Faye stopped when they reached the hideout. "So this is where you live huh?" Faye commented. She looked at the one-story home that had the characteristics of a cottage. Alice caught up with Faye and said, "Cute isn't?" Faye nodded.

Calvin say to Faye "we have extra rooms for you and Riley when we get in and Alice would you mind caring me too bed?" Spike walks in and lay in his bed downstairs "If I hear a mutant I'll wake you up" he falls asleep

Alice nodded. "Faye I can show you where the extra rooms are once I get Calvin to bed. Just wait here," Alice said, gesturing to the kitchen. Faye nodded and walked over to the kitchen.

Calvin said to Alice "Sorry to say this but I will probably need a day or two of rest before we can go out traveling again"

 

[Life.]

Alice said, "That's fine. I'd rather rest for a few days anyways we've been traveling quite a bit. We need to train also so we can do that." She left Calvin on his bed and said, "Goodnight. Don't worry about breakfast. I will cook, my treat!" Alice walked out of his room closing his door after she left. She walked towards the kitchen and called out, "Faye? You there?" Alice walked in to find the tiger dozing off. "I-I'm awake..." she yawned. Alice smiled and whispered, "Come this way. There is an empty room right next to mines." She approached Faye and grabbed Pip off her back. Faye got up slowly then crawled after Alice who waited for her in the hall. "This way," Alice prompted. Then she opened a room. "Here you go," she said. "Thank you," Faye whispered. "Here let me help you," Alice said. She placed Pip around her neck then grabbed Riley and placed her gently on the bed. Faye jumped onto the bed and laid around Riley. "Good night," Alice whispered. Faye nodded and placed her head down.

Calvin moan and squirm in his sleep imagining the day his sister was killed he see the lion and the boy but before he can stop him the mutant bear from today comes and slice him down then the boy said "Wow after all these years you still weak aren't you Calvin hahaha" he gets his lion to eat his sister in front of him then Calvin wakes up with sweat all over his body and screamed "Brittany!" He start breathing hard and calmed down saying "yeah that's right she gone"

Alice awoke with a start when she heard a scream. She fumbled around a bit looking for her bedlamp. She turned it on and found Pip awake with his whole body puffed up. "I think Calvin is having one of his nightmares again," Pip muttered once his fluff began settling down. Alice sighed and got out of her bed. She walked over to Calvin's room and opened his door, "Hey you okay?" She slowly walked into his room with Pip following her closely.

Calvin see Alice as be tries to get up he yell in pain from his injury and fell back to his bed and said "Yeah I am ok it's just kind of hard sleeping with this injury sorry for waking you"

Alice closed the door behind her and sighed, "That's okay. Here let me check your injury." She approached him and examined his injury. She saw that the bandages seemed to be soaked with blood but that the stitches it was covering wasn't leaking anything. "Hm, these bandages seemed to be old," Alice murmured. She walked over to the first-aid kit that was placed on a specific corner of each room. Alice replaced his bandages and made sure they were tied but not tight. "How does that feel now?" Alice asked.

Calvin said "It still hurts a whole lot but not as much as before I am guessing in about two days I will be fine to start moving but right now it's hard to really do anything with the pain right now"

 

[Life.]

Alice nodded then said, "Hold on a minute." She came back with two bags of frozen vegetables and placed then on top of the wound.

He smiles and said "Thanks Alice you are a good nurse with you I'll probably be heal in one day maybe"

"Naw, not one day maybe two," Alice said. "Now it shouldn't be in as much pain," Alice whispered. "I'm going back to bed now," she announced as she tiptoed out of the room.

he smiles and said "Goodnight Alice" he yawns and start to head to bed thinking that maybe the two days not doing anything having Alice taking care of me won't be so bad

Pip yawned, "What should be for breakfast?" Alice yawned back, "Don't know...so early and we slept so late." Her eyes squinted as more sunlight filled the room. She attempted to sit up but instantly fell asleep.


Two hours later, Pip and Alice woke up once again to the sound of knocking on their door. "Pip, Alice, breakfast is ready!" They both got up and looked at each other. "Who cooked breakfast?" Pip asked. "Surely not Calvin," Alice said. They rushed out of the room to find Riley holding a pan of eggs and Faye carrying the loaf of bread to the table.

Spike gets up with the smell of food that actually good for once he gets up and went to the kitchen and said "Its good to have some food that is not cooked by the idiot be once" calvin yell from the bedroom "Hey I heard that if I can get up I will get down and punch you!"

 

[Life.]

Riley gleefully says, "Hope you enjoy the food! My last group called me 'killer chef'!"


"Well I hope you live to that reputation. I will be the judge of that," Pip challenged. He took one bite out of the eggs and froze. "What's wrong Pip?" Alice asked. He turned towards her, "S-so....good." Pip gobbled down the rest of the eggs. "Pip! We needed to share with everyone!" Alice exclaimed. Riley giggled, "That's okay! I made more!" She pulled out two more pans of eggs.

Spike started to cry when he ate and said "I haven't been able to eat something edible so long being stuck with Calvin" he comes slowly down the stairs and said "I wish I can hurt you Spike so much"

 

[Life.]

"Here, Mr. Calvin! I saved a huge stack of eggs with bacon just for you. So that you can regain your strength faster," Riley said. She placed his plate down on an empty seat next to Spike. Alice and Pip were too engrossed into their food to greet Calvin.

he pats Riley head and said "Thanks Riley you are a really great cook" he takes a bite and taste it "This is amazing Riley you are a great cook and a great help unlike my own companion!" spike laughs and said "If you cooked better then maybe I will treat you better" as calvin try to hit Spike he forgot about his pain and he fell face first on the table "D-damn you Spike"
