Everybody around the table, except Faye, jumped once Calvin's head made contact with the table moving the items on it. "Oh Calvin are you okay?" Alice asked. Pip and Faye grumbled as they picked up the plates with their mouths and placed them back on the table.

calvin moans from the pain and said "Yeah sorry about that I forgot I can't really move around that much"

 

[Life.]

"That's okay. Here let me help you. I'm done eating," Alice offered. She scooted her chair closer to Calvin and grabbed his fork and picked up a piece of egg and said, "I'll feed you. Like if you were a baby." Pip gave a quick laugh while Faye snorted and Riley laughed.

Calvin blushes when she said that and said "Thanks, but I am no baby I just can't move I am the oldest one of us to begin with"

"Oh c'mon I was just teasing," Alice said, "Now seriously eat this. It will help you get better."

he starts eating it "Thanks for the help Alice and Riley you need to teach me how to cook like you"

"It's all thanks for my secret ingredient....love!" Riley exclaimed. "Love?" Pip repeated. She nodded.

Calvin start to think "Hmm the maybe my love for Alice is not strong enough" spike laughs "Hey idiot you saying that out loud" Calvin blushes and said "I-i meant to say my love for everyone"

Everyone grew silent, awkwardness taking place. "Uh-hum anyways. I mean love for cooking and food not uh-hum someone," Riley pointed out.

Calvin blushes a lot "Oh yeah that what you meant well I do love cooking too it seem like everytime I cook I do something wrong hahaha" spike laughs out in amusement and said "Calvin never makes us have a dull moment here right"

"Well once you are well again I shall see how you cook," Riley proclaimed. "Then once I see your mistakes I can help you," she offered. "I think we can both use a cooking lesson from you," Alice said.

calvin smiled and said "Thanks Riley I can't believe you are only ten you are very mature for your age" spike said "Yeah unlike you Calvin" calvin thinks "Man I want to punch hin" (going to bed night)

"I'm eleven not ten," Riley responded along with sticking her tongue out. " And well it takes practice and talent," she added.

Calvin smiles and said "Sorry Ms. Eleven year old I forgot and also I would try me best to practice and Alice can you feed me some of the bacon please?"

Alice nodded and picked up a piece of bacon. "Here you go," she said. "I hope you do!" Riley said.

he smiles as Alice feed her thinking "Man this is heaven" and he said to Riley "You are a really great cook Riley you remind of my sister"

Riley gave shy grin and shrugged, "Really it's nothing. I've always loved cooking." Once she was finished with her breakfast she placed the plates on the sink and asked, "Anyone want anything else to eat?" Faye and Pip shook her head no and Alice answered for her and Spike and Calvin, "I think we are all good thank you Riley."

Calvin smiles and yawned and said "Thanks for the food Riley it was really great is there anything that you want to do in particular while we have a few days off since you are the guest"

Riley hummed a bit trying to think of something. "Well nothing really comes into mind...oh! How about you teach me how to shoot a gun?" Riley suggested. Faye's eyes widened and she grumbled, "I don't think you need to be learning how to shoot a gun, Riley."


"But why not?" Riley asked.


"You already know how to use the sword so why learn to shoot a gun?" Faye argued back.


"Because I won't have my sword all the time," Riley retorted. Faye grunted, "Fine."

Calvin smiles and slowly stood up being able to lift himself up now and Spike said "Don't push yourself to hard don't forget I feel your pain to and you are in a lot" Calvin pats Spike and said "Don't worry about it I still can move properly and Riley I will gladly teach you how to use a gun I will show you our shooting range I made in the basement and teach you there"

 

[Life.]

"Yeah! And don't worry you don't have to demonstrate for me I have the basics down. I just need pointers and tips which don't require physical work from you," Riley assured Calvin. She followed along after him to the basement. "Shall we go along and watch?" Pip asked Alice. She nodded and picked him up following the line to the basement.

he heads down to the shooting range slowly because of the injury and when they get there there is a code which he need to type in to open it when they get down there, there is a whole lot of different kind of guns surrounding the whole room multiple targets with bullet marks in it and many practice dummies Calvin turned and asked Riley "So what kind of gun do you want to try?"

 

[Life.]

Faye answered for her, "Let's try a simple handgun first before she tries any other hazardous weapons." Riley gave a slight frown and said, "Fine." She walked over to the wall of gunfire and asked, "Soooo which one are the handguns?"

he gives her a handgun and said "Here this is a handgun see it fits in your hand it not to big or small so do you know how to shoot this gun"

Riley grabbed the gun and examined it. Hmmm doesn't seem too heavy and not too light either. Seems perfect. It's a bit too bulky though and my fingers don't seem long enough to even reach the trigger. "Mmm my fingers are too short...do you perhaps have a gun just about the same weight but smaller?" Riley asked.
