He said potions with quotations so I'm guessing he was talking about tonics and stuff or maybe advertised "potions" that say they do stuff but it's just placebo.

@Pyosimros Is right. By Potions they mean combinations that can poison you with drinking it, burn you on sight, or stop things like nausea. They dont have potions that give you any like attack boost or power up, or instantly heal you. The are bassically medicines, poisons, or deadly chemicals. @CloudyBlueDay

Yeah, that sounds about right. I would like to make a character who was taught how to make potions, thus has experience using them and creating them.
