Bren smiled at her as he poured her a drink. "Maybe that's the point. Maybe I want to see it all." He told her as he leaned over to kiss her. "Are you trying to say I can't cook?" He asked her in a teasing way. "I'll have you know I helped cook at my father's bar growing up." He told her with a proud little smile. Kaia smiled up at him. "I think you are." she told him as they walked into the place. "What?" She asked curiously watching him. Vera giggled and sighed. "That's because I look like dad. Mom says that my one brown eye is the only thing I got from her. Mom is tan with blonde hair and brown eyes. Uncle Avery and Kal both have brown hair and gray eyes and aren't quite as tan as mom. Uncle Cedric, from pictures I've seen, is fair haired and skinned with gray eyes. And Aunt Ama looks like mom but only with brown hair." She said with a sigh wondering what their parents must have been like.


Sitka jumped from his bed to run and hug her. Seeing Ulric he stuck his tongue out and huffed. "No sis.. you can't have a guy friend. He'll take you away and then you wont have time for me." He whined to her a little. Ulric tried to hide his amusement. Her brother was quite different then he had been expecting. Adak gave a nod. "Yes for the most part. We are close to our cousins too. Though my Uncle Caliborn only has three children and my Aunt Valkyrie has two." He told her with a sigh. "Both Shea and Kaia are older then me. Kaia only by a few month though."

Pearl chuckled"you cant bren..sorry"she teased she gave a quiet sigh"hey maybe.. we should invite pride and illya.. and mason and dolly..and go to a amusement park..of course..with illya..being like she is we will just ride around on the trains all day and shop and eat "she said smiling"oh did you?"she asked smiling. Styx sighed" meatball..in a sub"he said chuckling lightly "what do you think to bad theirs no decent mashed potatoes ..and gravy around here"he said frowning , Dark nodded lightly"strange isnt it?"he asked sighing "..dad..got a really bad temper.. and he lets some kids do what they want then he fusses over the small things"he said snickeirng"ever notice that?"he asked


Melinda suddenly giggled lightly"..No stika thats not how it works..were still family..and im stuck with family..so i have to come see you and hug you"she said smiling before hugging him she sighed lightly " well hes not exactly a guyfriend..its more of a boyfriend..sitka"she said sighing. Katie nodded lightly "sounds nice"she said smiling "your mom must have really been popping out kids..you know "she said blinking lightly not sure what to think of that"id probably only do well with one or two"she said truthfully.

Bren smiled at her and sighed. "One day I will see it all." He told Pearl with a mischievous look on his face. "I'm sure that would be fun and I don't think Illya would mind if people went on big rides without her. She's never been able to ride them because of her heart." He sighed feeling bad for his sister. Kaia giggled hearing what he had to say. "I'll go with turkey or tuna. I'm kind of messy." she admitted with a slight blush. Vera giggled knowing he was right. "Dad is fun though. He's the one that teaches us. Mom keeps trying to talk him into teaching the other kids too. She says we need a school." She sighed wondering what her father had done before he died.


Sitka bit Ulric's hand lightly. "That's much worse! Then you two will get married!" He pouted holding onto her and looking up into her eyes. Ulric shook his head and sighed. "I got to say he's adorable." He told Melinda with a sigh. Adak looked at Katie and shook his head. "Not really. Dolly was adopted before I was conceived. Her birth father had been working for dad but when he died dad took her in and him and mom adopted her. Then I was born and then Melinda. Sitka is the baby and I really mean it. Mom wont leave him go."

Pearl frowned lightly "..i kow but i always feel bad and you know that"she said sighing lightly looking at bren 'oh will you after were married maybe"she said smiling at him she gave a happy sigh before eating"so your brother he dropped his night classes.'she said sighing looking at bren , Styx nodded looking at Kaia"ah i see"he said smiling"i like fish..taste better then turkey"he said nodding his head "so my faveriotre animal is a sea turtle "he said smiling. Dark frowned lightly"a school yes..i think you do..and she does does she..why dosent he give in on that?"he asked blinking slightly surpuised by it "i wouldnt be surpuised if he was one before he died.."he said frowning.


