1) i would say no, experienced myself several times just tends to slow things down to crawl in my opinion.
2) We could, get an idea of how in general things will go in Tattooine. I suppose.

here’s the plan (kinda; feel free to suggest changes)
We have 2 Sith, 1 Jedi padawan (maybe their master too?), an assassin droid, pilot/former Jedi, Mandalorian Chiss lady, a giant Jedi and an orphan.
Maybe Sith (Darth Lupercal and Darth Razarac) work together to achieve some sort of goal on Tatooine (up to the people who play the Sith)

That could work. I think it has less to do with her being a Merc, and more to do with her spying for the Chiss, or her bad dreams leading her into a situation where she meets Artem. If spy, it might tie into what the Sith and/or Jedi are doing here. If more “drawn here by the Force”, we have a little more open ended options as to why.

The real question is what the heck would the Sith want in this desolate place? I can’t think of any strategic advantages the planet might bring to the separatists.
Maybe they’re here for fun? Hunting a kryat dragon or something?

Honestly Idk, I could write in that his previous master died in a fight against a Sith which got him reassigned to Not big boy Anakin or it could be like that sort of team up that happened between Plo and Ahsoka.
