I see Dark Pit as being very bad at things such as comforting others and apologizing. I can see him sneaking into Zelda's room to place a Silent Princess on her bed stand and quickly leave, not noticing in his haste and nervousness that he's left a few feathers behind. But our Zel would probably appreciate the gift no matter which fighter actually is the one to give it to her (maybe she sees it as a group gift and thanks all of them equally) dhskfhsof but hopefully Silent Princesses are more common in her time period so it’s not as huge of a deal to pick one lol
Those are cute HCs! I learned about Chain Chomps from Link's Awakening, so I called them Bow Wows for the longest time. Many folks were puzzled by this! XD Once in a while I run into someone who hears me refer to the creatures as Bow Wows and picks up that I played Zelda more than Mario.Dgsjfhd all of this talk about Zelda has got me thinking and, taking inpso from @Ploegy’s occasional headcanon/thought thingie lists for a few of their characters, I present to y’all a few of my personal headcanons for The Great Princess of Hyrule!
- Zelda’s biggest comfort food is Apple Pie that’s specifically made with the apples from Link’s Orchard
- As previously mentioned (dgsjfh sorry for repeating the same factoid a bagillion times
- (Unrelated Fun fact in the manga instead of turning into a rabbit in the Dark World, Link almost transformed into a wolf!
- I think it’d be very cute if Zelda’s been secretly trying to set Ghanti up with Link
- (Dgsjdjdof but she probably stopped out of respect after Link’s whole imaginary seagull girlfriend fiasco)
- Speaking of, while Zelda and Link are really good friends, they don’t actually see each other all that often as Link is usually off exploring who knows where. But they’ll pretty often write letters to each other about how their days went, if there’s any juicy gossip, and other menial stuff like that
- while Zelda has at some point thought about marrying Link (Strictly in the form of a political marriage, the wealthy version of marrying for tax benefits
- This has no basis in canon whatsoever but I think it would be funny if Zelda fucking loves cheesy vampire novels or whatever Hylian equivalent there is to the genre.
- Also I think it would be very cute if her favorite animal were Chain Chomps!
- (Omg she was probably so exited to learn that the mushroom kingdom also has the species roaming about)
- Seeing as a princess she’d need to be in tune with the arts, I could see her being skilled at instruments such as the harp and the lyre
- Zelda knows very little about the actual goddess Hylia herself, as in her era the term ‘Hylia’ was used to refer to the ancient race of peoples that lived in Hyrule. If anything most of her knowledge about the actual goddess herself was probably acquired through learning it second hand from Botw Link
- (dgsjfhd maybe it’s OOC but I think it would be funny if for a while she merely assumed that Link was just a heretic)
- Although the triforce of wisdom was in possession of the royal family after the events of Oracle of ages/seasons, I like to think that Zelda wouldn’t actually have it on her physical person until the events of smash ultimate

But speaking of gifts, I’ve been thinking about why Zelda would have been so interest in examining the Pit’s wings/Palutena’s flight magic and well, maybe for Xmas/their birthday she wanted to craft a pair of Pegasus boots for the two of them but needed a lil help in figuring out how the magic was applied to them, thus the wing examination! Dhsjfhd while the boots wouldn’t give them actual flight it’s certainly a step in the right direction right?Gdskjdhakf omfg that’d be so adorable

Byleth isn't a retainer though so he wouldn't have any stories. He is a mercenary turned professor. He kinda becomes an advisor to whichever house leader the player chose, but that's in the timeskip/second half of the game

To elaborate a bit more on this, as I was at work when I made the above post, I don't see Dark Pit really being the type to open his heart and talk about his feelings, even if Roxas wants to talk about things such as hearts and what it means to exist. He'd relate very well, sure, but I don't think he'd want to have a deep conversation about it. However, I'm sure Zelda and Roxas can lend each other a listening ear, and while it's not the same situation I'm sure Zelda can relate to Roxas somewhat with the whole reincarnation thing.
It could be simple curiosity! It's not everyday that one gets to meet an angel! The idea of the Pits being given Pegasus Boots is adorable though! Pit would obviously be delighted. I can see Dark Pit holding the boots close, keeping his back to Zelda and muttering an awkward, "Uh... Thanks." He's never been given a gift before!Awww that’s so friggin cute

Oh no, Luke definitely needs protection! He's a smart, sweet, and spirited boy, but a fighter he's not! There have been moments where he has tried to fight the enemy to protect someone, but it's not very effective, poor kid.

Sounds good! I was figuring the plains area beforehand would have more Bokoblins and Moblins plus possibly working in some enemies from the series the characters in the group are from so knowing all this helps me flesh out what's about to happen
