Pearl nodded"yeah i know..and of course i would why wouldnt i and why wouldnt you?"she asked looking at him she gave a quiet sigh"..yeah well we cant get bye without having one some people on brens side..might ..squall or whine about it"she said frowning she looked at bren before sighing"can i go get changed now?"she asked watching him. Styx smiled "..well i like that.."he said smiling squeezing her hand "so..what do you like to do for fun?"he asked walking he gave a quiet sigh as he saw a few stores"nope not that one"he said frowning.


Katie giggled"i will remember that..its useful information "she said smiling seeing the houses"so why did your mom bulid that fence ..is she going to tear it down?"she asked curioursly she gave a quiet sigh watching adak.Mason nodded lightly before eyeing her"what?"he said looking at her "why would you even ?"he asked sighing looking at her "i mean im not ashamed . ..but i am mad.."he said frowning looking at her "dolly..i mean how..why?"he said frowning looking at her.

Blake chuckled a little listening to her. "I'd whine and cry the most though. You're my only daughter." He told her before nodding for her to go change. "Go on. Don't want to keep you to long. You might change your mind." He teased her before sitting down on the porch swing to wait. Bren sighed watching her go. He was really excited, but he didn't want to show it to much. Kaia giggled thinking about her hobbies. "Well I like to garden, skate, hike, volunteer with animals." She told him just listing a few things. "Dancing is fun too."


Adak gave a nod before sighing. "I always thought she put it up because of me, but maybe it was because of other things. I know just before I was born there was a war and a lot of things happen.. but it's been pretty peaceful since." He explained. Dolly was trying not to cry. She never cried before and she didn't want to start now. "Because it's the only thing I know beside astronomy. Plus it feels... right for me.. taking care of the criminals so bad that prison isn't an option.." She frowned wondering if he would understand. She wanted him to so bad. "I can't tell you I don't like it.. because I do.. but it's more so because it gives me purpose."

Pearl nodded lightly "yes i know you would"she said before going to get changed she gave a quiet sigh as she got changed and put some pearls on *..hmm one of my favorite necklaces *she thought sighing lightly watching them as she walked outside. Styx nodded"ah gardening i like that to i usually endup ruining one of my faveriotre suites cause of it "he said chuckling about it "hiking is nice"he said smiling looking at kaia"..am i werid?"he asked.


Katie nodded lightly "i dont think it was becuase of you"she said giggling lightly she gave a gentle sigh"..abig war huh i wonder what about "she said frowning thinking "well obviously your family won "she said frowning lightly .Mason frowned looking at her before sighing "yeah sure"he said frowning looking around before sighing watching her"whatever works for you"he said frowning "..i cant tell you not to be one.."he said frowning" i would if i could..but i wont"he said frowning he gave a frown looking at the sky.

Bren smiled seeing her come back out onto the porch. She was stunning, though she always was. He was thankful that he always dressed nice for a change. "You ready beautiful?" He asked her with a grin, offering her his hand. Blake smiled seeing her. "You look beautiful Pearl. Just like your mother did when she wore that dress." He told her feeling like he was going to cry a little. She had grown up so much. Kaia shook her head and smiled at him. "No, I don't think you are. You're unique. If we all were the same then people would get boring." She told him.


Adak gave a nod and sighed. "All I know is it was big and even though it was a something bad.. a lot of good came from it. New family members, closer bonds. That sort of thing." He shrugged not sure he wanted to know what things had been like before. Dolly stopped and looked him in the eyes. "Mason.. I know you aren't okay with it.. and if you can't be okay with it then it'll eat at you until you can't stand it any more.. I was afraid it would bother you this much.. and that it would drive you away from me because you could never love this side of me.." She confessed to him, hoping she was wrong in her fear. "I told you.. because I'm going on a mission tomorrow.. my target is a top criminal. They call him the shadow because he's not on the charts. He's blown up hospitals without anyone ever seeing him... and I love you so I wanted you to know the truth in case.. something goes wrong." She sighed looking up at the sky wondering if Mason could look past this.. if he would try to talk her out of going. A part of her really wanted him to, wanted him to tell her she could have a normal life with him and that could be her purpose. He had classes though and was so focused on his dream that she could never ask him to slow down with her.. even if just a little bit.

Pearl noddeD'yep i am and do i ?"she asked looking at blake she smiled lightly"bren were allowed to have a witness right?"she asked arching her eyebrows wondering if he knew what she was getting at she gave a quiet sigh looking at bren *brens always so handsome *she thought. Styx smiled at her"true.."he said smiling she gave a smile "so..you like that store.. we can get somedresses in there"he said smiling at her" can i hold your hand ?" he asked watching her.


Katie sighed and nodded once she got to her house she sighed"you can wait...inside or outside your choice"she said smiling at him"dosent matter to me one bit "she said watching him for his reaction.Mason sighed " i just want a normal life.. and you to look at me like im a protector at times you know the way mom looks at my dad "he said frowning he gave a quiet sigh "i just wanted a normal life "he said frowning lightly " so..you want to know a secret ive been keeping?"he asked sighing" and what if told you you werent allowed to go?"he asked looking at her.

