Hisashi turned to Jep and gave him the "the hell man?" Look.


Turning back to Maoni he sighed. "No I wasn't trying start anything." He muttered, looking back at the menu.


"Although, I think you underestimate me a bit. You think it'd be pretty easy for you to beat me in a fight, huh? I'm not as wimpy as you would think. Made it this far, didn't I? Don't be so sure you'd win" He said not looking up, but effectively trying to change the subject.


He sat there and played with the fork in front of him.

Now Hisahi pushed a button that made her clearly irritated "I dont underestimate you. But I know I have the skill." she got up out of her seat and turned to the group "I'm going outside. Order me whatever." she then walked away, making her way to the door. This just got more irritating. And the way hisashi made me jealous? Come on, that was so low. Opening the door, she stepped out and moved over to the side to just cool off her head and try to relax "Why did he have to be such a jerk?" lifting her hands, she looked down at them

Hisashi watched as Maoni walked and he slammed his head on the table.


"Stupid... Stupid..."


He looked up and sighed. "Order me anything but the vegantarian meal." He said before following Maoni out of the restaurant. He stuck his head out and found her to the side of the door and he leaned against the wall near her, but kept his distance.


"I went too far. I'm sorry." He apologized softly. "I don't want you to leave. The opposite, actually." He said, eyes focused down at the ground as he shuffled his feet a bit.

Maoni dropped her hands when she heard Hisashi and she looked over at him. He was looking down by the time he finished talking. And what he had ended with made her blush softly "I couldnt leave you guys even if I wanted to..I'm already attatched." she admitted "I do accept your apology..you did go a bit far over the line." looking ahead, she took a deep breath "I didnt expect you to push buttons that could hit home really quickly. I'd just expect something to make my eyes roll." seems not. Why was it so hard to talk to him in her own way? She just stuck with the normal and boring words..why?

Hisashi looked up and saw Maoni blush. Smiling, he began to inch closer. "Now that's what I wanted to see."


He chuckled as Maoni expressed her surprise at Hisashi's ability to annoy her.


"Well, I am a man of many talents."


He sat down against the wall and looked up at her expectantly. He equipped his jacket and put his hands in his pockets.


"I was bluffing you know. 'Bout all that stuff with Steph. I just bought the armor and chatted with her for a little. Nothin else." He said, staring at his own knees.

Maoni decided to sit down next to him and she kept her legs flat in front of her since at the moment she had a skirt on "Were you now?" she looked at him "I could have already tell. Well..On some parts I could tell you were bluffing. But then the rest you were just pushing my buttons." she then looked at her feet "I guess we were both in the wrong. I threatened you and really didnt mean to."


Maoni looked at Hisashi "I could never cut down someone of the party i'm in. Especially if he's the funny one of the group."

Hisashi grinned at Maoni. "Heh, the funny one, huh? Sure I'm not the ruggedly handsome one? Or the angsty brooding one? What about the charming one? Or the one that just drives the girls CRAZY?" He joked, wiggling his eyebrows.


"Besides, I knew you wouldn't really "cut me down"" he said the last part with a dramatic voice. "You've seen me at my worst, and if you didn't do it then, you wouldn't do it now.


We should spar sometime though. Maybe some yoga, boxing, get some core strength?" He rambled happily.

"You just want to see me in less clothes if we do some boxing." she couldnt help but let out a soft laugh "Not that I'd care." he would be wrapped around her finger if she were to tease him "Anyway, why were you trying to make me jealous by using the blacksmith? Were you trying to see what would happen if you actually went on a date with her? if I would follow or something."

Kino looked at Jep after the two left, a smile of mischief on his face. "Hehehe." He giggled, the waitress coming over with the steak they had ordered for Maoni and Hisashi. After the two eating in silence, Kino looked across the table at Jep. "Hey... Hey, Jep? Were you mad a me for what I said to you? About me hating you if you killed someone? I hadn't thought about it till just now, but what I said was kinda mean. And... And be honest with me... Did I upset you?"

Jepitha was taking a few sips of his beer before he started to eat his food, which was some jalepéno poppers with some blue cheese dip when he was listening to Kino. Once he wasn't busy chewing or drinking, he shook his head. "No. You should know by now that it takes a lot to make me mad mad. I'm used to people giving me hell for killing players. You get used to that after a while. I can tell when you mean what you say, and when you don't."

Hisashi laughed. "Wasn't my intention, but it's not an unpleasant thought." He joked, giving her a mischievous look.


"Oh all that? I thought if I could get a rise out of you it might prove some delusion of mine. I didn't actually plan on going out with her. She's not my type." Hisashi mused.


Shrugging, he gave her a "whatever" look.


"Eh, it was just me being dumb."

"A delusion?" she asked as she turned so she faced him now and she shifted to sit on her legs "Well mind telling me about this delusion?" he most likely wasnt being delusional. She was just hiding away her true feelings knowing that the time was not right. "If its something embarassing I wouldnt force you to tell me." Maoni herself shrugged as she awaited his answer. Her heart picked up its pace, not sure what he'd say...

