None. 17 is the normal age for year one.

We are still accepting. The gems listed in the mechanics are the ones that are getting reserved. As long as you choose a gem that hasn't been listed, you can use it. Although there can't be more than one type of gem, there can be more than one type of power.

So... For example if I chose to have peridot as my gem and it gives plant powers (someone has plant powers), would it be not accepted because I'm using a similar power? Sorry I just want some extra clarification.

No. There can be more than one user of a certain type of power, but there can't be two gemstones. Peridot with plant power would be accepted if someone else is using, let's say, jade with plant power.