Bren smiled at her and gave a nod. "I think it would be best if we had at least one." He told her with a soft smile. Blake couldn't help but hug her. "Yes, you do. You look so much like your mother and I know she would be so proud of you for growing up into the wonderful young lady you are now." Kaia reached over and took his hand. "Let's go look around." She felt her heart skip a beat as she held his hand and stood next to him.


Adak shrugged and followed her inside. "I'd rather come in with you. My mom might see me out there and freak." He pointed out with a sigh. "She tends to not think sometimes." He knew it was true. His father had told him stories, plus he had seen it himself once. Dolly looked into his eyes and sighed, "Then tell me not to go. Tell me that everything I need is right here with you.. Do that and I'll stay here.. because I don't want to go. I've been patiently waiting for you to tell me you were ready for a life that included me.. one where you got up in the morning with me and ate together at night." She told him taking his hand. "I've never been very out spoken when it comes to what I want, but I want to be with you." She told him as she hugged him and rested her head on his shoulder. "What's this secret?"

Pearl smiled and nodded "dad would you like to be our witness I mean if you want to that is not if not I'm sure we could find someone else " she said smiling watching him .Styx smiled at kaia "what about this one? " he asked showing her "whats your faveriotte color?" He asked curiously looking at her "mines black 'he said smiling looking at her.


Katie nodded "alright come on then " she said smiling before shewalked upstairs and got changed before walking back to adak "like my shoes?" She asked showing him her sparkliy shoes.Mason chuckled lightly"dolly silly..i thought you knew what the owl ring and necklace ment"he said smiling at her before grabbing her and messing with her hair some "..i thought my life always included you..this is news to me that it didnt"he said blinking"okay well..im going to let you meet my farther"he said frowning".. and my secret is if i lost you id turn into my farther"he said frowning.

Blake gave a nod. "I would love to, Pearl." He told her feeling thankful he could be there for this. "Here, you should wear this with that dress." He told her pulling out a necklace. It was a locket with a full family photo in it. "That way everyone can be there." He told her knowing she would feel better with it close to her heart. Kaia smiled looking at the dress he had picked out. "It's beautiful. My favorite color is pastel green or teal. I like earthy colors." She told him as she took the dress. "Would you like me to try it on?"


Adak waited at the stairs for her, but when she came back he couldn't help the smile that crossed his face. "You look beautiful, Katie." He told her as he offered her his hand. "Those shoes seem to fit you well." Dolly smiled at him and sighed. "You know I can be some what of a air head. Something just go over my head because.. I'm not human Mason.. I don't completely understand human customs even though I've lived around them most of my life... and it didn't feel like that when every day I got to watch you buried in books.. it was lonely when you would make time for me since you were always to tired to really enjoy it.. I could tell you couldn't keep up with me and that your mind was other places..." She told him with a sigh.. "So I fell back into old habits to distract myself.." She hated admitting it, but she knew it was right to do so. "Are you sure? I mean you have said some pretty bad things about him."

Pearl nodded "okay sure"she said smiling"were going to have the other wedding at the One place with the legend"she said hoping her dad knew were she was talking about cause her mind went blank"bren..you dont have a problem with dad.. being our witness..do you?"she asked. He had always liked the boy since he first met him. Kaia gave a nod as she went to change. Coming back she spun around for him and giggled. "What do you think?" She asked stopping and waiting for his answer.


Adak gave a nod. 'Then I guess they really are fitting for you." He teased a little, though it was all in good humor. She brought the best out of him even though they hadn't been dating for long. Dolly gave a nod and smiled, "I know and that's why I told you the truth.. because you were actually making a place for me and.. well it didn't feel right any more to keep going on like I had been." She explained holding his hand. "I don't think it will change how I feel about you. You already love me.. even the darkest parts." She knew she could return that love to him. Nothing would change how she felt about him. "I have to tell you something... but I want to wait until after I've met your father." She told him with a sigh.

Pearl looked at bren "sure if you want to i guess though i think theirs another hidden motive behind it"she teased before sighing she looked at her dad before looking at bren "..okay then come on "she said smiling she gave bren a slightly confused look. Bren chuckled as he scooped her up into his arms. "Maybe I just like carrying you." He told her as he kissed her forehead and walked. He felt like everything was right, at least in this moment it was. "Are you ready to be stuck with me for the rest of your life?" He teased her a little though he knew she was. Kaia gave a nod and smiled. "She's like my only real friend. She's older then me too, so I kind of see her like a older sister." She told him with a sigh.


Adak gave a nod, "Most people in my family are like that.. though there are a few that are almost as grumpy as I am." He sighed remembering the few times he had met the whole family. "Plus when they all get together things can get out of hand fast." Dolly gave a nod and giggled, "No not really. It might make you faint.. but I don't think you'll get to mad.. maybe at me for being so reckless but.." She stopped not wanting to give to much away, though he was smart and she knew he could make really good guesses. Slate grumbled as he tossed a small gypsy girl into the wall before storming off. He had a feeling that this day was only going to make him more irritated as it went on.

