As spike and Calvin walk towards the creature a polar bear like mutant jumps at them Spike was able to dodge and Calvin took out one of its foot with his sword when it start to rush at Calvin Spike bites it neck and while it was busy with spike Calvin was able to stab it through it's head

 

[Life.]

Alice squeaked as the hissing changed into growling and became louder. A medium sized mutant panther jumped out of the shadows. Pip at first froze but regained his posture and jumped towards the panther's legs. The panther gave a growl of laughter at the pathetic attempt of Pip. The panther grabbes Pip by the scruff and threw him. Alice screamed. Pip landed with a thud. Alice stood frozen until she saw Pip breathing. She took a deep breath controlling the entire body pain that Pip was expierencing. Alice then charged at the panther. The panther tried to claw her but Alice easily dodged the swipes and smacked the stick down onto the panther's head. It shook its head in annoyance and continued to pounce at Alice. But she kept dodging. Alice was able to jab at the panther's joints weakening its stance. At a final point Alice smacked the panther straight onto its forehead killing it finally.

Calvin and Spike rush to Alice and Pip after they kill their target and heard her scream Calvin said "Alice are you and Pip ok I heard screaming are any of you hurt?" calvin looks extremely worried at her

 

[Life.]

Alice turned toward Calvin. "I'm fine but I think Pip is injured. His shoulder seems to have been stretched," Alice winced as Pip tried to move but instead sent waves of pain through his body and Alice's body.

Calvin took some bandages out and Spike stand guard as they try to help Pip Spike say "We are good right now so we have time to treat Pip Calvin take a look at Pip's shoulder "We need to pop your shoulder back into socket are you ready Pip and Alice"

 

[Life.]

Pip just moaned while Alice nodded ready for the pain.

alright he has Pip bite down on a block of wood and had Alice hold on tight to a stress ball "ok here I go" In a quick motion is he able to put pip's shoulder back in socket

 

[Life.]

Both in unison screamed through the pain. Pip managed to put a dent in the block of wood while Alice seemed to have torn a piece of the stress ball off. After a few minutes of silence Alice breathed out, "Thank...you."

"No problem you guys should not move that shoulder for awhile so stay in the back and let me and Spike take care of the enemy" he nods and Spike and he start to lead the way and said to Pip and Alice "Remember I know you want to help Pip, but if you can't beat the opponent don't engage them he will just cause pain for Alice"

 

[Life.]

Pip hissed at Calvin's advice taking offense to it. He just crawled into Alice's backpack that was hanging fron her right shoulder. Alice petted Pip to soothe him, "It's okay. C'mon let's just get going."

As they walk Spike have not sniff out any mutants out so far and calvin asked Alice "So what should we do if we do find some more people in this town up ahead?" 
(going to bed night)

 

[Life.]

{Okay and since it's just two of us perhaps we can utilize more characters. I will create another character once we reach the village. But you don't have to.}


Alice thought about the question for a moment and then answered, "Well we will see what we can do to help them and then perhaps if they really need some place to stay we can let them tag along with us. I wouldn't mind filling in all the other rooms in the empty building we are staying in." As she walked she continued to pet Pip hoping that he had calmed down inside the bag.

Calvin looked at Spike and he nods meaning they are still save for the moment "Yeah it would be to have more people in are group it will increase our survival rate and it is always fun having more people with us and it gives me the chance to try it more recipes on different people" Spike looks down and mumbles "with you cooking there won't be anymore survivors" calvin said "What did you see Spike" Spike chuckle and said "Nothing at all"

 

[Life.]

Alice just smiled as she observed the two conversing. Pip just dozed off in the bag as they walked on towards Juniver Town.


"C'mon. C'mon. Just a little bit more."


"Faye, can you help me?" A girl turned towards the large Siberian Tiger next to her. The tiger grumbled a few words but got up and stood next to the girl. "What do you need help with, Riley?" Faye asked. "I need you to knock down the barrier on the door," Riley asked. Faye got onto two legs and with an uneasy walk shoved the barrier along with the door down. "Thanks Faye!" squealed Riley. The tiny young girl hugged the large tiger.

Spike smells something and tell him he smell something strange it seem stronger than any mutant that they ever faced then he said "Calvin, Alice, Pip we need to get to higher ground now to get to look at this mutant it is not normal" Calvin nod and begin to climb and he hold out his hand to Alice and blush "H-here hold my hand you still injured and I don't want you pushing yourself"

 

[Life.]

