I mean, Pika Libre is a female Pikachu, so it's not impossible. Just uncommon given we don't see alot of Pikachus after Gen 1 or Gen 2.

I know that there are female Pika options in Smash, but Pikachu in the SSE and WoL cutscenes is male. That’s what I meant by “not exactly canon”

To jump on that Bowser discussion (I was at work, then the gym) Bowser is such a good dad!
In the old RP, Bowser was the fun dad, Zelda was the nice mom, Samus was the strict mom, and Peach was the fun aunt that spoiled the kids. Bowser could actually get through to the kids where the other adults couldn't!
There was a constant running joke of everyone mistaking Toon Link for Link and Zelda's child, and Link getting criticized for being a bad dad. XD
