Maoni listened to this story that Hisashi started to make up, And since he was so distracted about his story, she noticed that he was about to walk into a tree. Without saying anything, she watched as he slammed into a tree and fell on his behind. 'BURNING PASSION!' was he referring to me and him? Doubt it. Maoni laughed softly and shook her head "Well you're courageous enough to try to take a tree head on. BRavo" she grinned as she put her hands on her hips "You alright?"

Jepitha picked Kino back up over his shoulder again and he started walking again. He listened to Hisashi telling his story about adventurers. Jepitha was still getting some air back into his chest when saw Hisashi walking right into the tree. Jepitha started to laugh again, this time it sounded like he couldn't breathe.

Hisashi lifted his head and blinked a few times, as his health bar appeared to mock him by decreasing a few points.


He looked up to where Maoni was laughing.


"Hey that tree had it coming. Didn't like the way it was staring at me." He said in fake seriousness.


He pushed himself back into his feet and turned to look at Jep.


"Oh yeah, laugh it up, chuckles! Just you watch." He said with a challenging tone as Hisahsi turned back towards the tree and pulled his arm back, punching the tree as hard as he could.


Since he didn't have a martial skill, he had to equip and unequip his dagger really fast, to get more power into the swing, but he timed it just right, and the tree exploded into pixels before fading away.


Pain seared through his arm, which he pulled behind his back to look back at Jep and Maoni, a smug look on his face in an attempt to mask the fact that he wanted to cry out in pain.


Worth it.

Just glancing at Jep made her laugh some more before turning her attention back to Hisashi who now wanted to punch a tree. He did it pretty well but the look on his face said something else "You're a terrible liar." Maoni told him before adding "Let me see. I've punched a tree, and its not very nice." Hisashi didnt have to pretend that he was strong "If you're trying to impress us i'm sure you did a good job." Everyone was doing some stupid stuff today. Kino with Drinking, Hisashi with punching a tree..what was Jep going to do?

Hisashi let out a dramatic gasp.


"ME? A liar? I am appalled, and quite frankly, hurt, at the accusation!" He said placing his hand delicately on his chest. He shook his hand and looked down, smirking.


"Since you admitted it was impressive, I'll admit it hurt a bit, but I think my fave hurts more..." He trailed off and helooked towards Maoni, eyes glinting mischievously.


"My face reaaaally hurts.... Kiss it and make it better?" Hisashi joked.


I could get stabbed for this...

Maoni stared at him as her face paled by his question "...No." she simply said as she continued to walk, the color rushing back to her face but making her cheeks red. He's going to kill me of embarassment if he keeps this up. What happened to the badassness I had!? I cant even hide it anymore.. then again, the more she thought about it, the more she noticed there was nothing wrong with her. This is how Maoni was when she had her friends..they were funny and still pretended that the world around them wasnt horrible. They made her laugh and cry..it was fun!

Jepitha slowly stood up, still chuckling softly. He finally got control of himself as he walked to Maoni and Hisashi. Before Hisashi moved out of his position, he adjusted Kino, leaning the unconscious boy over to Hisashi and pressed Kinos lips against Hisashi cheek. "Ahhhh, Kino just wants to give a kiss on the cheek." He said before laughing again, falling to his knees again.

"Aww, come on Jep! Even if it was a pile of pixels, puke is puke, and he was COVERED in it a second ago!" Hisashi whined, wiping absolutely nothing off his face.


Hisashi pouted, and turned away from the laughing Jep, crossing his arms angrily.


"Are we getting close? And can you deny Jep access when we get there?" He asked Maoni

As Maoni composed herself, she glanced over her shoulder "I'm not going to deny him access, Hisashi, if i'm gonna do that I might as well do that to all of you." she rolled her eyes with a smile "I invited you guys over, so weather you like it or not, you're all going into my house. I'm sure you wouldnt want to spend any money on staying at a tavern or something."

Jepitha was able to get his breathe again as he stood up. "And besides, I have a home a few floors up. And Maoni likes me, anyway." He joked as he followed Maoni and Hisashi. "Now what does your cabin look like?"

"It looks like a cabin..We're not too far so dont worry about traveling far. I wouldnt do that if I knew if the house was far." if anything she'd try to find someone to help them travel. Like an NPC or something around those lines. As they kept walking, the cabin came into view "There it is. Home."

Hisashi sighed. "I was just kidding. You two know that, right?" He followed them through the forest, his hands in his pockets.


"Y'know, I can see the appeal of living in a forest like this. It's almost... Peaceful. I've always been a fan of nature. Except for spiders. Screw spiders. Are there spiders in the game, because if so, you can just kill me here." He joked before stopping to look at the cabin.


"That cabin is definitely.... A cabin. I still think it has secret lair potential!" He chuckled.

"There's only monsters that could be spiders.. But other than that, no, no spiders." as she looked back to see his reaction to her cabin, she shook her head "Not at all. But whatever floats your boat." she walked ahead and then jogged up towards the house "I call bath first!" she then looked at Kino "Unless you guys want him to go first..less gross that way.." since Kino did fall into his own vomit... Yeah maybe he should go first rather than her.. "Know what, one of you guys is bathing Kino."

Hisashi's face scrunched up at the thought of bathing Kino.


"Yeaaaah, I refuse to take part in Boku no Kino, so, he's all yours Jep." He laughed.


