"Commander Grissom." The officer seemed to be sweating a bit. "I understand that Director Krennic has ordered that this shipment be sent in but..."

"As I've understood, there were...complications?" Grissom was more monster than man. Stormy grey eyes and a constant frown that seemed to describe his personality perfectly. Grissom hated people with mistakes.

"We need this handled quietly..." The officer explained. "Empire Day is close and if word got out that a rebel cell was going to use a massive weapon might upset..."

"Our forces are trained for this kind of action." Grissom assured him. "They are lethal, deadly, and just as specialized."

"I see...well...I do know that Intelligence laid an operative behind enemy lines. We could contact-"

"It won't be necessary, I'll give the order directly." Grissom stood up. "My team handles these problems like a fine Naboo cuisine. Grace, subtly, and precision. The Empire just happens to find the best ingredients."

The Star Destroyer Conqueror came out of hyper-space, hovering over the planetary system of Lothal. The area had already experienced a few rebel upstarts, but after some severe pressure, it had appeared to stop.

Grissom headed over to the briefing room, where his troopers would be assembled. Today was a day to be proud. This demonstration would show first-hand how the Galactic Empire handled operations.

"You've all been chosen for your unique talents and combat skills." Grissom stated. "Our target is a shipment of highly-explosive weapons."

He gestured to the diagram. "A new super engine for the tie fighter system that if captured and not cooled, could turn into a thermo-nuclear explosion. With this being close to our new Empire Day, I'm sending out only the best of the best."

He looked around him. "You wear the armor of elites. Better than imperial troopers, better than stormtroopers. You are the weapon that I will show Imperial Intelligence. Success is critical."

He gestured to the ports. "As of now, I want our infiltrators on ground and scouting out potential information. The rest of you will be escorting them until the base is discovered. You have full immunity. Take anyone you think might be a threat and do with them as you see fit."

Grissom smiled. "All in the name of Imperial security."

Josray had been feeling a certain small bit of anxiousness and excitement. It was not the nervous kind or the scared kind, it was the kind where something big was either happening or going to happen and you are constantly anticipating it. Josray had been taking this time to prepare his equipment, making sure it was in all proper order and ready to do its job. He knew though that it was only an extension of his body and consciousness, a simple function to help do his job; the hammer to strike down the rebels.

Josray looked himself over and his equipment that was thoroughly inspected and in proper order. He looked interesting, and probably intimidating to those who he would go up against or just to people in general. He had been specifically trained to inspire fear and get the jobs that normal Stormtroopers could not handle and complete them with the utmost efficiency.

He brought himself to the briefing room, and listened carefully to what his commanding officer Grissom would have them do. Analyzing his officer he could tell that he was a man who demanded success, especially now with the chance to prove the fighting ability of the Death Squad Troopers. They would have to prove to him and the rest of the Empire, including the Rebels that they were a force to reckoned with and to be intimidated and feared, they were an elite unit, and they needed to prove that in blood.

After he finished, Josray needed to ask some questions to clarify some points. "Sir, if I may so ask... What type of information are we looking to gain? And do you require that this engine be guarded and protected?"

Serena listened intently to her orders, and asked no questions. She had none. Her job would be simple.

However, she wasn't so sure of her comrades. Not yet. Serena hasn't seen them work, so maybe they would turn out well. Hopefully.

Riku was leaning forward, intent on hearing every single word Grissom said. He was feeling a mixture of everything, happiness, excitement, and a light case of nervousness. He believed he had every right to be here, no doubt about it, and believed his brothers and sisters did too. He would be honored to see them in action on the front lines.

He didn't have any questions. You do not to question the morals or why, that's just Empire 101. And the specifics; He's just there to make sure none of his brothers and sisters get hurt by sniper fire or too many enemies. But he trusts them. With squad mates, you trust them with your life, and they do the same to you.

Hearing Josray speak, he turns around to listen to his question.

Latini listened to the briefing, but found herself barely keeping herself awake. To be fair, she never liked briefings. All that planning meant nothing in the field. Not when it was time to fight the real threat. Plans had to be made within a few seconds, maybe minutes if you were lucky.

Still, she managed to sit up straight and looked at the very least, somewhat interested.

Commander Grissom turned to Josray and nodded at his question."Information as to the location of the engine. We believe the rebels have supporters in the city. Find these supporters and use them to reveal the location. Once you find the engine, secure it at all costs. A ship should be able to pick you up once you've discovered it."

Looking up to Commander Grissom, Heln interjects when he finishes with Josray's question. "I believe my species' shapeshifting ability could prove especially valuable with these Rebel supporters. If we find one more familiar with the enemy at the objective, I could assume his or her place for the purpose of getting the drop on them."

Josray nodded, he now knew had clarification on the task at hand. He simply needed to prepare, "Aye, sir. Got it loud and clear." He then looked to Heln. "So basically, you are suggesting you shape shift into a rebel or whomever and try to get the info that way?"

"That is a possibility as well." Heln finishes. "Either way or none of the above, I still wish to prove, as do the rest of my comrades here, what I can do in service of the Empire."

Commander Grissom looked over at Heln and nodded. "Infiltration is useful, but to do that, you must not only assume their identity, you must know them."

"You must know their likes and dislikes. You must know their secrets. For a perfect infiltration of such a high-ranking member, you would need to know every aspect of them." Grissom looked over the group. "It would be easier to assume a new identity, earn their trust and know them before attacking them."

He smiled. "But just how that would be done well...I'll leave that up to you." With a click of his boots, he left the soldiers to their devices. The shuttle would be ready in an hour, leaving them with some time to say any final goodbyes or make any preparations.

Latini merely shrugged as she stood up. "And all I wanted to do was blow some stuff up."

Emily listened to the commanders orders and her comrades questions. She never liked briefings they were too boring. she needed to stretch her muscles and do something other then listen to people talk.

This was going to be just like one of her bounty hunter missions expect with a group.

Josray nodded again. "Aye, sir." He then stood up, and glared at Latni. "This job is not all about blowing shit up, we are here to do missions that no one else is capable of doing. So that means other stuff besides blowing things up. Besides, it's better to see the man die infront of you as you kill him. Give the Rebels something to fear. Anyway I am going to do final preparations, my suggestion would be to make sure your equipment is checked and properly functioning. We don't need someone's equipment to fail on the mission."

Latini merely shrugged, pulling out her blaster and giving it a quick look. "If it shoots, it works, and if it doesn't, I'm sure you can get all up close and personal, but a thermal detonator in the bag should strike enough fear in this so-called Rebellion."

She stood up. "Either way, I'm going to the shuttle."