Hisashi's face began to grow red and he turned his head so he was looking away from her. "I mean i's pretty embarrassing but I'm not gonna lie or anythin..." He muttered, glancing sideways at her. He cleared his throat and continued to look opposite of her as he began to mess with the neck of his jacket.


"I thought if you got, I dunno, jealous or something it might... Might prove you could possibly have feelings for me or something. Stupid, right?" He said, before squishing his eyes closed, not believing that the words had actually come out of his mouth.

Maoni's own face turned red, followed by her ears. She quickly looked away as she coughed slightly as if she was clearing her throat "O-Oh. I s-See." damn it she was screwing up already!! She was basically telling him that she too had feelings for him "It's not stupid." slowly but surely she was gaining her composure and her reddened face began to go back to her normal skin color "Even if I did have feelings for you, you could never truely figure it out. Some people think I like them when I dont and then when I like someone they think I dont like them..Its kind of weird if you ask me."

Hisashi sighed, certain he had just been slapped with a "no". He scratched his head before pushing himself off of the wall, and standing up in front of Maoni. He gave her a small smile and held his hand out to help her up.


"We should probably get back before Jepetto and Kinocchio get worried." He said, proud of his pun.

She said something wrong and she noticed this just by how he sighed and how his face looked. Boy she was bad with talking to someone she likes..actually..in general she cant talk right. "Yeah.." she took his hand and stood up, gently squeezing it hoping to make him hope just a little bit before she dropped his hand "Nice pun by the way.." then an idea popped into her mind, but she wasnt sure about it yet. No..he could be done at a better time.

Hisashi cocked his head slightly to the side when Maoni squeezed his hand, but didn't speak up about it.


"You know me..." He laughed when she complimented his pun. He walked over to the front of the restaurant and held the door open for Maoni, giving her a short bow.


"Madame Blade Witch." He said, raising his eyes from his bow to smirk at her.


How many times can one guy screw up in one day?

"Blade witch? I will have you know I'm not a witch. Though I do love blades." she lifted his face back up and leaned close before pausing right when their noses touched. And watching his reaction made her laugh as she pulled away and walked in. Seeming to be content with her out-of-nowhere plan. It was cute to see his face that way. "Also, dont ever think you're delusional." she said as she looked over her shoulder and at him "Even if I dont have feelings for you." had to say it but it hurt to say it.

Hisashi stayed there for a good minute, frozen, eyes wide as his face quickly reddened again. His mouth was open slightly and a faint wheeze-like sound droned out. He raised his head and watched her walk in, still unable to speak.


He walked in after her, his face still bright red, "Not delusional. G-got it." He forced out as they walked back to the table.


He sat down silently and stared at the food, still unable to comprehend the last few moments.

maoni sat down at the table and looked down at her food "This actually looks pretty good.." it was chicken that was tossed on a salad which had cheese, tomatos, carrots and other healthy things "Thank you for ordering for me." she looked over at the boys with a slight nod and then went to begin eating. Her expression was back to normal as she ate. The salad was pretty good though.

Kino smiled. "Oh okay. I just wanted to know that I didn't hurt you." Kino looked up and saw Maoni and Hisashi returning. "Oh hey guys." He said.


Kino looked between the two of them. "Everything okay between you two? You gonna eat Hisashi? You've already brought it." Kino said casually reaching for Jep's beer and attempting to take a sip.

Jepitha saw Kinos hands moving to his own mug of beer. Jepitha set his hand on the mug for a second before he chuckled to himself. "Go ahead, try it." He said as he pushed the mug towards Kino. This was Jepithas idea in showing Kino why he shouldn't be drinking alcohol. He'll let Kino drink some tonight, and they'll have to wait till morning to see how Kino will hold up.

Hisashi looked up, dazed.


"Huh? Everything's fine why do you ask?" He said fast and followed by a nervous laugh.


"Food is great, right? I love it. I- I mean I like it, but I'm really confused about how it feels about me, and..." He stopped, realizing he probably sounded both flustered and crazy.


Hisashi glanced around the table before shoving the large chunk of steak in his mouth, instead of the small piece he had just cut from it. Upon realizing his mistake, he looked down with blank expression as he reviewed his life choices up to this point.

Maoni glanced over at Jep and noticed that he allowed Kino to have a sip. That surprised her and she just brushed it off, continuing to eat. Going back into her thoughts, she was thinking of maybe continuing to tease Hisashi. Maoni had that advantage of knowing that he had liked her. But really thinking about it, it wasnt like her to tease someone who liked her. Maybe she should tell him that he wasnt wrong about her having some sort of feeling for him. He pushed the Jealousy button so many times, she was surprised he didnt notice.


Maybe one day she'll tell him in some way..

Kino smiled and drunk the rest of what was in the mug. "This... This tastes disgusting... BUT I FELL GREAT!" Kino yelled, causing many restaurant goers to turn their heads. Just then a waitress came over, "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to calm down." She said, looking down at Kino. "HEY DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Kino yelled. "Sir, I'm going to ask you again and if you dont comply I will have to ask you to leave." The waitress spoke. Kino stood and charged at her, obviously drunken from the alcohol.
