Fantasy Soul Secrets

Katarina nods and walks into Lexi's apartment. Finally, a place where there's no danger. I look around for my backpack, where it's nowhere to be found. Damn, I must've left it at the school. My phone is in there. How is my mom holding up? She thought to herself. She looked at her surroundings.

"Nice place. What do we do now?"

Honesty immediately, when they reached the apartment, walked over to Lexi and laid a heavily hand on her shoulder. With a small arch of his back and a heavy sigh, his true smile came back to play. "Thank you... Um... Where's the washroom? I'm gonna change out this swimsuit..." His swimsuit was comfortable, to be honest, but normal clothes were more comfortable.

She smiles at Lex, "well hi I'm Valentina and your place is nice." She step in, yawning and trying to shush her stomach. She falls on to the couch and watches everyone else

Julie began to take notice of the situation. They got out out there pretty fast, he was glad their powers were quite overpowered. Honestly how were they being oppressed again? When he scanned for everyone's safety, the first thing that stuck out to him were the injured soldiers. Burnt and bleeding, he couldn't just leave them alone. He ran over to those still groaning, trying to treat their wounds with remedial plants before lifting them onto his back. Carrying all the men were a huge burden, he used some vines to relieve him of the pressure and he continue to drag them out of the forest. His eyes were driven to save these injured men. However because he's being slowed down, some soldiers began shooting at him as watched some bullets fly toward him, but he was too strained to use his powers right now.

The apartment wasnt much, the bare kitchen essentials where there, lex watched as they came into her kitchen, there was a well worn couch past the kitchen in the adjoining sitting room, as well as two beanie chairs, a small tv. on the left, there was a door into her room, on the left a door to the spare room, the bathroom was the door next to Lexis room. everyone looked exhausted. "Well, those who need clothes, follow me to my room and i'll find something for you, everyone else, make yourselves at home, shower if you want i'll out on some food then in a moment."

Katarina follows behind Lex, to go into her room for new clothes. "Hey Lexi, thanks for the hospitality." She says with a grateful smile. "Could you also tell me where the towels are?"

This apartment is very cosy, I love little places like these.

Ben looked at the touch, head suddenly heavy. She figured she should treat the hole in her arm or get some fresh clothes or even shower but nothing looked more appealing than the couch. She plopped down pulled her knees in and laid her head on them. "Lex.. your my new favorite person.. i am at your eternal service." She joked.

Honesty left for a moment to change out of his clothes, throwing any water he could use for later into a use water bottle. He didn't like going around without water, he'd be tempted to use the water from person's body and that never goes right. Slipping on his black tank top and jeans but leaving his hoodie alone, he walked out the bathroom and gently closed it, sitting on the floor stretched out lazily and dropping his bag next to him. Honesty let out a massive yawn, laying his head on his backpack.

Lexi beamed at everyone, pointing out the bathroom to Honesty, she was about to head into her room with Kat until she remembered Ben's wound. "Oh Jeez Ben! You've been shot! Ohhh God.. Ummm.. Lets see what we can do about that." She turned around again to Kat, "You can go ahead if you want and change into whatever you like, then come out here and give me a hand with Ben?" Turning back around to Ben, she was getting dizzy at this stage, she helped her up and brought her near the kitchen sink, underneath the sink is where she kept the first aid.

Valentina lifts her head. "I can help too, I'm pretty good about seeing blood and stuff and I have a basic knowledge of first aide."

Ben looked up, then back at the couch and it got further away. Why, oh right. Well, atleast they were somewhere safe. It was lucky they made it to safety before falling apart. Her head stayed low but she saw the sink and first aid supplies. oh geez. Blood. The nasty substance. She turned away and mumbled a "thanks." Glad she didnt have to look at it or touchit herself.

Katarina nodded and went into Lex's room to search for clothes. She locked the bedroom door and threw on whatever, grabbed a towel and walked out, drying my hair. Katarina walked over to Ben and Lex.

"I'll be the nurse, and you'll be the doctor!" Katarina jokingly said to Lex. Inspecting the wound, Katarina felt a little sick. She didn't really like the sight of blood, but it doesn't bother her a whole lot for her to be phased by it.

Travis was currently hidden in a tree, the leaves were covering him from any soldier. The ambush was so sudden that he was easily separated from the group. He felt a sense of familiarity when he was avoiding the S.E.P, it was like running away from any kind of law enforcement when he was caught spray painting, only deadlier.

