I had this little prompt pop into my head while watching anime (specifically Violet Evergarden) and while I'm not to sure how interesting it is, I thought it could be a nice feely kind of prompt could work well paired with the fan kiddos just for a free thought. So here we go:

Your PC(s) know their time is almost up but they don't want to leave their loved ones/friends behind without something to remember them by. What would your character(s) decide to give them? And who would they be giving it to?

For small context the idea this is based on from the anime was letters written and sent every year on the receiver's birthday. Maybe this gives ideas

Paula would give a hair pin and jewelry box to Ness to remember her by it’s not any type of mementos they has sentimental value her parents gave her on a vacation spot in the sea side city of Summers and other vacations after Giygas was gone. I like to think by then they’re married and have a bunch of kiddos so I them having grown old together.

Don’t worry I gotta think on my own as well. There’s a lot of ways to go about this kind of thing after all! And ooooh writing out scenes for it. That sounds like fun abd I can’t wait to see what you might write up a scene is gonna hit me right in the feels I know it lol

This isn't part of what I'm gonna put together for the prompt I put up earlier, but felt it was worth sharing because it is a thought I got from it and because I tied it with the rp's premise as well.

Basically it got me thinking of an alternative outcome for Joker in P5 more so aligning with the bad ending from the Interrogation Room. The concept is the Phantom Thieves believe they have their enemy fooled. The plan of using Joker as bait is all in place, but Joker himself knows that their enemy has caught on and plans to play along. It's too late to change things and he thinks maybe he can pull out some miracle, but even so he decides to quietly prepare for the worst. For the Smash Bros, he specifically writes a letter to Princess Peach telling her he likely will be unable to attend their meet up even though hardly any time has passed since they last were together. He likely writes of specific fighters he was close with, probably telling her to offer whatever endearing words he leaves behind. Maybe he even dares to send a recording with it all so they can hear his voice, though if he did, he's probably trying to hold back his emotions as he does it. Bonus thought is he write his letter on one of the Phantom Thieves calling cards so they have a little memento of him. Bonus bonus: he tells them of the fate that is likely going to befall him and if it's written, the penmanship is very shaky compared to the rest making it clear he was very distressed writing it. If it's vocally recorded, he's choking up and struggling to get the words out

That is all I have to offer. I'll cook up actual stuff when I can but for now I leave you with this. Forgive me I have sinned with this one

I'll have to give a lot of thought to this as my characters are more serious than goofy (save for the Icies) so I would gave to spout out all my thoughts in a well-written manner. Slipping this prompt in my pocket for later!

Spoiler: Lana and Cia word vomit

I've been thinking about these two for a while now because of their relationship obviously. These two meeting and facing off against each other is something I highly anticipate writing so I decided to put some thoughts together in the meantime.

So I devised a reason as to why Cia hadn't originally died at the end of Hyrule Warriors, and it is as thus: The two fragments of the Guardian of Time's soul can only be killed off by its counterpart. Yes, Cia had been slain with aid from Lana, but it was really Link for the most part that ended her.

I think they would eventually come to this conclusion, and knowing that she would forever be regenerated despite how many times she falls in battle, unless Lana is the one who defeats her, it would make her very reckless and cocky. When the time comes for Lana and Cia to duke it out, Cia is more cautious. Lana on the other hand is torn by this information. Knowing that she had the power to eliminate Cia’s existence for good definitely gives her a mix of emotions, but it mostly spikes her fear of Cia. Aside from loving her, Lana also shows a bit of hostility towards her nonetheless, and this would increase it tenfold.

I had a thought of Lana triumphing over Cia, and once she finally has her backed into a corner, Cia asks her, "So...are you going to kill me, Lana?"
Lana hesitates. On one hand, her brain is telling her that this is the only way to stop Cia's madness for good, but on the other hand, Cia is the only family that Lana has. Lana is destined to be alone, she has no friends or family aside from her soul sister. Even if Cia is evil, she is still greatly important to Lana. She isn't just family, she isn't just a counterpart, she's a part of her. Getting rid of Cia would be like getting rid of a piece of herself.

And so she can't. She hesitates, and Cia, sensing weakness, presses the advantage. She probably tries to get into her mind by saying things like "I thought you were pure of heart. Would someone like you kill your soul sister?" And "Why do you serve and protect these people who only seem to use you for your powers then discard you when all is said and done? If we united, everything could change, Lana."

Lana starts trembling and weeping. She feels trapped in the current situation, and that's exactly what Cia wants. If she could persuade Lana to join her, she could get the only person who could truly rival her might to work FOR her.

Cia takes the chance to escape if she sees that Lana has other people with her, but she doesn't consider it a total loss. She planted the seed of doubt into Lana's heart.

Among my PC,Noctis is the one who's time will be up 10 years later...
If he was to give something to his allies, perhaps he give the ring of Lucii. If we're talking about giving it to curent allies, he could give the ring to either Prompto,Joker or Paula.

So I'm almost caught up on my 1x1 rps and once I am I will work on Yoshi then Pyra which will probably be early or mid next week unless I really kick my ass in gear with typing which is unlikely given how slow my writing process has been of late

Little update: I'll probably work on Yoshi tomorrow. If I wasn't exhausted from a long day today, I would have done it tonight, but oh well. I'll get on track tomorrow like I said lol

Speaking about the game,have you seen the last trailer for it? I wonder if I should have Shadow have his new power up ( those Black arms wings) as his final smash.

I did not until now as I am not a huge Shadow fan. As for new abilities, I'd rather not, at least until the game has been out for a while and I can have the full context in regards to the ability. Shadow is already an incredibly powerful character and he doesn't need any more powers, at least for this RP.

I do agree. We don't know yet what he can do with this new ability/form yet until more info/gameplay with that gimmick has been revealed.

Soooooo due to me being highly persuadable as well as Zelda brainrot, I was considering on picking up another PC, and you guessed it! It's another Zelda character. And it's not even one that's original, like Lana and Cia, I was thinking about picking up ANOTHER Link or Zelda.

If I decide to do Link, it will probably be Skyward Sword Link (as that game has claimed my heart. The Link in that game is so dorky and adorable, and having Fi as his companion would be fun!), while the Zelda would most likely be Hyrule Warriors Zelda (as I will CONTINUE to spread HW propaganda by ANY means necessary!/j and also she's really freaking pretty and I love how she's portrayed in the game. Besides, girl can transform into Sheik and I think this Zelda would totally fit in a Smash Bros game. Plus it would be interesting to have a Zelda character aside from Lana/Zelda who knows who they are and what their story entails).

Then again, the Twilight Princess Link and Zelda have always fascinated me (ESPECIALLY TP Zel. Girlie is so alluring, I love her), plus they were already in Smash Bros. games, so I might bring TP Link or Zelda into the game as well.

I can't pick between the options though so these ideas will remain ideas until I finally force my indecisive mind to pick one

To be honest the Lanryu mineshaft is my fave so mysterious.
