William held eye contact with Mackenzie for a brief moment before nodding with a small smile. He turned back to Brendan with a look of determination. "Do you what you have to, Brendan," he said evenly.
"Let them know what she brings to the table," he said with a vague air of distaste -- not for Mac's status as an Oracle or even Brendan himself, but for the Council for putting them in this position in the first place. It made him feel like he was bartering through a middle man on behalf of a woman he cared deeply about.

Love that Will is all offended that Brendan is going use her Orcale-ness to barter a way to keep her allowed in Vitae.... but had no issue doing the same thing to Chase.....

He's not offended at Brendan per se, in fact he sort of respects the man offering them a lifeline. He just doesn't like that Mac's been put in the position where she has to essentially has to sell herself (more specifically her services as an Orcale) to prevent exile.

I envision a shoot out between the two forces with Vitae arriving first. The Signs of Hades' arrival causes ghosts to gather in the area so not only that but the ghosts will be another factor between the human forces. not to mention Persephone herself protecting herself.
