Thanks for the replies. I'll post either Friday or early Saturday morning and get the caravan moving. But with Christmas next week and New Year's coming after that, I'm expecting another slow down, but at least I know some of you are still into this.
This isn't a writer's critique group. As long as the post is coherent and moves the scene forward in a meaningful way, I don't care how pretty it is. My biggest weakness is my inability to write a short post. I try to "write well" to keep them palatable, because no one wants to read through 1000+ words of "noun verb noun verb noun verb noun verb noun verb verb verb adverb full stop." (<I had to end with some action, in case the audience was starting to fall asleep, lol)
Thanks for the compliment and I'm very sorry to hear that. I've kind of been in the same rut myself for the last few weeks. It can really suck the motivation out of you. The door is open if you ever decide to jump back in. I'll try to keep Syvill around, even if its just an occasional mention of his presence once in a while, and if you decide to rejoin and need a synopsis or something to get up to speed, don't hesitate to ask.My apologies for the lack of updates. Actually, your posts have been very good. Elayne's personality has a distinct flavor of noble arrogance that I find entertaining. I almost went that route with Cephilia but was too much of a coward to follow through... although she does kind of do it in her thoughts sometimes, but never spoken aloud. It's the same reason I'm gonna miss Syvill; he was so unapologetically himself.

Well, I finally posted. It's kind of a weak one, IMO, but It'll do. After over a week of writer's block, I'm back and my New Year's resolution is to write more. (I might even join another RP. I have the time, I just keep getting distracted by other hobbies and time sinks.) The less I write, the harder it gets, so I gotta do it each day. Maybe I'll get back to that CS for the avian knight and his squire I started a month ago. Stuff like that usually helps me get my head in the game. And it's fun.