Melinda nodded "i know sitka is..although mom wont let him leave so he might not get married..."she said tyring not to laugh"sitka..yes we might get married in the future..im eventually going to have to leave but i will come back okay?"she asked smiling.Katie giggled lightly"i see.."she said smiling before looking at adak and kissing him deeply for a minute"how was that?"she asked with a teasing smile she gave him a slight teasing look .

Bren looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "It's not good to tease a man to much, love. Once we are married you wont be able to keep me from seeing all of you. Maybe I'll just start spying on you? Or I'll just have to steal all your clothing." He warned her with a teasing smile, though it was something he would actually do give the right motivation. "Yeah, I think he's finally realizing that by focusing so much on classes he's been missing out on other things. Like his relationship with people.. mainly Dolly." Kaia smiled at him and sighed. "I don't eat red meat and I don't care much for turkey or chicken either. I prefer fish honestly." She told him as she ordered her food. "I don't have a favorite animal. I like them all!" She beamed. It was in her nature to have a great love for the earth and all it's many critters. Vera gave a nod and sighed, "Mom thinks he's worried that some people will refuse to let him teach their children due to past relationships with him. Mom thinks we've grown as a family and people are able to look passed the past for the better of their children." She explained with a sigh. "I think if maybe someone showed him that Uncle Samuel and Kip would be okay with it.. then maybe he would agree. I think we can all agree that it's best he finds something he enjoys doing to keep him busy." She giggled thinking about what her father was like when he was bored.


Sitka still wasn't sure about his sister dating but he would suck it up. "Maybe it'll be okay if he brings me goodies like Mason does. Mason always brings me toys or candy." He told her being very stubborn. "Is your guy friend going to bring me stuff?" He knew he was spoiled but he wasn't the sort to be super bratty about it. Ulric couldn't help but chuckled listening to her brother. "Sure I'll have my mother send me some candy from back home. I'm sure you'll love it. However, I don't know much about toys." Adak was shocked by her sudden and deep kiss. So shocked that he was speechless and his face had turned a bright shade of red. He could hear his grandfather chuckling, but even though it irritated him he was in no state to do anything about it. Caliber laughed seeing Adak's reaction, "Oh my, Aleu. I think Katie broke him." He joked feeling happy that someone could stir more then just his negative emotions in him.

Pearl eyed him "oh will you i dont think so..."she said before sighing"..so..why do you want to see.. me so badly" she said blushing from head to toe she gave a quiet sigh "you think he does...?"she asked frowning"i was watching him earlier... and he seemed somewhat worried earlier about something"she said frowning lightly. Styx sighed "id love to stay i loved all animals but id be lying..i hate snakes and spiders"he said frowning lightly he gave a quiet sigh watching Kaia "..some people can be cruel if you dont fit in ..or look right"he said frowning. Dark chuckled lightly"he tinker with things then they break or he gets in trouble"he said frowning he gave a quiet sigh "dad.. kinda odd aint he?"he asked blinking walking he had never thought of it.


Melinda giggled "hes a prince sitka ..he cant get you whatever you want"she said giggling she gave a quiet sigh before looking at ulric "my other brother is just grumpy"she said smiling she gave a quiet sigh before watching stika"please dont grow up":she said sighing.Katie giggled hearing aleu and caliber "whats wrong adak?"she asked smiling she gave a happy sigh watching him"you doing okay?"she asked watching him making sure he wasnt going to explode

Bren smiled at Pearl and sighed. "Because I want every part of you. Plus you've already saw all of me, so it would only be fair. Remember two years ago when Pride stole my swimming shorts trying to embarrass me?" He asked her with a smile. "You walked in on me trying to sneak back to the changing room." He still remembered her face from that day. "You think something is bothering Mason?" He asked a little worried about his brother. Kaia gave a nod and smiled. "I don't mind spiders or snakes.. and people can be mean, but I just ignore them cause mama always told me that the ones that are mean are really the ones hurting inside." She told him as she finished her drink and watched him. Vera gave a nod trying not to laugh. "Yeah mom sometimes gets mad when he breaks things and calls him by his real name. It's always funny cause that's when he 'goes to visit' people. It's really him just hiding from her." She told her brother with a sigh.


