"Go along kids, you know where everythin this. Alex keep then out of trouble," Bailey said, the kids running off past the guard. "Ah, yes, thank you," She said with a smile. She had met him a few times before but his name always slipped her mind. "I'm sorry, but I've forgotten your name again. So please, introduce yourself to everyone." She didn't want to be rude, but still. That's when she noticed the servant woman. She had to cold her eyebrow, but the councilman could handle himself.

"Oh no, I'm fine," The man said, waving the succubus off. Being asexual had it's advantages. She would have to try with someone else. Anyway, no that everyone was through the portal, the two other councilmen stepped through, the portal closing.

"Alright, I'd like for everyone to-" Bailey started, before someone shouted.

"Incomming!" It was another male voice, which caused Bailey to smile. Because for one, it was her brothers voice. And second, the Queen was running towards them. She looked elated, a grin plastered in her face. And of course, the firsg person she wdnt up to was Arabelle.

"Oh my god, I don't believe Bailey actually brought you with her, this is so cool, I'm such a huge fan, like really, you're so amazing it's just, this is the coolest thing ever, can I hug you? Arabelle smiled brightly at the Queen. She bowed to her deeply. “I’m incredibly flattered, Your Highness. If you want to hug me you can,” she said with a laugh.

Arabelle chose to ignore Avery and took Ari’s arm. She kissed his cheek and looked around, in awe. “Ari, this place is beautiful,” she murmured softly. “I forgot how…vibrant, the world is. So many colors and textures,” she said, smiling. She hadn’t seen the world for seven years, she had almost forgotten what it looked like. She just made patterns in her head so she knew where to go, but color, texture, that was all gone.

Chloe looked around excitedly. "It really is beautiful, isn't it master?" She exclaimed, agreeing with Arabelle. Ari was about to respond to Arabelle when the queen ran up to them and clambered all over Arabelle. With a respectful bow, Ari moved off to the side. Chloe looked mystified at the display. "Do Queens really act like this, master?" She asked, looking up at Ari.
Ari pet her, taking in her purrs. "Doubtful, Chloe. She is to Arabelle as Avery is to me. Still, she's a queen, so we should respect her no matter what, ok?"
She nodded and smiled up at Ari. "Of course! Anything for you, master!"

Ari smelled a familiar smell. It didn't bode well for a supposedly civilized place like a castle. "Magic and Blood........" He walked over to Bailey and spoke in a low voice. "The smell of blood is overwhelming. Is it normal or does someone need to die?"

The feeling Ari gave off magically was one of a lily. It smelled nice, but anyone who's seen death a lot knew that lilies were common of funerals. This was a facet of his learning from Avery. Emotional manipulation in order to send a warning

"Huge fan." Quinn mimicked the queen, poking their head over Arabelle's shoulder to look at her. The shadow child smiled and waved to the queen. Quinn continued to cling to Arabelle's back. He twitches slightly as he noticed the scent grow stronger behind him. Glancing over his shoulder before glaring at the 'ghost' with the scythe. His hand twitching for a moment as he then turns back to the group. Simply standing as he waits for everyone to be caught up now. Remaining silent for now as he realized he had already spoken out a few times.

He tensed as he heard the scream echo down the hall. Turning to the source as he drew his spear. Starting to walk down the corridor as he eventually noticed the body of the servant. Growling to himself as he glanced over at the families, before walking over looking for any sign of what could have caused the death as his body was shaking slightly. Something didn't seem right to him about it and he had his doubts.

With the echoing of the scream, thunderous foot steps of at least a two dozen guards could be heard drawing near. Upon the recovery of the body, the available guards spread out in order to search for the suscpious parties. Some started checking the near by rooms, others began to search the halls. A small hrouopnof three went to the kitchen, near by the murder scene. "You there, servant girl!" One boomed to the woman working, "Did you see anything strange?" Upon a closer look however, another one stepped up, whispering to the one obviously in charge. "Eh, I know all of the castle girlies, and I ain't never seen her before." Kallo Scarlett-Wulf

"Hmmm, no. This is odd," Bailey replied, burrowing her brows. "Somethings here, something dangerous." Well, obviously. But the scent and overwhelming aura passed fairly quickly, allowing Bailey's attention to turn to Anora. Who was hugging Arabelle. "Your highness, I would have the guards increase their rounds, have everyone, no, the servants, do hourly check ins."

