..." Error said. He finished his food, waited for her to finish, and paid for the both of them. He went to the motorcycle and checked on the metal container. He smiled, seeing it was intact. "..." He said, ushering her to hurry as he climbed onto the vehicle.

Understanding whilst she speeds toward him and quickly hops on the motorcycle, content with the meal they've eaten. She must pay him for his kind offer in some way. At the moment, Elle didn't think it was necessary to make a money transaction while in the middle of an invasion. Locking her arms around Error from behind, holding him tightly as before while still holding her tombstone in hand.

Minerva pondered that for a minute.

"Well it has most of what data was collect during your stay at the station," she said "I haven't read through it,"

With a roll of her eyes she went on, "You weren't meant to be there until you crashed through the roof."

She titled her head again, "As for your good side," she turned to look at him. She looked at him up and down quietly, before saying, softer than before.

"It doesn't really mention it all that much."

Demi had stayed silent the entire time she was with Shura, She felt like she needed to be in order to watch everyone around her. She would help when she wanted to, or when her life itself was actually in danger. Bowing her head, Demi closed her eyes as she thought of the situations they were all now in. Although not entirely sure of the group around her she would try not to be as hostile.

The van passes him as he walks along the road, he stops and looks over his shoulder. "Hm?" He looks around, noticing there's to many people for him to do anything out of the ordinary. "He hears a motorbike speeding his way, he walks in the middle of the street waving them down wondering if they'll stop. "Something about that van....." His eyes flicker between ice blue and fire red once as he thinks about it.. "Just really pisses me off." He waits for the motorcyclist to get close enough to see him and hopefully stop.

Elle sensed a stagnant presence in the middle of such a busy road. She looked in front of Error to see a fuzzy figure before them. Feeling the motorcycle advance even closer, she stared at the figure as her vision clears to a man with an eyepatch. He was unlike the humans she's seen last night. Are all humans this random and insane to have stopped in front of a moving vehicle? With Error on the wheel, Elle expected the figure not to challenge him. Examining closer, she recognized that the man also was also a code. Why would he try to stop them out of all situations? "That pedestrian seems to want something from us." she said in a monotone voice. Interested in his purpose for such a move.

Shura followed behind the van but saw Damien trying to flag down Error and Elle. He sped up, coming up beside them. "That's a Code. Not a pedestrian. He didn't seem to keen on trying to stick together earlier. Not sure what he wants now either. Be careful," he says passing them up afterwards.

"Say whaaaaat? No good side?" He grabbed the sides of his face in mock shock. "Guess I'm not trying nearly hard enough, then."

Didn't really surprise him though. To them, he was just a Code.

"But, we can agree there... on that other thing." He continued. "I was just looking for someone to tell me where I was," he chuckled. "Not fall through a ceiling into a room full of Codes." It was interesting how things worked out, really. He'd never seen most of them before in his life; now, after falling from orbit, he'd run into several ... "And so far, I prefer your company, to theirs." He muttered aloud.

A voice rung in her ear as she glanced in Shura's direction, listening to his words then returning back to what's in front of them. Elle lost in her thoughts. She thought to have spoke to Error in the same calm voice as before. Could other codes hear every word that slipped through her lips. Of course, her hearing was beyond the normal hearing range. Never has she seen this code before, yet Shura spoke of him not being as cooperative as the rest. Was this the other voice she heard in that old abandoned building. The very being who caused the shattered glass echoing in her ears? Is he a threat to our goal or just wanted a ride. The closer we got, the more curious Elle was.

Maybe Elle could give him a ride on her orb. With limited energy, Her tombstone was able to levitate on its own. She would be risking possible damage. Why should she trust a strange code she never met before with her tombstone? Her orb was too precious for her to loose. Conflicted with her decision, she only hoped Error would know what to do.

Error gazed at the pedestrian and suddenly lashed out with his umbrella and hooked the person, taking him along for the ride. "Reaper ally" He said simply and continued to ride

He gets hooked and yanked off his feet, his expression not one of surprise but one of an easy going calmness. He smirks as he feels the wind on the back of his neck. He speaks in a friendly tone. "You really know how to sweep a guy off his feet." He chuckles. "Are we at least gonna have dinner first?"

"..." He said, telling him to eat alone because he already ate with the pretty lady. He swerved around the van and put the guy on top of it. "...!" He said, telling him to get comfortable up there.

Minerva was shocked into silence by that.

She sat back in her seat, her head a swirling pool that she didn't understand.

Suddenly there was a strange but loud thud coming from the top of the van.

Minnie fear for the worst. She un clicked her seat belt and scrambled to the window, which she yanked open.

She stuck her head out first, then slowly raised herself up to peek onto the roof.

Her eyes widened and she ducked back into the van, closing the window quickly.

She scooted back into her seat, retreating from the window, and then slumped back again.

"Looks like we have a new guest,"

He grins as he was flung onto to the top of the truck. "Looks like i'm riding first class" He throws himself forward onto the hood of the van, doing a handstand looking at the driver and the passenger, he was there perfectly as if the wind wasn't even affecting him. "Keep your eyes on the road!"

The driver and passenger jumped and slammed down on the brakes.

Minerva, who wasn't strapped in, went flying forwards, hitting the back of the front seats.

She rubbed her head and was about to yell, "What the hell!" When she saw the roof guy on the bonnet of the car.

She could hear the screeches of the other vans halting around her, and she started to fume.

She jerked open the door, and walked over the the Code.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing!" She screamed.

Andy jumped out of a near by van and started running over.

"You okay Chief?" He called.

"Swell. Check on the others." She called without looking.

She glared icily at the man trampling her car.

"Get. Off." She growled between gritted teeth.

After a moment, the Extant appeared outside of the van and sighed.

"Do what the lady says, please. You're being a bother."
