Fantasy Soul Secrets

She let out a small scream before letting out a pulse that shook the whole forest and knock the wind out of all who felt it. She stood up and rubbed her head. "Well I feel much better now." She held out her hand to the other yellow eyes,"you ok?"

Katarina stopped running. Her friends are getting hurt left and right! I look over to Ben and Lexi. I can't let these kind people die! Katarina blocked more men from coming with a wall of fire. She didn't want to do it because the fire would spread, but she feels as if she has to. Her original idea was to actually shoot fire at the S.E.P officers, but she heard Ben's request to avoid killing them.

"Someone! Please help them, I'll hold them off for now!"

Ben stood up, picking lex up gently. She seemed to have some more life in her which was a good sign. "Ok Kat! Dont hold back! Burns are okay just dont get shot." She winced, feeling warm sticky substance from her shoulder. In a kinder voice she continued. "If its alright, ill back you up. Nobody left behind. Lexi. How are you feeling. You with me?"

She felt the other Yellow's energy surge not only through the forest but it acted like a power source. Her vision finally returned and she smiled weakly at the offered hand and took it gratefully. Using her power the way she did, taking in a dead mans energy, she shuddered, sick to her soul. The other Yellow's eyes mirrored her own, Lexi was hit by the thought that her power essentially charged Lex up, imagine what they could to together?

She hugged Ben, taking care to avoid her shoulder , rather unexpectedly. "of course I am, til the end." she was still weak but determined. She saw Kat struggling with a wall of fire. "everyone we need a place to hide out, you all have families i assume, i don't, lets make a move to my place!"

Katarina winced as the wall of fire slowly died out, and she threw fire balls at the few S.E.P officers waiting behind the fire. She panicked and made a waving motion with her hands, signalling for everyone to move.

"We have to go, more are coming! We'll patch up that wound when we get to a safe spot, Ben."

Julie smelled smoke as he ran toward the bird hovering above. It hurt his heart but the forest can regrow, he kept moving. Chantal must be there or at least someone else who needed saving. Julie ran fast, avoiding the soldiers by ducking low and using the trees as coverage. While running he ran in the face of a soldier, holding his rifle right at him. With quick thinking, he stuck a stick up the barrel, which began to grow in a shape that could jam the mechanism that shot the bullet. Before the man could go yell, Julie stuck a stick up his mouth, keeping it from closing before knocking him out.

[Why wasn't i GETTING ANY NOTIFICATIONS /flips tables]

Honesty totally wasn't gone or anything, he had totally fought valiantly against the incoming S.E.P or whatever.

He was panting softly, noticing it was time to retreat, grabbing his bag, he drained himself of the water. Hearing others, he nodded counting people off and blasting away any SEP officers coming too close for comfort with water.

Ben dodged behind some overgrowth, keeping a handon Lexi to make sure in her weakened state she could react fast enough. "Im glad. So glad we are okay so far but.." she shot some poison thorned vines at them. Trying to block out the pained screams before they fell. She counted heads, hoping the others would find their way.

Lex struggled to run towards Kat, she hurriedly told her how to get to her place, "Its only a few minutes from here, there's a stall on the way crowded with people, we can lose them there."

"Alright, Lex. I'll be right behind you guys." Katarina says as she engulfs a few more people in her flames. Damn it, why do that keep coming? I think the best thing is just to get away from them. They seem to have an endless supply of soldiers so it'd be no use trying to kill them all.

Ben frowned. "The others are with Julie so they can escape if i do this... move back Kat, for one moment." She made a natural thorny wall, as high as the forest goes. Some who were in the way were all but impaled and ben felt ready to throw up at the sight of all the blood a person contains. "O-okay lets go!"

Lex hesitated, looking back on the soldiers being engulfed by the flames and then being impaled by Ben's wall. Tears pricked at her eyes. She turned away and lead their little group towards her small apartment. Before they reached the eyes of the public, Lexi took off her jacket and put it over Ben, hiding her wound so they won't look too suspicious.

Valentina nods running with them. This day stared off so nice, why did it all go wrong and could her stomach stop growling. "Is you place big enough for us all Lex?"

Katarina stood back as Ben made a thorny wall to keep us safe. She smiled gently to Ben, seeing her nauseated expression. Katarina starts running hoping the others that are with Julie are alright. Katarina just noticed her clothes and hair were still wet and suddenly, she felt them weighing her down as she ran. Why do we have to have such a hard life as souls? We're normal people, just with some special abilities.

