Fantasy The age of dragons: a pirates tale. (Accepting)

A small summary I guess. This rp is semi casual and a character sheet page shall soon be posted in “characters”
(Note more is to be added and the name could change.)

A pirate’s tale takes place in a world known tomost as Seivor. Seivor is a world much like earth being mostly water with creatures that most consider dangerous and magic. The two strongest nations of Seivor are in a Cold War to combat the growing pirate menace and attacking dragons. All countries have been affected in some way.

Many people in Seivor are special in the way They can learn and use magic. Around fifteen percent of the world is talented in some way of magic. These people are called or referred to as talented.
The most common talents are fire water and air, though many types of magic is recorded.


The actual rp would follow a pirate ship or two surviving and searching for profit, depending on how many join. Possibly a navy ship to with a differing story.

Nations:

Bullaria- the Bulla empire is the largest in the west with the strongest navy of all nations. The University of talent is in the heart of the capital Wimshin. It is the largest establishment in the west in regards to teaching talents. Very “fancy” I’ve been told.

1. Kulle- the kulle nation relies on trade relations more than any other, their merchant’s are allowed in all waters through treaties and such. The kulle navy employ “privateers” and criminals alike when in need.

1. Eria- Eria is a land of beautiful lush scenery and proud people, bullaria invaded and enslaved For a time, setting up outposts and plantations until eventually making a city.

1. Hapen- hapen resides in the east, the samurai of hapen are feared all through Seivor. Hapen is famous for their strong armies and impressive weapons. Bullaria and Hapen has been in a slowly escalating war for the last three years.

Places of note.

1. An’Lara- a island paradise that has been built up over decades. It has one massive city that spreads over the majority of said island. It was named after the first man to land on the island. Sear Gava.

1. Riga- a mysterious island in the middle of the sea. Humanoid creatures are said to reside here. It’s location would be closest to an’lara.

Talent.
Talent in its raw form is being able to control or use magic in some form. The most common and basic three forms are wind water and fire. However the University of wimshin has many recorded forms of talent.

All over Seivor.. Fifteen percent of people have talent, and families often try and pair talented clans together for political or ambitious reasons. Some families have specialised schools of talent that the university, (and other groups) seeking to acquire this knowledge.

Monsters.

Dragons.
Dragons are the most known and legendary of all creatures. Many different types live in various areas of Seivor. Dragons are known to attack with elemental talent.

Kraken.
Giant octopus.

Mermaid.
Pretty explanatory. Sing sailors to their doom etc

Almost anything imaginable.

After Christmas I’ll hopefully fix or find someone to edit The map I have and I’ll post the page character sheets go. Each town will get a description and a picture at the very least. Any questions asked will be answered.

When it comes to character sheets what do you prefer?
I’m thinking of using the (SIC.K) stats. With seventeen points to spread between said stats. For example
Name: Joe.
Strength : 10
Intelligence : 2
Charisma : 2

Killer skills: 3
1) martial arts.
2) seduction.
3) archery.
4)...
5)...

Killer skills can literally be any skill you can think of, you can have up to five things you can be “skilled” in however...

say Bob’s only skill is “archery”
While joe has three skills, one of them being “archery”
It’s safe to say Bob has more skill than joe in archery. (If I make sense? Sorry if I don’t)

Talent/magic is a mix of intelligence and killer skills.
So if we go by the example sheet of joe.
His talent adds up to 5 with intelligence being 2 and Killer skills being 3
He has no formal training in talent but has the ability to learn and use it.

As two people who are interested what’s your thoughts on this so far

Depends on how humanoid we’re talking but yes humanoid monsters exist. And you can choose to be whatever
