Summary
The Forsaken Renegade. A name that brings terror to the citizens of the Galactic Republic, and endless frustration to both the Republic and the Separatists. This is a band of people united in their resentment towards both Jedi and Sith, and their aim is to pit the Republic and Separatists against each other until they are both destroyed. The people of this group are angry and feel abandoned; not the least of which is their leader, Amras Von, who has been so elusive that he has successfully evaded capture so far.
And now, a powerful opportunity for the Forsaken Renegade to create chaos has arisen, as the Jedi have obtained the Separatist's secret plans to the Death Star, a superweapon to be built in the distant future. The Jedi have no idea what it is yet but they know it is valuable... and the Separatists, furious to have this precious data leaked, are desperate to get it back.
Amras Von, clever and insightful, fully plans to leverage this conflict to his group's advantage. If he has his way and the Republic and Separatists fall prey to his manipulation, the war will almost certainly take a turn for the worse, as battles become more frequent and violent. Amras Von must be stopped before he becomes responsible for massive and unnecessary loss of life.
~Details~
Most of the RP takes place on the planet Er'Kit, a desert planet home to several rogue groups such as smugglers and bounty hunters. Here's what all the main character groups will be doing at the start of the RP.
Amras Von and Padmé Amidala: Padmé will be on a diplomatic mission to meet with Amras Von, the leader of the Forsaken Renegades. He's telling her that he is representing Er'Kit and has found a group of people interested in forging an alliance with the Republic. Of course, this isn't true; he actually wants to get the Death Star plans from her, which she has already found, and he isn't interested in allying with the Republic at all. Padmé does not know that Amras Von is actually the Forsaken Renegades leader. This meeting between Padmé and Amras is private, until he kidnaps her and eventually Anakin will go in to rescue her.
Heiss Undulli and other Coruscant politicians: Heiss Undulli, a Separatist senator, has already warned the Senate and the Jedi Council that this diplomatic mission may be a trap, because he has been tracking the Renegades for quite some time. The other politicians will have a meeting with Heiss, as he wants to have a discussion about eliminating the Renegades, because they are a source of trouble for both the Republic and Separatists. They won't know, until informed by the Jedi, that the Jedi have been attacked by some Separatists on Er'Kit. Once this information is revealed, this will make Heiss look like a traitor. He didn't actually know the Separatists were there. It's up to you whether or not your politician character believes he is a traitor based on the evidence.
Jedi and Clones on Er'Kit: Anakin was pretty much the only one who listened to Heiss's warning about Padmé being potentially in danger, and convinced the Jedi Council to take a small group down to Er'Kit to make sure Padmé is safe. They were ambushed by a group of Separatists while trying to land on Er'Kit. Since the ambush was unexpected and the small group of Jedi and clones was unprepared to fight such a large group, the best they can do is hold their ground, try not to die, and get Anakin into that meeting with Amras and Padmé. Anakin will then confront Amras personally and try to rescue Padmé. Eventually the Jedi will team up with the Renegades if either of them are to survive against the Separatists.
Forsaken Renegades: While their leader, Amras, is busy in his private meeting, Shona (his coleader) will be regrouping with the other Renegades and trying to keep everyone under the radar from the fighting Republic and Separatists. Their group is still small and she wants to avoid the risk of any of their members getting killed. Eventually, they will join the Jedi in the fight. Any number of things could lead this to happen, such as Shona feeling threatened by the Separatists and reaching out to the Jedi, or it could be the Jedi reaching out to her and convincing her to help. It will be interesting to see how it plays out!
By the end of all this, the Renegades will have the Death Star plans and everyone will get out alive (for now). Then Amras can begin his scheme of using the Death Star plans against both the Republic and Separatists to manipulate them.