Mason sighed lightly"..oh boy"he said sighing he had a few quesses he sighed when he got his farther place he looked at dolly before knocking on the door he slightly hoped bird got there before his farther did, Bird sighed before walking and opening the door "Mason ";she said smiling and then seeing dolly"Oh this is dolly"she said smiling before sighing"your farthers in a bad mood but when hes not"she said frowning in a whisper she sighed looking around for slate.

Bren smiled at her and chuckled. "Well my dad said I could always use the apartment above the bar. We can stay there until we find something else." He told her with a smile. It was a start and it was a beautiful apartment too. Just right for them at the moment. Kaia gave a small nod. "Kind of. She's been doing a lot better with Bren being around more." She smiled feeling fond of Bren. He was like the goofy older brother most girls wanted.


Dolly stayed close to Mason, but smiled seeing Bird. "Hello." She said before looking around a little. Slate narrowed his eyes hearing the door open. "Who the hell is here, Bird?" He yelled storming down the stairs to see for himself. "How many times have I told you not to have people over. Didn't you learn when I killed the last one." He growled walking into the room, but going silent when he saw Mason. Dolly looked at Mason and sighed, "He's the kind of person I usually get hired to kill." She mumbled wondering why this ass wasn't dead yet. She still loved Mason, even knowing that man was his father. "It's a little late to worry about genes Mason." she told him wondering if he would understand.

Pearl sighed "yeah might be nice its strange knowing you and everyone used to live there " she said smiling lookin at him she Gave a gentle sigh "so our teams what if they go head to head ?" Mason looked at dolly "we will talk about it later.. " he said sighing before shaking his head and patting bird on the head "I see he's still the same since I was left here " he said frowning before looking at slate "what surprised to see me?" Bren smiled at her when they got to the place. "Well.. I wanted to propose this before but now would be the best time. I even got the idea approved by Dolly's father. Our teams becoming allies. If that happens, then they wont have to face off.. maybe only in tournament." He told her hoping she would like the idea. Kaia gave a happy nod. "Yep... maybe we could be more then friends later." She told him blushing a little. She really liked him and he was really handsome too.


Dolly gave a nod and sighed, "Course I still want you silly. He might be bad.. I've known worse." She told him with a sigh. Turning to Bird she gave a small nod. Slate raised a eyebrow at his son. "why are you here? You made your choice." He growled at him. "And to bring her here and rub it in my face that you have made a better life for yourself." He almost wanted to choke the girl, but he wouldn't. He could sense it on her and if there was anything, he did want to have some control over his descendants.

Slate huffed listening to him. "What nonsense." He told Mason trying to hold his temper. Turning to Bird he shot her a nasty look. "Keep out of this girl. Bren chuckled as they stood there about to get married. "Yes you look amazing love." He told her as he brushed a strand of her hair out of her face. "You always look lovely and right now isn't any different, though I would say that dress brings out your eyes." He told her. Kaia felt a little nervous but she smiled and sighed. "It must be a guy thing." She giggled remembering a few stories her mother had told her about guys in the family.


Slate narrowed his eyes at him. "Boy, just shut up. It's none of your business why I am the way I am, but I can tell you this much. You will come back and visit again." He wasn't about to let Mason walk away and not look back. Dolly gave a nod and frowned watching Mason. "Bird.. wouldn't you rather come with us though..?" She didn't feel right leaving the girl there and she was sure that if the girl's father truly cared for her he would understand.

Mason sighed lightly"no im not..not if your going to act like five year old about it..."he said wrinkling his nose "and theres nothing you can do about it "he grumbled lightly he sighed watching dolly and bird ,Bird frowned lightly looking at dolly"hmm come on"she said before walking towards the backyard of the places she sighed looking at dolly when she got outside"my dad is sick and if i dont take care of him someone might shoot him"she said frowning.

Bren smiled as he said he did and turned to her. "Yes." He told her before leaning forward and gave her a deep and passionate kiss. "I can tell you are worrying again. Stop and just enjoy this moment." He knew she was probably thinking about running her family again and he knew she didn't have to worry about that. Kaia gave a nod and smiled. "Okay.. and I love ice cream. I like cotton candy or strawberry flavored the best." she told him jumping around from joy.


Slate looked at Mason and grumbled. "So you would even keep your children from me?" He asked sitting down and watching him. "I'm not the one that chose to leave here and live with scum." He told Mason clearly still pissed that his son had chosen his mother over him. "I guess it doesn't matter. I had another child after you left. Much more obedient." Dolly gave a nod and frowned. "I see.. I wish there was something I could do to help... but Mason wouldn't be happy if I assassinated his father..." she sighed feeling useless at the moment.

Mason rolled his eyes "your lucky you sat down..I might kicked your ass for calling mom scum " he said sighing "well good for you..you never cared much anyways " he said sighing "and yes I will keep them away from you..you won't be there grandfather " he said .Bird nodded "that's alright..I'm sure my dad will eventually die on his own terms soon away not soon enough though..I eventually want to go find a guy I like have some kids " she said frowning "acutely live for a change you knows not scared I'm going to die every day " she said smiling.