"Can I ask why? I will, but I'd still like an explanation."

"Just a hunch." She wasn't sure, but that woman from earlier tried to use something on the councilman, a spell. It was rather subtle, but, Bailey was very observant. The Queen of course, already figuring out that was the best answer she'd get. Looking up at Arabelle, she finally ended the hug, and took a step back.

"I'll go and tell have them do what you've asked. Councilmen, please escort Madame Bailey and Her guest to her wing so they can prepare for the ball," The queen said, giving everyone a slight bow, "I will talk to you all later." And with that, Anora turned on her heel to leave the way she came in a few minutes earlier.

Bailey looked at everyone else, "Remain vigilant." She wasn't sure if whoever it was that had caused the disturbance earlier was done yet or not, but reguardless, they couldn't stop everything just because of a magical disturbance, but they should all know this pr9bably wasn't over.

"If you will follow us then," The councilman said, turning to go in the opposite direction of the queen, "We don't have all day now do we?"

Arabelle hugged the Queen back gently while still listening to the conversation. She bowed to the Queen and then gathered her children into her arms. “Come on kiddos, let’s go.” She held Willow in one arm and Ryan in the other, with Quinn still on her back. She followed the councilmen but stayed behind Bailey, since she didn’t want to get too close to them after they had been so rude. She was still a little shocked at how much Queen Anora admired her, she hadn’t expected it at all. Even with Bailey’s warnings, it all just seemed so over the top.

He would still be searching around for a fair bit of time. His arm twitching as he growls to himself. Having seen the guards run off in search of the kitchen. Looking around quickly as he tensed for a moment. Growling now as he ran for the entrance of the building. Making sure the guards where aware to keep an eye on anyone who could come and go. As he then starts running back for the group. Sighing as he was glad once again to be so lightly armored.

The two guards looked at each other, before back at the woman infront if them. The third who had come in with them, had stepped back into the hall. And for good reason, the doors now had faint golden barriers. "Who's the one in charge of you? Newbies get put into the night rotation, you shouldn't even be working yet." The two guards were not impressed by her act, obviously there was something going on here. Sure, it was convincing, but her words were just...odd. They told her what happened, and she first answered their question about it, then asked what happened. Then she just....the guards knew when something fishy was going on. Scarlett-Wulf

Ari followed them out. The smell of blood still lingered in his nose and he could still sense the residue of it. He promised Bailey to stay his hand and was disappointed that he couldn't do anything right now. He sighed as he kept moving. Chloe addressed the blood smell that was in the air before it disappeared. The smell made her cover her nose
"Did you smell that, master?"
"Yup. I can't kill them though. It'll be rude"
"Well...... I'll protect you no matter what."
Ari smiled. "You and Misty....... I fail to see how any of you have put up with me."
Chloe looked confused. "All I know is how nice you've been."
Misty appeared on his shoulder. "Because you're the best master, even though you're strict."

Ari was about to respond when he passed by the room where someone threatened the guards. This was the assassin. He walked in the room and drew his blade. "So you're the rookie assassin who can't conceal their presence and can't trick a couple of weak minds. Let me tell you, I'm the Black Assassin. If you haven't heard of me, you haven't done your research before coming here......." a demonic visage appeared behind him when he smiled. "I'll give you one and only one chance to give up or I'll show you an assassination in plain view." The queen probably didn't like Ari, but him killing an intruder assassin would likely win her over

He would eventually run back towards the group. Managing to find them at the kitchen. Though tensing and pausing as he noticed the 'rookie' assassin and one of the guests. Debating on if he should pull his spear or not until he noticed the scythe. Growling as his eyes glowed again for a moment. Before glossing over slightly. Pulling the spear out as he crouched slightly. Spear in hand as he tensed preparing to jump and lunge should the need arise.

The guards looked at each other, before laughing. "Please. You aren't the first demonic bitch we've faced, you won't be the last." From the halls, the thunderous footsteps of hundreds of other guards flooded into the kitchen and surrounding rooms. And, with Ari's appearance, Bailey was right behind him.

"I would listen to the man, he's actually got skill," Bailey chimed in. Seemingly unarmed, so maybe agonising the woman with scythe. But, maybe, they shouldn't underestimate her, Bailey normally had a plan. This was not one of those times, and she, while very calm on the outside, was very much trying to quickly think of one for any of the various situations that could play out.

