Echo looked at the girl's hand in disbelief, she was like her. Echo lifted her hand up and focused, a small flame appeared and she winced. She quickly closed her hand and looked back at the other girl.

Emma overheard the two girls talking. Emma's eyes focused on the flame in the blonde girl's (@Fantasy Crazy ) hand.


"A flame...she's holding a flame..." Emma whispered. "And the other one...her hand...those are powers...or special FX. Either way it's extraordinary..."

Ash smiled, forcing her hand to shift back with concentration, and looked at the other, "You're like me." She stated, tilting her head, not realising someone was watching them

Echo smiled back at the girl, "I'm Echo." She saw someone (@xXGodoftheGeeksXx ) looking at them, but brushed it off. She figured the girl hadn't seen anything but their faces.

"I'm Ash" The other girl responded happily, glad she wasn't the only one with powers. She smiled at the other, still keeping her foot off the floor, as she watched the other curiously, "What brings you here?" She asked, gesturing around

Emma knew what she saw, but she didn't say anything about it. She was going to take a sip of the beer glass in front of her until she realized that it was gone.


She just paused her life for a split second before running her nail around the edges of the glass.

Echo considered telling Ash the truth, but lied again, "Oh, just seeing if I could actually touch water." She looked back at the girl who was looking at them curiously. Maybe she had seen the fire?

She looked away as soon as Echo looked her way. "Fire...that was definitely fire in her hand." Emma whipered to herself.


She assumed that the blonde could do that at will...like some kind of power, maybe? Like her?

Ash nodded her head, not replying with her own reason. Besides, she didn't need pity, though she couldn't come up with a lie for why she was here, and instead tried to keep the subject on the other girl, "Can you?". She could have sworn that she had heard the word fire from somewhere behind her, and twisted around curiously, then shook her head and looked back at Echo

Echo shook her head, "No." She said sadly, she looked back at the girl, who had mouthed something about fire. Echo was praying she was talking about someone else.

Ash nodded slowly, "I know how you feel" She said softly, "I can't afford to get upset or angry" She continued, looking at her, though not explaining why. She noticed the other eyeing the girl she had seen before, and turned to look again

Great...now she's looking over here. She probably knows I saw.





At this point Emma knew that both of them saw, it was clear as crystal. She decided to brush it off, in hopes they wouldn't say anything about it.

Echo nodded, she decided it was best to not ask any questions, to avoid complications. She smiled to the girl who was looking at them.

Emma nervously smiled back. She wondered what Echo's future was going to be like but she decided not to use her power. It might have been a good future so she wouldn't be able to see.

Ash nodded to the other, looking back at Emma, then at Echo, "You think we should invite her over?" She asked, tilting her head

Echo nodded, "Yea," she looked back at Ash, "She looks nice." Echo knew looks were deceiving, but she might actually be nice.

Ash nodded, "I'll go ask" She responded, and limped over to the other girl, "H-Hello….want to join us?" She asked, gesturing over to the table, "Only, we noticed you watching us"

She smirked a bit. "So you know that I know, huh?...heh...yeah...I won't say anything. She promised them.

Ash nodded, then Practically dragged the girl over to their table and settled again, wincing in pain due to her injured foot, "Come on"

"Uh....hi..." Emma said very quietly and awkwardly. She didn't want to be here that much, but she was basically dragged here so there was no way out.

Ash smiled at her, feeling safer with Echo nearby, with someone like her near, and softly introducing herself after taking a seat, "I'm Ash, and this is Echo" she told the other

Echo smiled at the girl who had joined them, "Hi," she was still a bit afraid of what the girl's reaction would be to Ash's and her own powers.

There were too many people in one area for Cynthia's liking, the atmosphere seeming a lot more tense than it probably was. She got up to go to the bathroom, more for privacies sake than an actual need to relieve herself. On her way over, he passed the three girls who were sitting at the table conversing among themselves. She didn't mean to eavesdrop, really she didn't, it just sort of happened.


"D-did you, did you just m-make a fi-fire?" she stuttered out unintentionally, almost too quiet to hear.

Guess I'm not the only one who saw... Emma thought. She didn't really say anything seeng as the attention was taken off of her and on to the girl that had approached the three.

Echo looked up at the girl who had asked her if she made fire, "I, uh. . ." She would've come up with an excuse but she was caught off guard and had nothing to say, her mind was blank.
