Fandom Star Wars: Jedi Rising OOC

Okay; so I think I can do that--there will be a cost and there are going to be inherently strong repercussions--nothing is free. But I think we can totally work out how, when, and why Caedem chooses Jodo to be his disciple.
I wonder what the repercussions are-

We can work on that when it gets nearer to him being Baptized; With Caedem you work and you earn your title. ^_~

Valins Battlemaster armor

Alright so

I'm conflicted for Battle Armor and robes for Aso

This would be robes

And this battle armor

Well, m thoughts are: this a time of upheaval, turmoil, and conflict. It would make more sense for Jedi and Sith to be in "armor" rather than latex, cloth, and hemp.

Don't get me wrong, there is certainly a degree to which robes would simply be more accommodating than a hulking suit of plastoid armor or what have you.

I get your point. I might scrap the robes and keep the battle armor, not sure though

It always seems strange that the Jedi do not typically fight with combat armour, or shields. There are substances in the Star Wars universe that lightsabers cannot cut through, so it makes sense to make armour out of such materials. Even if such armour would be too expensive for armies to be equipped with, Jedi and Dark Jedi alike would have a particular interest in acquiring such equipment.

Every lightsaber fight in all the Star Wars films and shows would have ended very differently if they all wore combat armour.

Ok can I just say that in the Rise of Skywalker Palpatine used the same move he used against Windu, and again got it redirected back at him. With previous experience handling it you would think he just stops sending lightning but nope

I do find that scene suspicious. Palpatine is, supposedly, the most powerful Sith Lord to have ever existed. He killed three Jedi Masters in the first five seconds of that fight. I do wonder if Palpatine was just putting on a show, acting as though he was beaten to drive Anakin into saving him, knowing that Windu would kill him and knowing Anakin thought that he needed Palpatine. But he had to make it look real, that Palpatine really was about to die, otherwise Anakin would not have done what he did. The lightning and the very real chance of death was a gamble, one that paid off.

I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. But I just find it hard to imagine Palpatine being bested as easily as he was by Windu.

As for what happened in Rise of Skywalker, I wouldn't trust in Disney's interpretation of the characters. That's all I can say on that.