Sitka gave a nod but he still wasn't so sure about Ulric yet, however he wasn't going to interfere with his sister's relationship unless she asked him to. Ulric gave a nod. "Is he really as bad as you make him sound?" He asked wondering about her other brother. "You also have a sister right?" Caliber grumbled and sighed. "I just didn't expect something like that from you.." He told her trying not to get any more flustered. "How about milkshakes?" He asked trying to get away from the topic.

Pearl sighed "I'm still trying to forget that thank you " she said blushin embrassed by it she gave a quiet sigh watching him "so um ..you say that'd it'd only be fair.. But I'm not sure ..it will be fair..I don't look very good " she said frowning lightly"and yeah I do..I mean..I was watching him in the cave when he wasn't watching dolly..he seemed like he was worried 'she said frowning gently. Styx nodded "your mother's sounds smart and beautiful " he said smiling at her "you must get that from her " he said smiling at her.Dark chuckled 'yes but at least they love her so ..vera..what do you like the most? "He asked looking at her curiooursly " I mean do you like dance stuff like that?"he asked.


Melinda smiled before looking at sitka "I'll be back soon okay.?" She said smiling before looking at Ulric and smiling "of course I have a sister ..we van go see her and mason if you would like.." She said tipping her head before smiling. Katie smiled "I'd love some.. Race ya.." She said smiling at him "so who do you think will win I'm really fast.." She teased him grinning

Bren smirked at her as he wiggled his eyebrow. "You just admitted you think I'm good looking, so why would you want to forget that?" He asked her as he stepped a little closer to her and placed his arms around her. "Seriously though, don't talk about yourself like that. I think you are stunning and you should too." He told her as he leaned down and kissed her. "So I'll probably ask Mason if there is something on his mind.." He told her feeling a bit concerned too. Kaia blushed and quickly looked down at her feet. "Oh.. I could never compare to her.. She's a amazing and I'm not much like her. She's smart and graceful.. I'm silly and clumsy." She sighed wishing she could be half the women her mother was. Vera looked over at her brother and let out a sigh, "Well.. I like dancing I guess, but it's not much fun without a partner.. I really like drinking dad's wine but he gets mad when he catches me. He thinks I'll get addicted for whatever reason. I love traveling. Last year he took us to Rio. It was super fun." She told him with a big smile.


Sitka gave a nod and sighed. "You better be." He told her with a half pout before going to play with his toys. Ulric looked at her and rubbed his head. "I get the feeling that I'd be better off avoiding your sister." He admitted wondering why he felt that way when he didn't even know the girl yet. Adak looked at her and smirked, "Sure you will. You shouldn't get a big head. It might slow you down.' He teased her as he took off wondering if she could keep up or not.

Pearl nodded lightly "becuase that was your private..."she said frowning lightly"sure when were married i probably would have looked but.. Bren chuckled at her response. "You are so innocent and proper at times.. almost like there is a totally other side to you.' He teased her as he held her close. "It's okay though cause I like that about you." He sighed looking up at the sky. "I know, but he sometimes doesn't tell me things. I think it's because he's older then me and feels like I shouldn't be looking out for him. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but it's the impression I get." Kaia looked at him and smiled a little. "I'm not graceful.. I don't think it's hiding either." she told him with a sigh. "But I guess it's okay if you don't mind silly and clumsy." She told him feeling a little bit better. Vera gave a nod remembering Mar saying something similar before. "Yeah he should us the mansion and he also showed us the place him and mom had their first real date." She smiled remembering how pretty it had been.