"Thank you lexi." Ben said, trying a half smile. A tear ran down her cheek as she started running and looked back to see the possibly dead bodies in the trees. She followed close to others, afraid looking away would make them disappear

Honesty ran along with them at a fast trot, looking back for only a moment. Noticing Katarina was slower than he felt she could be, he run to her side. "Need a little help?" He asked as they were fleeing. His voice wasn't happy or calm, just.... Uneasy.

Chantal felt immensely sick, the emotions of fear and excitement overwhelming her too much for comfort. The footsteps grew louder as did the sound of her breathing, which she tried her best to conceal. She sunk further into the stump, trying to keep out of site as long as she could with the barrier still up, but who knows how long she could keep it up.

Not so far from her, she could hear other commotion but didn't dare to peak her head out to see what it was about. Instead she counted to in her head to four: One, two, three, four. Chantal brought her knees closer to her chest and just prayed for everything, and everyone, to go away.

Lex looked upon the saddened group and nodded at Valentina. "Yes, we might be a bit cramped but I've got a spare room, well more like a cupboard space , a couch that becomes a bed and of course my own, is not much guys but its what i've got. I'll replace your clothes and you can all have a shower and i've pizza, hey it can be like a sleepover right?" She smiled weakly, it wasn't much but it was her attempt at keeping up moral, if she didn't try she'd break down so she stuck to making horribly unfunny jokes just for normality.

"No, I'm fine," Katarina says to Honesty. "I'm afraid we didn't get to finish our swimming lesson." She smiles, trying to lighten up the mood. This is terrible, I don't want to have a life on the run from danger. I wish I was normal.

Ben caught onto Lexs attempts to lift spirits and smiled, letting out a hoarse chuckle bubbling behind the tear built up. "Yeah.. we could tell dumb stories and wack eachother with pillows and lord knows Valentina could probably eat."

She blushes, "I'm not even hungry." Her stomach give a loud growl. "Well maybe just a little, but it sounds fun,a sleepover, I've never been to one of those before and I've always wanted to." She give a small laugh and hopes this goes better then eden had.

Honesty let his face break into an unknowingly forced smile at her attempt to lighten the hanging hostile atmosphere. Currently, he wasn't really in the smiling mood. "Well that's too bad... Hopefully we can continue it." When we don't have a blood hunt on our heads. Of course, he didn't say that part. That would be like shooting her whole attempt down into the ground.

Lexi turned to Valentina, "Hi, i dont think I introduced myself properly, You may have guessed but my name is Lexi Saffron. Lexi/Lex or whatever you want to call me." At this point they had reached her apartment block and she began to climb up the stairs, already out of breath she huffed on until they reached her floor. Outside her door she fumbled with her keys trying to find the right one when she dropped them. Close to tears, God why must I cry over dropping these dam keys it happens all the time. Cursing herself mentally she shakily bent down to pick them up and let everyone into her empty home.

Cameron was in searching. Following closely behind Julie, they both eventually came to the soldier whom Julie dispatched of with ease. Cameron watched, letting out a small chuckle before looking about. That's when he noticed the barrier. He quickly ran toward it, puncturing one of the ends with his arm. As it broke through, he would reach to feel for any part of Chantal. Fingers were able to grasp the fabric covering the lower half of her body, and he tugged as hard as he could. The girl, undoubtedly if grabbed, would come straight out into the torso of Cameron, whom grasped her as if he was a child who lost his teddy bear.

Turning his head to Julie, he surrounded both in a psionic bubble. He used his powers to lift both into the air. Using his comm link, he spoke to Chantal directly. "I have to save the others. I can't turn my back on them." Surely enough, as soon as he came, Cameron was gone in a haze of dirt as he flew off. Dodging various trees and knocking through soldiers as he went, he searched for as long as he could. He was abusing too much of his power, and it was showing.

Eventually, failing to find the others, he would collapse. His hands kept placed onto the ground, using every last bit of strength his muscles maintained to crawl over to the closest tree. Breathing heavily, sweat began to pour down his forehead profusely. He had to make it up, into this tree... There were still soldiers about, searching. It took him all of five minutes to crawl up that tree, but he got halfway up before finding a suitable branch to rest on. With his back against the trunk, he closed his eyes. His own psionic barrier overtook his person, and he opened up a link to Chantal once more. "Maintain the barrier you've all got and get out." That was when Cameron went to sleep. Or, rather, passed out from exhaustion. Unable to uphold the barrier that surrounded the other two, he practically idled his own while theirs would begin fading away.

Ben followed in, watching the shaky lex with care, then the others to measure up the groups emotional health. At least they were all trying hard to be happy. She kept her smile and removed the jacket. "Its very cozy in here.. nice. Thank you. And for the jacket." She handed it back and looked at the apartment.
