Mackenzie flushed deeply after Will stated Ash's luck in knowing her, while she appreciated the statement she knew the fact was that Mac attracted all sorts of horrible things. Her life was a testimony of just how horribly wrong everything could go and should serve as a warning to others to keep away. You thought we were intent to hunt the colony, to kill and turn its people, no one could fault you for this because each and every one of those wolves would do the same thing if the situation was reversed. If the colony was threatening to wipe us out and I had the opportunity to go stay there and find out information to help us keep from being slaughtered I'd do it in a heartbeat."
