Fantasy "Super" Powers

"Elizabeth..." Leo said to himself putting the name to memory. He liked it seemed to fit her. Letting go of her hand he carded it through his hair looking around. The two seemed to handle the tumble themselves he held his hand out to Elizabeth opening some imaginary door in his own mind, in a lead the way, type of fashion. "Sweet, let's not go with what she's drinking don't want to loose my focus." he laughed a bit loudly eyeing the bar the majority of the patrons had congregated there so he figured that was the place to be. "I will take a Jack and Coke if you have it." he said then spied a very dark figure.

He couldn't help himself, it was almost as bad as the gravity intolerance he was having these days. "Love the hair!" he said taking a seat at the table with the girl. (@xXGodoftheGeeksXx) "Name's Leo, nice to meet you." he was all smiles, not at all aware that he might not be wanted there.

Alex watched as the girl fell, he would have rushed after her but Elizabeth and others went to her aid. He noted one of the customer with an I pod sitting on her own. He walked up go her noting she looked young to be here. "Would you like something to drink? Cost you a look of you I'd. "

"Pretty sure she was drinking water..." Elizabeth mumbled as she walked towards the bar and began preparing the drink for Leo. She finished making the drink after a few minutes and walked towards him and placed the drink in front of him. "So... What brings you here?" Elizabeth asked trying to form a conversation to delay having to clean up the broken glass.

Leo grinned to himself, happy the girl was speaking to him. Over his head went her mood of don't talk to me. "That's really cool wish I could do that...but I don't have the hair, speaking of hair is your hair white?" he asked the girl not so far away curled in on herself. He was speaking so fast it would be a wonder if anyone undersood him. Elizabeth brought him his drink and he smiled drumming his hands on the table. "New place, new adventure." he said in a very happy manner looking from each girl to the other.

A feeling again. "Darn." he muttered standing. "Your bathroom work?" he asked seeing the fading sign on a dingy door heading for it. He hated to leave in the middle of the conversation but he needed to ground himself.

Elizabeth wanted to stay there and talk to the others more but she had to work and she had tried talking to the girl before but she didn't seem like someone who enjoyed talking to others as much as Elizabeth did. She got a broom and an old magazine and began cleaning the broken glass. It didn't take as much as she thought it would take but she didn't enjoy it. She threw the broken glass in the trash and sat down on one of the booths.

Greg motioned to take his seat again after the drowsy girl seemed alright. But, he found his body stopping itself, and he looked around again at all of the customers before looking back at the girl. Something was just... off, not just with them individually, but as a collective group. And that sudden shock he felt. That wasn't him. It couldn't have been. He felt an overwhelming need to escape somewhere for a little while. Greg could feel the cold itch at him, making his heart race. Quickly, he moved toward the bathroom and went inside, nearly bursting the door open.

But, his sanctuary would be for naught. Standing before him, he saw a young man, looking to be a bit older than Greg himself. He gave the man a slight nod before lowering his gaze down to the floor and entering one of the dirty stalls. Taking a seat on the porcelain toilet, he found himself reading the graffiti and crude etchings that littered the stall's wall. That was merely to distract himself from a more horrid truth, however. The itching chill was worsening, and his panic only grew. The air around him was certainly growing colder, and Greg could once again start to see his breathe freeze in the air.

Ash looked up at the question she was asked, and bobbed her head, "Yeah…" She mumbled to the boy, watching as he left toward the bathroom. She huffed, and instead inspected her feet again, looking at their bases. She frowned when she realised one had a long cut, which was sluggishly bleeding, leaving a mark on the chair. She shrugged, hoping no one noticed her, and instead curled up again, not even feeling the pain in her feet due to their cold state

Echo reached out to her water bottle, once she grabbed it she quickly snatched her hand back. A burning sensation tickled her palm as she looked at the smoke bubbling from it, she clenched her hand into a fist to hide the smoke.

It was scary, knowing she wasn't able to control this stupid power. Now she knew she could never touch water again.

Looking around again, Ash noticed something strange. Another girl (@Fantasy Crazy ) was watching a water bottle, yet the curious thing was, when she reached for it, smoke appeared from no where. Frowning, she watched curiously, wanting to limp over and see if the girl was like her, a 'freak', but found herself too afraid to ask

Echo looked up from her hand and saw a girl( @WolfOfProphecys ) staring at her, she was worried the girl had seen what'd happened. Shw tried playing it off and smiled at her, as if nothing happened. She quickly put her hand next to her, to hide the smoke.

Carefully Ash stood, limping slightly and leaving a barely noticeable trail of red from the cut on her foot as she shyly wandered over to the other girl, settling on a seat nearby, "D-Did you just…" She waved her hand to the air, "Burn something?" She asked softly, tilting her head

(@Fantasy Crazy )

Ash blinked, then frowned, "I'm fine. It'll heal." She mumbled, clearly not liking the other worrying about her, "You smell of fire" She stated, "And smoke" She continued quietly, watching the other girl

(@Fantasy Crazy )

Echo blinked, she tried to come up with an excuse, "Oh, I just had an, uh, a campfire." She knew if she told anyone the truth, they would be scared of her, or tell her to get away from thwm, like her dad did.

@WolfOfProphecys

Ash's nose twitched, and she frowned, "Right…" She huffed, lifting her injured foot off the floor, not having the courage to continue. Besides, what if what she had seen had been a trick of the light? She growled at herself, forgetting about the girl sitting near.

(@Fantasy Crazy )

Echo frowned, she wanted to tell the girl the truth but she was afraid, "Hey," she said, "What happened to your leg?" Echo thought that maybe, just maybe, the other girl had something similar to her. It was a very slim chance that she did, but it was worth a shot.

@WolfOfProphecys

Ash looked at the other in confusion, and shrugged, lifting her leg to rest upon the other, looking at the gash on the bottom of her bare foot, and shrugged, "Must have stepped on something" She responded, "Never notice I suppose…feet were too cold"

(@Fantasy Crazy )

Echo nodded, not sure of what to say next. Her hand had finally stopped smoking so she put it back on the table. The faint scwnt of smoke still lingered, but not as much.

@WolfOfProphecys

Ash noticed the scent, but said nothing, lowering her foot again, "You know….smoke doesn't usually smell that strong" She told the other, frowning, "When'd you say you had a campfire? I thought those were at night?"

(@Fantasy Crazy )

Echo lowered her head, "Yea, I had it last night, I just left this sweatshirt next to it," she said pointing at her sweatshirt, "So it smells pretty strong." To Echo it sounded pretty convincing.

"Its a fresh scent" Ash growled, "And its not just on your clothes" She pointed out. Her canine senses were working without her even knowing it, and so her sense of smell was better than usual

((I've been busy so I'm gonna jump in))

Erika walked down the street with her hood up. She walked by a bar and decided to go in. She pulled out her fake I.D and walked in. When she walked in she see the place had a mess of people in it. She fixed her glasses and hood. She sat in the corner of the room.

Echo sighed, "If I told you what it really was you would run away." She continued to look at her dirty shoes. She was scared to tell anyone about her power. If her loving, caring dad had thrown her out because of it, wouldn't everyone else?

@WolfOfProphecys

Ash grunted, and looked at her. Trusting her instincts that the girl was somewhat like her, and deciding that it was her only choice if she wanted answers, she responded, "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours" With that, she placed her hand on the table, partially shifting only her hand, so that fur coated it, and nails turned into claws. Besides, if she was wrong about the girl, she could just run
