Good sir, I cannot tell you how many times, in Sherwood's "Army of the Southern Cross" game that you're in that I rolled 1 after 1 after 1... When this happens, Sherwood has come up with reasons and fumble-like issues (though he does not use a fumble table - thank gosh!). However, I remember one point where I had rolled yet another 1 at a critical moment, and Sherwood literally didn't even go through the fumble-like issue, but declared it a clear miss without any further disadvantage.


I swear I have never rolled more ones as a player as I have in that otherwise-wonderful game. =)

Epiphany, the same question goes to you? Twice now, I've stopped short from calling you, "Piph" or "Pif." =)
 
Beo, but you probably all figured that out by now. And Dan for you. So, Techno, Dan, and Beo. What a ban of misfits we shall be.
 
Yeah, the dice might not have favored you in that last fight, Beo, but you certainly did give it your all. Good role-playing there! =)

My usual nickname tends to be 'Pips'. But call me whatever you like as long as it's not malicious. ;)

I picture this, that SOMEONE (Gives Dannigan a LOOK) made a few players make a long involved list of stuff they carry or have on hand. I'm carrying tools to remove armor plates and stuff like that there, but as for replacing, the actual plates would have to be on a vehicle or something... Then there is the mentioned MDC Duct Tape. heh heh. There is a possible way I could make armor patches from the busted up ones, but Sherwood and I would have to talk on that, and it would require some heavy tools.

Thanks for that, Sherwood. =) That's just me being at work six days out of this week. Let me see what I can post before work here...


 
@TechnoParadox Hey Techie? Your character sheet has lots of relevant details about your character, but little in the way of what he looks like. I'd like to get to know your character more in this respect. Are there any pictures or artwork out there that might do him justice?


@Beowulf I'd like to shoot you the same question for the same reasons, if I may? Want to know MOAR! =)
 
That's a good question. Hmm... Average size, average build, and a forgetable face with a shock of bright red hair. He's just another grunt.
 
@Dannigan What an unusual set of questions! I had a lot of fun digging into Zaile's mindset on the matter. Hopefully I did justice to preserving the Zentraedi perspective while tempering it with a bit of experience.

@Dannigan Could I just give a detailed description of him? I can't really find a good picture for what I have mind to be honest.
 
Just stick it in your sheet somewhere for reference. :) I'll admit, it's nice to occasionally be able to reference details without having to scrounge through the IC thread looking back pages and pages to whatever description was given in the introductory post.
 
I'm the other way around with pictures. I like to see what I'm dealing with as much as I can.