Hisahsi stopped and yawned, feeling tired for the first time that day. "Man, didn't realize how tired I was. Today has been a little too much of a roller coaster for me, so sleep sounds nice."


He turned towards Maoni.


"So, are you gonna offer me the grand tour of your secret base, here? I'm still not giving up on that! Who knows what secret rooms you could have, I'm checking all the bookshelves!"

Maoni rolled her eyes again "I'm telling you I dont have a secret base..Its in the open.." she laughed and shook her head "As for bookshelves, I dont have that many so you're going to have no luck. If anything, my secret lair is my bedroom where I will be sleeping like a baby tonight." and hoping she wouldnt dream of Hisashi. Having him on her mind was bound to make her dream about him

Jepitha chuckled as he shook his head. "I ain't bathing him, he can clean himself in the morning." Jepitha said as he looked around inside of the cabin. "It's a nice place you have Maoni." He said looking around, smiling slightly.

Hisashi snorted at Jep's dismissive attitude towards the drunk and passed out Kino. He slowly began to pace around the cabin, occasionally crouching low to inspect the cracks between the furniture, on a hunt for any hidden buttons or switches. Having no luck in the living area, he wandered off to what he guessed was the guest room, noticing the lack of actual decoration and the two twin sized beds in the room.


Hisashi crept low, scanning every crevice, but came up again with no luck.


"Hmmm..."


He then walked down the hall into the next room, not paying attention at first. He stopped when he reached the end of a bed, and looked around.


"Oh, shit, is this your room Maoni?" He called out, taking a quick look around.


"Do you have a diaaaaaaaary hidden in here?" He laughed excitedly, peeking out from the doorway.

Maoni sighed "Jep just wash his face then.. I wont let him sleep on my guest beds with his dirty face" closing the door and locking it, she watched Hisashi and followed him all the way up to her room. She was in the hall when he peeked out and asked about a diary "Why would I want a Diary when I have this." she tapped her head gently "I dont need a book to hold my feelings and memories, Hisashi." her room had been a little more decorated than the guest room. It was obvious that it was hers but Hisashi never noticed.


As she got to her door, she pushed him aside "if you think I have one, go ahead, search my room. But dont touch my dresser." if he did, she'd kill him. Walking to her closet, she opened it and a menu popped up. Maoni went through it till she found her robe and she slipped it into her inventory.

Hisashi's attention immediately snapped to the dresser.


"Now, why would you tell me of ALL PEOPLE, not to do something?" He laughed, crouching low and staring at the dresser. He held his hand out to activate the menu for it, and stared and the "open" option. He held his finger over it and looked back at Maoni.


"Whatcha got in here anyways? Secrets? Dirty secrets? Some embarassing clothes? I know SAO has a large collection of clothing, or lack of, to choose from, but I never pegged you as the type..." He teased, a wicked grin across his face.

While the two were looking through Maonis room, Jepitha was in the kitchen, washing Kinos face. After his face was cleaned, Jepitha carried Kino to the guess room. He laid Kino down on one of the beds before he walked to Maonis room. Jepitha raised an eyebrow as he watched Hisashi. "What's wrong with that?" He asked him as he opened his own menu and went to the clothing. He changed into a white tank top with grey sweat pants and no shoes.

Maoni glanced over and narrowed her eyes as she made the menu disappear and closed her closet. Making her way over, she took her foot and shoved Hisashi onto the floor with it and she kept her foot on him. Even though he was able to see up her skirt, he would see nothing because she had shorts on under them "I told you not to go through my dresser." her eyes looked like she was shooting daggars at him "I have clothes in there that I have just because. Is that a problem?" she asked

Hisashi barely had time for a "Hey what are you-" before he found himself pinned to the ground by Maoni's foot.


"Hey hey hey! I didn't open it! You can't be mad!" His words were really quick and frantic, as he struggled and squirmed underneath her foot.


Hisashi slowed his breathing and stopped moving. He looked Maoni straight in the eye and sighed, a smile forming on his face.


"You know, when I say that a girl is so amazing and she should step on me, I don't actually mean it." He smirked.

She instantly just brushed off his statement "Just dont go into my dresser." she took her foot off of him and then turned her back to him and looked towards Jep "I'm going to take a shower. Make sure he doesnt get nosy.." she glanced at Hisashi before walking out and going into the bathroom to take a shower. Thats what she needed for this crazy and eventful day. He's trying to break through and so far, he's cracking it.. I guess I cant keep myself protected for long.

Jepitha nodded at Maonis demand as slowly grew a slight grin on his face. "With pleasure." He said before cracking his knuckles, every single one of them cracking, just like the typical 7ft plus thug in old mob movies.

Hisashi looked up at Jep from from where he had pulled himself up from the floor.


He laughed nervously. "Has anyone ever told you you're absolutely terrifying when you do that?" Hisashi stood and made his way over to the door. "S' not like I'd actually go through her stuff. That's creepy." He shrugged.


Hisashi made his way back into the living room and sat down on the couch. He changed our his cloak for just a pair of shorts and for the first time, a simple chain with a ring could be seen around his neck, the ring obviously engraved with some sort of text on it.


He sighed and leaned back on the couch.


"I'm glad today is almost over. I've really had enough of it." He said, staring out the window.