Adak looked back at her and sighed. "What do I think?..Hm.. I'm not sure. Maybe that I really like you. At first I hadn't imagined it would turn out like this but I'm glad it did." He told her as he slowed down to a walk. Dolly looked at him a little surprised. "Really?" she asked tilting her head a little. "Oh wow, that's amazing Mason." she told him with a smile. She knew how much he loved his grandfather's place. "So.. Mason.. is there something bothering you?"

Pearl looked at him before frowning "i dont think..its cuase hes older..and hes not older by much"she said looking at bren she gave a quiet sigh "and so what if i am like that at times "she said smiling she gave a quiet sigh "maybe he just feels..like eventually there might be a small riff between you two"she said frowning. Styx chuckled lightly "why would i want smart and graceful all the times silly and clumsly ..never gets old"he said smiling at her . Dark grinned when he saw they were arriving home"well ..tell me when you want to do this again..milkshake tommrow?"he asked arching his eyebrows"its been along time since ive had a really good milkshake "he said frowning


Katie looked at him before smiling "oh and how did you think it would turn out?"she asked in a kind of a rather sassy voice though she was just being playful"..do i kiss good?"she teased watching him.Mason looked at dolly before nodding "yeah and it is "he said sighing "yes there is something wrong but what im worried about is probably just stupid"he said frowning thinking about it or more so wincing at the thoughts he gave a quiet sigh looking around"im worried..eventually..bren and pride..might become friends and hang out more..."he said frowning "eventually bren...i mean he will have to eventually"he said frowning looking at dolly.

He was getting into things that might be more then he could handle, plus with his distant relatives from his grandfather's clan hating him.. he never knew when someone was going to jump him or try to kill him again. Kaia sighed hearing that. "You are just flirting." She told him with a big smile. she liked it though, no one had ever flirted with her before. "So.. what now?" Vera looked at him and smiled. "Milkshakes sound good. I really had fun today." she told him as she gave him a hug and looked toward the house.


Adak looked at her and sighed. "I didn't think you would stick around. I figured you would have gotten fed up and left by now, but I'm glad you didn't and by the way you do kiss great." He told her as they walked. He wondered how she would respond to that. Dolly listen to his worry and giggled a little. "Even if he does become friends with Pride, he's still your brother and I think he'd always chose you over Pride. After all you were the only person to look out for him when those guys were bullying him. Plus you two have been through a lot together." She pointed out to Mason trying to make him feel better. "I'd be more worried about his job.. The hunters already don't like him much and neither do some gypsies. Now he's digging into things that will feed that fire." She pointed out having a bad feeling about it all.

She had never been on one before, but she wasn't going to tell him that just yet. Vera gave a nod before running toward the house. "Asher you clumsy goof." she told him as she stopped to help him up. "You really should be more careful."


Adak gave a nod as he reached over and took her hand. "If you wanted to go out to dinner, you could have just said so. I'm still not sure how things like this work, so I don't take any offense to you bossing me around a little when it comes to dating issues." He told her with a sigh. Dolly gave a nod and sighed. She pulled them right out of him. Dolly giggled listening to him. "Even if he did snap, your his brother and I'm his friend. We would still be there to beat the sense back into him." She told him not sure how to feel about a man spoiling her. She did know if her father found out he might over react.


Adak gave a nod and sighed. "Sure.' He told her as they walked. He really couldn't help smiling when she said that. "I'm glad someone does. I always thought it was kind of creepy and other people have said the same." He told her. Dolly blushed as he held her. "Oh my Mason... You'll make me blush if you keep saying things like that." Avalanche was his mother or the only one he really could remember, but he still thought of his birth mother from time to time. He had faint memories of her. "I understand how you feel Pearl. I want them there too. Even if only in spirit." He assured her. Kaia gave a happy nod and skipped along beside him. "Well.. my grandfathers are kind of scary at times, but inside they are really gentle. My grandmothers are somethings else. My dad is great, but he's very protective of me and my mom and brother." She explained as they walked.
