Fandom Super Smash Bros. (OOC)

Main
Here
Happy 2 year anniversary to our lil rp! Here's a prompt: for a big celebration among the Smash Bros, what would your characters most likely be doing? Would they be in the fray of it all? Or maybe trying to sneak off?

Also just a side note, I'll be working on Sora during the week, possibly even tomorrow since it has been forever, and do Byleth later in the week
Sorry for taking so long to respond to this prompt!

Pit will be actively involved in preparing for the celebration, no doubt about it! I can even see him going into "Captain Mode" and cheerfully giving orders to his helpers and making sure his assigned portion of the preparations is completed. Hijinks likely ensue due to Palutena's involvement, much to his chagrin.

Whether or not Dark Pit gets involved depends on how much he cares about the subject of the celebration and how pushy everyone else is being in regards to him being a part of the preparations. There's also a possibility that he may get involved if there is an opportunity to one-up Pit. If there is too much hustle and bustle, Dark Pit is likely to avoid being a part of it, but I can't see him turning down a simple request for help if asked politely from someone he has a good relationship with.

Toon Link will be very happy to help, but it is best to assign him tasks that will keep him active and busy, and with little down time in between, otherwise he may end up taking a nap. He doesn't mean to do it! It is probably for the best that the Links are not assigned tasks together as they'll encourage each other to nap.

Pikachu is more likely to observe than help unless someone asks for her aid and gives her instructions on what to do.

I forgot I even posted a prompt given how quiet things have been lol. I appreciate you still deciding to respond to it regardless

I might start working on a Joker post here in the next few days since things have been a bit quiet and it’s been a bit. Before I do I figured I’d ask SheepKing SheepKing any plans on making a post? Not rushing or anything, just curious. I know you have a few characters to post for so it’s not a problem if you don’t.

Hopefully we can find some spark and keep this chugging along. I’d hate to see it die off

Dgsjfhd speaking about having a spark…

I’m so sorry for putting this off for so long but I think now I should really say something. For a couple of months now I’ve kinda sort of lost my general interest for the rp…kinda. Like don’t get me wrong I’m still incredibly invested in the concept, the characters, and all of y’all but everytime it’s time for me to post I’ve found that I kinda lost that spark that made me look forward to writing the next post. I think this is due to a variety of reasons such as general fatigue and a sudden switch in my current hyper-fixation, and eventually I do really think I’ll be able to get that drive back again, but for now I think I may need to take a break from this rp 🙇‍♀️

I understand, and don't feel bad! This is a two year old RP so I expect burn out. Definitely take a break if you need it. Hopefully that creative spark comes back soon. I'll still be here! 👍

If you want, I can send you a PM with plans I had in regards to Zelda's meeting of Lunaris and the events following that.

That would be great! And thank you so much for understanding, I still feel really bad about not saying something earlier, and I really wanna try to and make sure that things can keep going smoothly while I take my break from the rp, so let me know if there’s anything I can do to help make sure that’s the case!

Honestly completely fair to need a break and I get it. Hopefully you can find that spark again soon. I’ll have to do some thinking in my end in how to move forward. I’ll probably do that before working on Joker so I can take this all into consideration plus kinda had my muse dip tonight so gonna give myself time and not force any writing

On other interactions I’ll have to give some thought too but won’t be trying to push anything soon. All I know is I don’t plan on disappearing any time soon

I'm still fine for doing whatever needs to be done on my end, although I may need to put the whole Roxanne idea on the backburner for now, if mainly because I'm feeling as if while it is definitely a part of the world, it's not necessarily something that feels like it currently fits cohesively into the whole story being told at the moment. Regardless, I hope things will be fine soon! Don't push yourselves too hard about this, guys!

It's all good! Sometimes one needs to take a break and not think about the RP at all in order to refresh their muse.