Alice accepted Calvin's offer and tightened her grip on his hand to make sure she didn't fall. Pip just kept grumbling but soon kept quiet as he saw them traveling higher and higher. "How high do you want us up, Spike?" Alice asked. She kept her attention down to see where she was placing her feet to make sure she didn't fall into any unexpected gaps.


"Let's get inside Riley. I sense mutants everywhere," Faye grumbled. Riley nodded and climbed onto the tiger's back. Faye jumped over the broken door and began looking around the place. "Let's go higher up inside this building," Riley suggested. Faye nodded and began climbing up the steps at a fast pace.

Spike say "We need to be high enough where we can't be spotted by it but not to high for Calvin not able to get a clean shot of the creature with his sniper rifle we just need to go a little higher" calvin blushes and asked Alice "If you want me to I can carry you for the rest of the hike so you don't hurt your shoulder anymore"

 

[Life.]

Alice laughed, "No need for that! I have two working legs and one functional arm. Anyways I would be too heavy for you. I am fine. Just worry about where you are stepping." She fixed the backpack with Pip on it to make sure that it didn't accidentally slipped off.


"Is this high enough?" Faye asked as she stopped on a floor. Riley looked around and shook her head, "Nope. Let's go all the way up to the top of the building." Faye nodded and continued on. Soon they were passed all floors and were climbing up onto the roof of the building. Riley jumped down from Faye and opened the door to outside. She walked out cautiously searching for any signs of living beings. Faye followed closely behind her. "Riley get back up on me," Faye ordered. Riley nodded and clambered on top of the tiger.

Calvin thinks to himself "Dang it my one chance to look cool to her" Spike say a loud to Calvin "ha smooth lover boy" calvin say "Shut up Spike!" they made it to the top and they see a mutant I size they never seen before he about as big as a house calvin shuttered "I-it h-huge"

 

[Life.]

Alice giggled and continued on. As soon as they made it to the top to meet with a giant mutant her mouth opened into a wide O shape. Pip felt the tension rise and peeked out from the bag to see what happened and squeaked when he saw the mutant before them. Alice prepared herself by grabbing the other stick with her non-injured shoulder.


Faye looked around, "Where are you big guy? I know I sense you somewhere..."


"What are we looking for Faye?" Riley asked. "A giant mutant," Faye answered. Riley gulped in fear. "Don't worry. I will protect you," Faye answered softly. Riley nodded. Faye then looked at the building behind them. There stood the giant beast. "There!" Faye hissed. "Do you have your sword?" Faye asked. Riley nodded and took out a sword about half her height. "Are you ready?" Faye asked. Riley just nodded again. Faye jumped onto the rooftop of the building where the mutant was standing.

Spike talked "We got only two options here fight it with a rocket launcher and use a sniper or we can wait here and just hope it pass us without smelling us as a group we need to decide I pick hide because we do not have the knowledge of what this beast can do" Calvin say "I agree with Spike we should not fight something we don't know about I mean I am sure no one is crazy enough fight this thing hopefully what about you too?"

 

[Life.]

Alice nodded, "Alright. But is there any good hiding spots to where this mutant can scent us? I believe this mutant has senses ten times stronger than the average."


Riley whispered, "It doesn't notice us. Do you think we should hide and think about our attack?" Faye nodded and looked around hoping that the mutant doesn't see them. Faye spotted a pile of large crates, "Let's hide there." She slid in behind the pile. Riley peered over the top of the crates to examine the mutant. It had four large muscular legs with claws. The mutant had long ears like a bunny but the facial feature of a carnivore. Riley also saw that the creature had one long scaly tail and spikes at the end of the tail. "It seems to be a mixture of a bunny, lizard, and dog," Riley whispered to Faye, "And it seems to be about 10 feet high and perhaps 20 feet long."

Calvin spots the pile of large crates where the other survivors are hiding "Hey how about we go over there I am sure they are stuff in all those crates that will hide our scent from it" spike nod and they start to slowly hide in the pile of crates

Alice followed along slowly. She then began to hear noises from behind the crates.


Faye nodded at the description. "Okay I don't think it is that hard to handle. It seems like a dumb creature anyways," Faye said. Riley nodded.