“You know they say animals are more dangerous when cornered, even with the hero here do you really think she could keep me from killing most of you before I go down?” Alexandra rest her scythe on her choulder as the blade started to glow red “so who is first?” She asked curiously, the spell finishing, she had been stalling a bit due to how long it took to cast. “Too bad the cute one isn’t here, I would’ve put a real smile on his face before he died” laughing as she spun the scythe around her neck, taking her hand off it just long enough to name the spell “crimson dervish!” She yelled releasing a volley of crimson red energy from the scythe’s blade, the energy slicing through tables and stone beams as if they were paper. The attack going out in 180 degree spread as she dashed backwards, aiming to go out a nearby window so she could have more room to move. “I’ve heard of you, which is why I’m keeping my distance from you!”

Ari didn't have to be a psychic to sense the magic buildup. Being as good a mage as he was, he could sense magic with ease. When she yelled Crimson, Chloe jumped out of Ari's arms in front of all of them. "Protect!" She yelled. When Dervish came, it bounced uselessly off Chloe's barrier

Alexandra was caught in mid air, turned around and pulled back as Ari dashed forward. He had used Telekinesis to catch her and pull her right back to his hand that slammed into her throat and slammed her into a wall. "My children, my wife, my best friend, and my best friend's wife are all here." He squeezed her throat with both his hand and with Telekinesis. She was only seconds away from her throat being crushed. Either she give up, pull off a hat trick, convince him to let her live, or die. He gave her an evil dark look as he choked her. "You give assassins a bad name."

"She tried to kill that asshole councilman. Every single person in this room would've just died from that attack, including you, the High Prophet. You don't have to admit it, but this is a national security protection killing at minimum." Ari said, on the verge of killing her. He let her go though, and stood up, sheathing his sword with a huff.
"You're welcome anyways. Come Chloe." She jumped into Ari's arms. "Nice work in your shield." He said.
"Only for your protection, master." She said with a sparkling cute smile, happy for the praise she just got.

He looked back at Bailey and the guards. "Where are we staying?"

Quinn wanted to make sure Arabelle wouldn't wind up in any kind of danger, so they had used their dark magic to watch all the commotion using the people's shadows. A pair of glowing white orbs hid for the most part until the slash attack the assassin threw out knocked over a container that were hiding the eyes. When all the fighting was over Quinn continued watching for just a moment before deciding it was safe to take their eyes off the assassin. "The assassin is subdued, her guard is lowered, what do you want to do with her?" They asked Arabelle, opening their eyes and ending the spell. "Bailey doesn't want Ari to kill her because it might look bad. But if I do it no one will care." They suggested.

Me and Tyr have the biggest room of course, but the rest are all quiet big as well, so it's not that big of a deal." Speaking of her husband, she looked around the group, and found her husband. Tyr smiled, and squeezed her hand lovingly. "It does, doesn't it? I mean, I've always been a fan of the color." He said, very obviously in love with his new shirt. For as macho as the bard seemed, he enjoyed pampering himself from time to time. And he was easily able to do this since he had made quite a few elven friends. He even found a few people to play his music with. And this is where he found his new favorite toy:

Sure, it looked strange, but really, it was a phenomenal instrument. It gave of a different sound than a regular guitar, but it was so smooth at yimes, that Tyr couldn't help but start to play free bird in the middle of his songs. It was a mana powered guitar, and Tyr loved it.

Chloe and Misty rested on Ari's shoulder as he fell in behind them. "Oi, Arabelle, let's go ahead and get settled in our room. I have to get Selra acquainted with magic later then prepare for the bullshit ball." Ari absolutely hated nobles and he had to be there with them all later on pretending he have a damn about whatever aristocratic affairs that were to be.

Walking into the room, he put on his garments and looked into the mirror. He had a bit of a tan due to all that time in the sun the past 7 years, but it was mostly uneven. He decided to change his appearance to look the part a bit more and make his tan even across his entire body, courtesy of Avery's teachings



He looked like a noble, and he hated it, but that was a necessary evil.

“You look so handsome, Ari,” she said with a small smile. She took his hands and kissed him gently, hugging him tightly. “I love you so much.” She was speaking quietly, it was obvious her confidence was shaken from what the noble said before. She looked down at her wool dress. “Do I really look like a slave?” She sounded kinda sad.