So I’m having a bit of trouble thinking of how I want to approach Joker and his group moving forward. Obviously I know he can react to the whole Lechonk and all but I kinda have to figure out how to pull Ann back in and make something out of it all. Admittedly I’m pretty stuck

An idea that came to my mind is having Toon Link spot the fleeing Lechonk and using that to lead his group to Joker's. I can make a T'ink post for it before you post for Joker if you want. I'm up for planning if you'd rather not do that, however.

That would be cool with me. I know we talked about merging those two groups as an idea before so I don't mind letting it happen now. Would definitely be a big help I think

Another thing I'd like to talk about is the Lake Group: right now it is just SheepKing and myself there. I have plans to remove the inactive characters from the scene (Lunaris has an army on the way over there), and it is no longer a busy area if people want to move characters there, or have other ideas of what to do with it.

I could have Yoshi end up there to help in some regard since I haven’t figured out what to do with him yet or maybe some wacky bs could happen and Shulk could end up there to help time to dispatch the Chuckster LOL or even both of these could happen since I don’t mind combining some of my characters together. It’d probably help make less groups as well. Only problem would be Shroomie with the Ice Climbers, but it has been months and admittedly I’m kinda ready to just push forward with Shulk, or simply drop him if that ends up being the better option

Lol Lunaris's troops caused a lot of damage and were about to leave when a chucked Shulk strikes them, causing a chain of events that saves the SSB and the humiliated army to leave! Or he strikes Samus's ship which causes enough damage to prevent flight. It wasn't witnessed by any one and the Golden Eyes are blamed instead, much to Shulk's relief!

Shroomie Shroomie It has been a while since your last posts. I want to ask if you have plans on making any in the near future?

I'm really sorry about my missing posts, but as you already know I'm trying to run my own RP which is eating up a lot of my free time as of late. I think I'll have to take a short hiatus for now, definitely not saying that I'm dipping out of this rp 🙏

Thank you for letting me know.

I can get Toon Link and Daisy to Joker's group so that will take care of things there. I'll have to think of something for poor Pauline as she's been stuck for a long time. There is also the situation with Shulk. If we go the Chuckster route, we can pretend the Ice Climbers have been chucked alongside him and they've been present the entire time.

Good thing Shulk is an engineer and could try to fix it after the fact if Samus would even let him touch it LOL. But yeah it’s just an idea for him to help move things along if necessary. I figure I can offer what I have

And given we now have two people on hiatus well… I guess Roxas goes on hiatus for now since he’s just kinda stuck with that. Given his role is minimal that’s fine though. I’ll work on getting to Mythra next week probably so that can keep moving.

Also maybe an idea to help Pauline since Yoshi is still in play, he could be brought to the Citadel as prisoner and perhaps she sees it? While the ties between then in Mario are pretty much non-existent still could offer something of familiarity?

I still live btw! Sorry for the radio silence on my end. It's almost Thanksgiving break for me and I can clear up some free-time for some quality posts again 😎

I beat the base game of FF14. A friend of mine who encouraged me to give the game a try was very excited when I reached the Heavensward expansion, and I now know why: there are so many parallels to the story there and the backstory of Lunaris in this RP!
The dragons were betrayed by men, who slew one of them and took their eyes so that they may gain the dragon's power. A blood curse was inflicted upon those men and their descendants. A false legend was created to trick the descendants of men into believing the dragons are evil beings and that the war against them is a holy one.

I plan to get a Toon Link post out tomorrow and have his group join Joker's so at least T'ink and Daisy aren't stuck. NimbusWing NimbusWing I am so very sorry about your characters being stuck, and I'm trying to come up with remedies for it.

The air is damp and heavy, the faint smell of mildew permeating the ancient stone corridors. Flickering torches cast long, sinister shadows on the walls. Agahnim, Stefan, and Shiri are venturing deep into the dungeon on a mission to retrieve a magical artifact said to help control Stefan’s illness. Shiri, glowing faintly, flits nervously above Stefan’s shoulder as they walk.

