Open-Minded- Janie tends to keep and open mind about all matters outside of herself and her friends. She will never be caught critizing an opinon or way of thinking, she is totally open to all ideas and types of people.

Catholic- Jane is and always has been committed to the catholic church. While she hardly ever had time to attend Sunday mass, she is still very devout in her beliefs and follows closely to biblical standards.


History


Jane was raised on a large farm with her Dad, Uncle, and older cousin. She lived a quiet life with hardly any disturbances.


Her Sophmore year of highschool, she was returning from a trip to Italy with her cousin when she got the call from her uncle informing her that her father had fallen ill. Liver cancer had been living inside him for months before the doctor finally caught it, and by the time they did it was too late, and Jane lost her only parent, since her mom had passed away only hours after Jane's birth. Depression sunk into her, preventing her from wanting to do anything or even eat. Her Uncle ended up pulling her out of public school and putting her in home school since she could hardly even leave the house most days.


One day, Jane arrived home from a horse ride to find a present box knocked over on her bed, along with a trail of trash leading to under her bed. When she peeked under to locate whatever it was making the mess, a small puppy's head peeked out from under the bed skirt. This little puppy was a gift from her uncle, whom had been trying to find a way to make her smile at least a little bit since her dad passed. It worked, Jane gained a new companion and a reason to get out of bed in the morning.


She named the dog JuneBug, and began to train the dog immediately. The dog was a quick learner, and quickly rose up to be one of the smartest dogs in America. From simple obidience to flyball, JuneBug learned it all and exceled at it. Jane went of after highschool to attend a prestigous dog training school, where she learned more ways to train June. After the program ended, Jane came home and purchased another dog. This one she named Acey, and he tested her training abilities in every way. While JuneBug starred on televisions sets as the prized family pet, Acey chewed on furniture and refused to be leashed. 


It took a lot longer than it had with June, but soon Acey was at the top too. It was because of all this that Jane gained publicity as a professional dog trainer. 


The Dogs

JuneBug came from a long line of championship blood, and did not disappoint. She is known across America to be one of the top 10 smartest dogs world wide, and has been on televison numerous times. June has a steady temperment and has never shown agressiveness towards anyone. She is very easy to train and never forgets a lesson.


Acey

Acey also came from a championship bloodline, however he has his own ideas and motivations when it comes to training. He has placed in the top 20 smartest dogs, but has never been televised like June. He has a tendancy to get bored very quickly unless you offer him something that he can't resist.  While he is a good dog, he can be agressive at times, especially towards those he deems threatening.

**Jane does not know how she has survived so long. Sometime after the first three months of scavenging she lost her sense of purpose. Most of her days are spent wandering aimlessly while her dogs fight the hardest battles for her. Her prized show dogs are now agressive mongrels with no sense of remorse for anyone who comes near. While Jane is constantly out of it, she is dangerous. Her constant state of disassociation has caused her to do things she would otherwise frown upon.*

Name: Oliver Riddle (Often called Oli, Liv or Livy)


Age: 7


Gender: Male


Appearance: Oliver is a small boy of only 38 inches tall and weighing only 30 pounds. He looks more like a five year old then a seven year old. He always seems to be dressed a bit formally, in worn out little black suits and black bowler hats. It almost looks as though he were headed to a Victorian funeral. He has big blue eyes, which give him an innocent appearance.





Personality/History: Oliver is a quiet, innocent seeming little boy, but the more one gets to know him the more they realize that he is in fact very troubled. For starters, he has a strange habit of watching people sleep from the corners of rooms instead of sleeping himself. Actually, it seems that he never sleeps, instead staying up until he literally faints. He refuses to eat most of the time, and seems to have a nervous stomach, often vomiting when too stressed or upset. Despite all this, he's managed to survive  on his own for quite some time miraculously. When his parents were killed by the dead, he was the only one to escape by hiding in the trees. Since then he's been getting by eating fresh corpses and the few edible plants he knows, sheltering in the forest at night. Who would have thought a sickly, troubled little boy could make it almost a year on his own? Perhaps he's been helped by unknown beings. Is there something he's seeing that others can't?


Equipment: Nothing except his clothes and a knife.


Skills: Liv, being as tiny as he is, is an expert sneak. He's very good at hiding and picking pockets and even knows how to pick locks.


Other: He seems to have some breathing problems occasionally, and suffers from chronic nightmares.

Personality/History:


Before the outbreak, Conrad had a cushy job as a computer technician, happily spending his days fixing various laptops and desktops. When things got bad, he grabbed his bug-out bag and drove as far away from the big city as he could. For a while, he was able to keep a low profile and live self-sufficiently in a makeshift underground bunker in the forest - but eventually, the undead found their way further and further out. Conrad knew he couldn't survive alone, so he went searching for fellow survivors. Together, they fortified a rundown cabin to the best of their ability.

Quiet, kind, serious, chivalrous.


He was a Ranger in the Army during the outbreak, and decided to stay near military bases after the government fell. He found a cache of weapons and supplies that had not yet ben raided, and he barricaded himself in. He never goes out in the day unless he finds someone that is in need of help. With his nightly excursions, he eliminates walkers around his compound and searches for other survivors.


He is a die-hard Christian, and Heterosexual.

Name: Elijah Manuel

Appearance:  Image attached (yes, ik this isn't a "real" picture, but it does fill the "no anime" criteria xD. Obviously not what he's currently wearing.) 


History: Elijah was a sportsman and author, who was researching for a book on life "away from society," and was near the woods when the "survivor group" formed. He received a call over his satellite phone on the day he was preparing to go back to his home in the city after spending several months out here. It was, to his surprise, his agent, warning him to stay away from society, telling him about all that had happened. Naturally, at first Elijah didn't believe him, hanging up on the agent and setting out to leave, but that was when he saw several military helicopters pass over his location. This made him a bit more on edge, and he tried to call his agent back. It didn't work, so he decided to stay in the woods for a few days, to be safe. Low and behold, he eventually encountered a walker. He's continued his time in the woods, never staying in one place long, continually moving. 


Personality:

-While friendly, he rarely gives anyone the slightest bit of trust.


-Can be manipulative


-Intelligent


-"Code of Honor," meaning he has a duty, above all else, to help other survivors, and to continue telling stories and carrying on the arts even though society is falling apart. If he finds any copies of classic books, he feels the immediate need to rescue them. While this weighs him down slightly, he doesn't mind.

-Fair shot with a revolver, though very out of practice (while he was very experienced with guns before the events of the apocalypse, it has been almost a year now since he "left society," and he's only had to use the revolver a few times.)

-Storyteller (while not that much of a skill, stories are great escapism in the apocalypse.
