Fantasy The Books of Magic

Hana facepalmed at the boys' antics. She flipped through her Book to see if there was anything that she could use to bring them back, and sure enough, there was.


Anchor. That incantation would bring the three boys back to the island. They didn't need to fight, and the new guy needed explanations.

Zenocles was baffled when the dragon-boy landed near him. He almost began to pull his book out, despite being weary from his previous uses and not even knowing if he had enough stamina to use the book, when the boy apologized. Heck, he even offered to give Zenocles a lift to the others! Not being one to hold a grudge, especially due to a misunderstanding, he agreed. "Don't worry about it. You seem like you just want to do the right thing, and I can't argue with that. Just make sure you listen a bit more next time, yeah?" he said with a smile. Then, waving his hand, he continued, "Anyway, let's let bygones be bygones. Like I said, my names Zenocles. It's nice to meet you. I would love a lift to the others." He finished and looked again at the boy, taking down his barrier and waiting to be taken to the others.

Hana looked at the new person. "Hello," she said. "Would you like to tell us a little about your Book of magic?" 
"Sir, are you listening to me?"


Hana was a bit annoyed by the others' silence. She liked it when things got done.
 
"Sorry, I was a bit dazed from my flight, and the simple fact that there are others like me, although I have suspected it for quite some time now, is slighly bewildering." he replied apologetically to the girl who'd spoken to him. "My name is Zenocles. It's a pleasure to meet you..." he trailed off meaningfully, hoping the girl would catch on and introduce herself. Before she did, however, he decided to reply to question. "As for my book... I call it the Book of Imagination. It gives me two powers, All Fiction and Non Fiction. Using them, I can make or erase anything from existence. Simply put, I have control over nothing and anything." He smiled wryly. "From what I can tell, it is one of the most powerful books I've encountered so far, maybe even the most powerful one of all. The only problem is, I can only use it a few times before needing to rest. Any more and..." Although he didn't elaborate further, his intimation was clear. After clearing his throat after the awkward silence, he asked, "So, what does your book do?" This question wasn't aimed at the girl in particular, but at anyone ine the group, at large, who'd overheard his question.
 
"Enough with the dumb questions that have been answered a million times. Could we move on to the issue of what we do now? We were all at that cafe and the same time. We were brought together for a reason. I say we form a coven or something so we can keep in contact in case of anymore unusual concepts make themselves known. Other than that we go about our daily lives." Natsu exclaimed.


(OOC: I think know should be the moment when inborn wizards or magical beast swarm he island and try to kill us.)

[OOC: They don't know about us quite yet. The way we're carrying on, though, I'm pretty sure that won't last long.]
 
Alex lit up. "Sounds pretty cool. Do we just exchange numbers or email addresses or something?"she looked at Natsu. "Is this going to be a group with a ranking system or something." She was overthinking and getting a little ahead of herself. It would definitely be cool to hang around other magic users.

Lucente wandered around the island. One moment he was in the library the next he was in an island. "Hello? Anybody here?" He shouted as he kept walking. He soon wandered into an area with people in it. "Hello? Does anyone know this place?" He asked as he subtly reached for his book in case of hostile action.

"Agghh more people more explaining, dang i!" Natsu sighed as he someone approach and call out. Natsu punched a boulder with his dragonized fist reducing it to small pebbles. Natsu said to the newcomer "I'll give you the short version. You came here because you have a magic book and so do we. Each of us has a different type of magic and by the way ask about that some other time. We're not hostiles and are currently discussingabout forming a coven in case of other strange happenings."
 
Hana nodded.


"I, for one, think it is a good idea. I've never found any magical trouble yet, but I've read some things in my Book, so that doesn't mean that there is no trouble. Also, I think it would be good just to hang together."


Hana needed more friends in her life.
 
"There it's decided, okay everyone take a piece of paper and put some sort of contact info be it an email or cellphone number." Rex pulled out a piece of paper and handed one to each person. He continued "Okay my baby dragon here will collect all the papers and i'll be in charge of making sure everyone get's everyone's' contact info." Rex walked over to Hana and said "Remember we go to the same school and right now school starts in 10 hours so we gotta speed this up." He then said a little louder "I vote for Hana to be club president as i'm to lazy to take on such a responsibility."
 
Alex grinned widely. "Sounds like a plan to me! Plus, I'm not really around there anymore that much, but I guess I can re-enroll." she jotted down her and handed it to the baby dragon. "So do we at least get to celebrate or something...10 hours is a long time from now, and we are on a secluded island. I mean someone, might have to poof to and fro to get a few things, but this definitely seems like a moment for celebration." Alex was feeling really giddy about having a club full of other magic users.
 
