Calvin eyes look dark and Spike looks back at him worried knowing that the boy with the lion consume him Calvin said "Because he is the man that will die by my hands he took away something precious to me"

Riley's eyes widened and she sidestepped to stand closer to Faye. "Um...okay. Well all I know is that we saw a boy with a lion in one city but it maybe a different boy," Riley said.

Calvin look seriously at eye "Was it recently and was the city close by I need to know all you know"

Riley went blank on trying to force her memory so instead Faye answered ,"About 6 months ago in a city named Lucion town that I would say is about 40 miles away from Juniver town."

Calvin looks down "Oh so it that long ago that boy is gone by now, but thank you for the info" to change the conversation Spike said "So what other kind of mutants have you two fought"

 

[Life.]

"Oh the sudden interest," Faye sneered. Riley lightly slapped Faye and answeres the question, "We have fought regular mutants, theb mutants like the one we saw. Oh and multiplying mutants, those are annoying though. But fun since their weakness is light. It doesn't burn them but they are fascinated by the light so you can distract them. And the nastiest mutant we fought was a huge eight-legged monkey with spider eyes."

Spike looked surprised at all the experience they had, but then his eyes glared "But tell me how many of them gained intelligence like the one we fought"

Riley quickly responded, "Just this recent one. The others never really understood our movements so this one was a surprise."

Spike looks worried at the information that she told him and said "Then we must find the code fast if we do not we have no idea what can we do if we have to fight a mutant with intelligence"

"Yes hearing from Riley's stories and this recent one I think the mutants are evolving," Alice gravely stated.

calvin fell down from the pain in his ankle and is panting hard from the pain "Hey would you guys mind giving me about a 5 minute break I think I can't walk any further without a break"

 

[Life.]

Alice looked up to the sky to see the sun at an approaching angle to the horizon, "Five minutes should be good. We need to rest but not too long. Nighttime is when most mutants like to come out." She plopped her bag down and pulled out the snacks she had prepared and ready for the trip. She handed one bag of almonds to Calvin and then she gave the other bag to Riley. "But don't you need these? Besides you packed them for you and him not us," Riley argued. Alice pushed the bag closer to her, "I insist. Anyways I can wait till we get back to eat. I am not that hungry at the moment."

Calvin pass Alice a bag he has in his bag "Here eat I had some in my bag you need some energy so while we are waiting here why don't you tell us about yourself Riley"

 

[Life.]

Alice knew she couldn't argue with Calvin so she took the half-eaten bag and finished off the rest. Pip strayed off to catch a mouse and Faye went along with him to see if she could catch any prey. Riley sat down on the ground criss-crossing her legs. Alice did the same to rest her legs. "About myself, eh? Okay well me and Faye have been searching for the kill code for months. Just the two of us. Me and Faye used to be a part of this group with about 8 members. But one day a giant horde of mutants attacked our camp. The others protected us so that we can escape. And sadly they didn't make it..." Riley's eyes were staring off into the distance. Riley then continued on, "And well I am about the age of 11. I used to have a family. Brother, mother, and father. But I don't know what happened to them. Our town was burning down and I got lost in the smoke. So what about you guys?"

Spike curls up to calvin and calvin place his leg on a rock and start saying "Well as you can tell by my dark skin I am an African American form America, but we moved down when my parents were station here they were both in the military which explains why I am so good with a gun during a mutant attack my parents sacrifice their lives to safe mine and my sister, but then while traveling together my sister and I met this boy with a lion who we trusted and followed to survive" tears come to Calvin's eyes "But one day the boy had his lion kill my sister and her dog in front of me one day and said the words "Sorry her sister slowed me down a bit the strong should always kill the weak right Calvin" while smiling we fought and I gave him a scar on the eye but his lion knocked out both Spike and I before we know it at that time I thought I couldn't trust no one again" he smiles "But then I met Alice and Pip and they helped me find my heart again and that the end to my story"

 

[Life.]

Alice smiled and then began her story, "Well I am from here, America. I lived in an average town but was kidnapped from my parents at the age of 7 because the people who stole me needed 'slaves'. But soon I escaped along with others. I kept running and running. For years until I met Calvin when I was about 14. And now I'm 16. So we have been traveling together for about 2 years. I know my parents are alive because I can feel it in my heart and well but I do miss them dearly." Pip came back holding two mice while Faye came back caring a doe. Riley turned towards Faye, "Wow what a great catch!"

Calvin took out some spices matches and firewood from his bag "While we are here we don't we cook the deer and eat to replenish our stamina?"

 

[Life.]

"We can do that but we must do it quickly," Alice said as she looked towards the sun. Faye walked over to Calvin and dropped the deer in front of him, "I would like his stomach if you don't mind." Then she clambered over to lay down next to Riley as she waited for the meat to cook. Pip took a seat next to Alice and began munching down on his mice, raw.

"Right I'll do it as fast as I can" he takes out a knife and take off the skin he takes the stomach out and handed it to Faye and give Spike the heart like we likes it he put the meat in the boiling water in the pan over the fire he made then added on a little bit of salt and pepper to add test then after that he put the meat on the sticks he had and grilled them over the fire and gave it to Alice and Riley "Dinner is served and Oh yeah Riley I forgot to tell you I am 17" he smiles "So as being older than you I promise to protect you"

 

[Life.]

"Thank you," Alice said and grabbed the stick and began chewing on the meat. "Oh you don't have to protect me! I know some wicked fighting moves! The previous group I was with taught me it," Riley commented as she grabbed the stick from him and bit off a whole chunk.

he start to eat some of the meat and then rubs Riley head because she reminded him of his sister "Well then Riley I will be counting on you to protect me and Alice with your wicked fighting moves how do you like the meat"

 

[Life.]

Riley smacked the meat around in her mouth for a moment then swallowed it. "Eh, could've been cooked a bit longer," Riley answered. Alice just giggled softly and continued eating. "Guess Calvin knows how to undercook," Pip commented.

he gets in his depress mode again "I guess I never be able to cook at all it seem like I will just cause people problems" Spike laughs "Do not mind him he always get in his depress mode when no one like is cooking he will be fine in a little bit"

 

[Life.]

Riley was concerned for a moment at the sudden change of expression of Calvin but soon she was giggling when Spike reassured her. "So he always undercooks?" Riley asked Alice. Alice's eyes sparkled and she nodded. Pip licked around his mouth once he was done with his meal and Faye did the same thing. As soon as Alice was finished with her stick she asked, "Okay so are we all done and ready to continue on?"
