They decide to hang around Dark Pit, and consider him a part of the group, but he’s just annoyed as hell by their insistence on sticking with him.

I’d like to pick up the grumpy boi, but as GM I’m going to wait a while before picking up new characters. Picking up both Pits is kinda greedy! I’d have to think of a way to keep Pittoo with a group as well. Even if folks were going the same way he is, he’d still go off on his own.

Maybe Peach feeds him lol

I had a sudden change of schedule and decided I would go ahead and make a decision now. I'm reading through the main page but I'd love to RP with this group. You guys seem like great RPers and, although I'm not familiar with Ultimate and it's been years since I played Brawl, I'm interested to try my hand at a canon character and see the dynamics between characters from such different worlds.

Would it be fine if I claimed Solid Snake?

I'll have a post up tonight or tomorrow. I did want to ask two things, though:

I'm thinking of having part of this interpretation of Snake's motivation to set up Philanthropy being the monitoring of the Smash Realm after the Subspace Emissary and World of Light. Would it be a problem to say that Philanthropy had been monitoring the Smash Verse over the course of this year? It feels in character to have Snake go in with the idea that something is wrong and prepare for that beforehand.

And the second thing is kind of bundled into the last statement: is there anyone who would want their character to have kept in contact with Snake over that year? Most likely so that both or all of them could benefit from Philanthropy's surveillance of the Smash Verse.

I think a professional-based contact with Samus could also work. I wouldn’t imagine it being too often but I see them talking once every blue moon or so.

Yeah, I can see that easily. I think that Samus and Snake are alike in ways that mean they can get along really well. At the very least, the can relate to all they times they've been thrown into a mission with no gear or backup.

I don't know much about Metal Gear, but it does make sense to me that, while everyone else agrees to meet up once a year to share news, Snake would take initiative.

This also works out because it can help reveal the BBEG of the RP. I haven't revealed them yet as I wanted to give folks time to set things up on their own; I don't want to railroad folks into going after this one guy! Instead I've been trying to slowly introduce other villains to play with, and give players a chance to set up their own villains and storylines.

Oh that sounds neat! What are the criteria for villains and storylines tho?