Hana was quite surprised at Natsu's declaration. She, herself, had not really considered that. To take her mind away from what she hadn't expected, she turned it to Alex's suggestion. "Yes, a party would be wonderful," she said with a smile.
 
Alex clapped excitedly. "Alright then...now where is our teleporting companion, because we are out in the middle of nowhere, and somebody has to go get us party stuff." She looked around for the guy that brought them all here. "Or anyone who can create anything...," she thought to herself, "do you think eating and drinking stuff that was created using magic will taste differently?" She was talking rapid fire because she was excited about their first party as a group. "Well anyway, we need someone who can make this island a party island to do so...anybody?" she looked at the group.
 
"Well i could fly two people at a time to the nearst city for party supplies." Natsu said. He summoned his dragon wings once more.


(Do we still include those who haven't post in a while. I think we should give them 72 hours that's 3 days before they're cut out. They've been holding the rp up for three weeks now.)
 
Tom immediately teleported down to the group. "I will gladly get the supplies, no need to fly aimlessly, the nearest town is..." Tom then blinked and tapped his foot. "400,500 miles, I doubt you can do that quickly. Let me go home and grab the supplies." He then winked at the dragon guy and teleported to his place, quickly grabbing his emergency credit card, and fighting his way through his map littered floor. Opening the jammed down and running to the supermarket.


(sorry I didn't post in a while I kinda was waiting for something to happen. Tom has no contact info, and will never go to school again so.... Problem there)
 
Alex taps her foot on the sand. "Well now that the supplies will be handled, I guess we could try to make things interesting," she wasn't sure how receptive they would be to the idea, "We could have ourselves a little Magic Battle Royal," she looks at those closest to her, "just to kind of get a feel for where we each are and how much more we need to study. Honestly, I just want to see if I'm capable to be in a group like this," her voice was sincere but she still had a smile on her face, "Obviously we're not out to kill each other though. Friendly magical horseplay...any takers?"
 
."I like that idea. Though i can't promise about the killing part. I may accidentally kill someone. Nah i'm kiddin." Natsu said assuming full dragon form. He beckoned to his first taker. But then said "We should move a bit over for this." So he flew and landed hundred yards from the other area. He unleashed a fire breath to signal his position for the battle.
 
Alex flipped to a page in her book and after a flash of black light she now had dragon-scales on her arms and legs, dragon wings, and long tail, and after seeing the fire signal, she flew off in that direction. "Figured I'd go with something suitable for fighting with you, although you seem pretty accustomed to that power," she smirked as she landed about 50 yards from where he landed, "Guess I'll get to see what I'm good at...don't go too easy on me now." She took a fighting stance as her tail danced back and forth behind her.
 
"That was your first mistake." Natsu said. He punched the ground causing into to shake and cracked. He let off a fire breath at Alex. He flew up landed behind her and aimed to grab her tail. He would swing her around and then punch her into the ground.
 
The rumbling of the ground threw her off balance and as the fire came she jumped back, and that's when she realized her mistake. She didn't so much see him land behind her more than she felt him land there, and before she had a chance to respond she was being spun around. 'This isn't good...not good at all' she thought as she saw what was coming next. She had no choice but to either try to block the oncoming blow or hope to evade it, instead she attempted to intercept it, and as she was about to be driven into the ground, she threw her own punch to the inside of his in hopes of blowing his fist off course. 'Damn this guy is strong' she thought as she prayed her fist would make in time.
 
Tom appeared on the island dropping all his part equipment, as he saw the fighting he immediately got involved and teleported on the dragon-boy's head. He then grabbed the horns and prepared for the ride of his life. "Oh yeah, party has started!!"
 
Natsu's fist was indeed stopped by Alex. Natsu dropped back a fair distance. That's when Porter boy was on his horns but he wasn't exactly moving Natsu. Natsu did get a distracted wondering what Porter was up to and decided he's no problem for now. He called to Alex "You're getting more accustomed to that form. You did stop my punch afterall. But this battle is not over. Let's see how you do high up." Natsu flapped his wings flying up into the clouds which would dose Porter in cloud water. Natsu held his position inna solid stance.
 
Alex sighed in relief as she wasn't pummeled into the ground, and flipped to her feet after Natsu backed off a bit. She almost burst into laughter when Porter showed back up and began to ride his head like a bull. She expected Natsu to call it quits and for them to head back to the party, but instead he jetted up into the clouds after challenging her to air combat. "Don't just think that you're king of the sky!" she yelled as she flapped her wings and took off into the air after him. She knew her fire wasn't going to be anywhere as potent as his but she still fired three fireballs at him as she ascended.
