my plan was to have had Fokan accidentally turned Ash into a Vegetable and just keeps them around as like a feeling of guilt and kinda a pet.

But yes! Zen is not the only one delving into CIS assets. One of Bellators minions is also of such am inclination. However they havent the level if production that you have. Nor the sheer number of model variety that you are capable of making. Like Bellator, they also will be more fleet focused.
For the droid army to reach full potential. It will require both of them. To upgrade your droid army to be rather potent. Quality and quantity.