Shiri: (whispering) This place gives me the creeps. Do we have to be down here, Master Agahnim?

Agahnim: (calmly, examining a crumbling map) Unfortunately, yes. The Tome of Resonance is rumored to be hidden somewhere in this wretched labyrinth. If it helps Stefan as much as the legends suggest, it’ll be worth enduring a few... inconveniences.

Stefan: (grumbling) Inconveniences? This whole dungeon screams “death trap.” Have you seen those spikes back there? And the floor tiles that just decided to start flying at us? What’s next, man-eating doors?

Shiri: (shuddering) Don’t even joke about that!

They turn a corner and enter a large, eerie chamber with high, vaulted ceilings. The walls are covered in moss, and faint, almost imperceptible scratching sounds echo around them.

Stefan: (eyeing the room suspiciously) Alright, what’s the trick here? Is the floor going to drop out from under us? Giant spiders? Some cursed statue that shoots lasers?

Agahnim: (studying the room carefully) Nothing obvious. Stay close, Stefan, and watch your footing. The tome is supposed to be further ahead, but this room feels... off.
As if on cue, Shiri notices something—an ominous shadow begins to grow on the floor near Stefan. Her glow dims as she gasps, eyes wide.

Shiri: (panicking) Stefan, move! Above you!

Stefan looks up just in time to see the massive, clawed hand of a Wallmaster descending from the darkness above. Before he can react, the hand grabs him with a sickeningly firm grip and yanks him upward into the shadows.

Stefan: (screaming) AAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAH!

Shiri: (shrieking, darting upward after him) Agahnim! It took Stefan!

Agahnim: (whirling around, confused) Took him? What do you mean, took him? Where is he?

Shiri: (fluttering frantically) A Wallmaster! It grabbed him and dragged him into the the abyss! The ABYSS!

Agahnim: (grimacing) Of course, a Wallmaster... Follow me. I know where he is.

Stefan plummets unceremoniously onto the cold, damp floor of the dungeon entrance. He lies there for a moment, stunned and flabbergasted, before turning on to his side and curling up in a fetal position. A few minutes pass before Agahnim and Shir find Stefan at the tunnel entrance.

Shiri: (flying over to him, relieved) Stefan! You’re okay! I thought you were gone forever!

Agahnim: (trying not to laugh) Welcome back. Did you enjoy the scenic route?

Stefan: (remains in fetal position)

Agahnim: ...Done with what?

Stefan: Everything... I’m done... I’m quitting magic, I’m moving to a farm, and I’m raising Cuccos for the rest of my life...

Agahnim: A very modest alternative, but before you can do any of that, we really do need to get a hold of that tome. Meaning, I'm still in need of your help.

Stefan: I don't wanna...

Agahnim: But you have to...

Stefan: I don't wanna...

Agahnim lets out a sign before approaching Stefan. He begins messing around with Stefan's fabrics and before anyone knew it, Agahnim was carrying Stefan like a backpack, having turned the fabric into sashes to which to carry his apprentice as he was still curled up. Agahnim treks back into the dungeon, knowing this would be an arduous task that laid ahead of him.

Once again, I'm not too worried about the fact that both of them have been stuck for all of this time. At the very least, thank you for giving me some notice, and I've been keeping myself occupied outside of here so there's been no issues or complaints. Hoping for something good!

Thank you very much! This one got a chuckle out of me. Cucco-farmer Stefan would make for a possibly amusing AU. 🐔Poor Stefan must really be at the end of his rope if he's willing to give up despite a possible cure for his affliction being so close! I had a funny thought of the Wallmasters catching Agahnim and Stefan, and returning them to the dungeon entrance over and over again no matter how stealthy they were being. Then it is revealed that the Wallmasters can smell the bitter-leaf-and-fish-eye stew on them, and that is how they keep being discovered.

Stefan: Those %^&*@$' things can SMELL?! They don't have faces!!