There was definitively no way he will be able to go home at the moment, he feared that it could have been a possibility after the events of the school and it unfortunately came true. The soliders seems to have gone after the others, and he could only pray that they have managed to get away. Things seemed to have quieted down for a while, but then he kept hearing several gunshots. Somebody was still out there. He kept a close look at his surroundings will making sure to cover his eyes as much as he cou

(sorry, running on two hours of sleep here. :x )

One, two, three, four. One, two, three, four.
Chantal continued to count to herself and even though she didn't hear the footsteps anymore, she wasn't ready to peek out and check if they were actually gone. However, that was before she felt something penetrate her barrier and pull on her skirt and tugged her out with almost ease, causing her to slip out of the stump, her barrier dispersing and land on the chest of none other than Cameron. Needless to say, she was truly relieved that he had came back for her, savoring the moment of his embrace.

She noticed Julie and took heed of the voice that entered her head, before she could say anything he was gone again but before he left, she took a note of how tired he looked and knew he used up too much of his strength. Chantal looked around again, at the knocked out solider and glanced back at Julie, whom was now treating the soldiers wounds. Cameron's voiced echoed in her head again as the one he projected before was wearing out, maintain the barrier, he said but how? She wasn't experienced as him and the only bubble she could cast would to be on herself. Then she saw other soldiers shuffling about and aim their guns at Julie.

Almost instinctively, she called out to the other male, dropping her book and placed a hand towards the direction of him and establish an obstruction around him to deflect the flying bullets. She then used her other hand to direct an energy towards the soldiers who were shooting, making them stop by changing their minds on shooting.

Lex spread the aid supplies out on the table, she pulled out a stool and settled Ben onto it and took her hand smiling kindly at her. "You'll be fine darling, lets hope the know-it-all's arent boasting." She stayed by Ben's good side, giving the poor girl some support. "Um that's great you've an idea on what to do.. I'll watch and learn from over here." Lexi wasn't bad when it came to blood, she could deal well with it but she hasn't dealt with anything more serious than a grazed knee. She looked over at Honesty who seemed passed out with exhaustion, behind her was a bottle of water so she tossed it over to him, hoping to not hit him in the face. "Here! Catch! By the way, if you want to crash, take the spare room, just so we wont fall over you." she laughed a little at that before focusing back on Ben.

Julie was shocked, but almost smiling relieved. The bullets fell down right in front of him. He knew he could trust his friends to help him, but the trouble didn't end there. It was a struggle but not long after did Julie dragged the men to safety out the forest, who managed to hang on to life with Julie's patching. He quietly pants to regain some energy, grabbing his cellphone to call the ambulance as he give them the location of the school, but he didn't reveal anything else such as his identity. He slumps himself against the wall before he starts moving again, tired, he closed his eyes. The snoring commenced.

Katarina smiles gently at Ben and says, "We'll just patch it up for now. I'm not a doctor, so I'm afraid I don't know how to do things like take the bullet out," I turn to Lex. "She needs to get the bullet out, yes? Does that mean we have to bring her to the hospital after everyone rests up?"

Katarina didn't know much about treating big wounds like these.

Ben heard what Katarina said and paled. "N-no! I.. i can dig it out if its still in there just no hospital. Please." She said frantically. Then she sighed and tried to relax about it. "It isnt too bad."

Lexi was thinking their situation over in her head. Yes their friend just got shot of course they should go to the hospital, like now! But hey just escaped from a killing spree, what if there were some SEP outside the hospital. Lexi hit the table suddenly. "Wait! ben you do not have to dig that thing out of you, think about it, a bullet it metal right, I am literally a human magnet it i want to be." She looked across to Kat and Valentina, "guys what do you think? The wound isn't that deep, the bullet is the main problem. Should we chance the hospital our use our skills here?" She also voiced her concerns about the hospital. She kept her hand on Ben's the whole time.

"Nah, I'm just gonna stay here. Thanks..." Honesty muttered, his words a little slurred as he floated the bottle over to him instead of having to catch it. He took a long swig and closed it, putting it on the floor next to him.

She looks at Ben, very concerned. "No hospital? Why?" She asks her. I'm sure she will need to go to the hospital. We can't leave the bullet in there and it would be too painful to get it out herself.

Then she realized how dangerous it would be to go out in public so quickly. Katarina hits her forehead with her hand. Gah! I'm so stupid. The S.E.P is after us. She then looks at Valentina and Lexi. "Whatever you guys can do to get her bullet out and her wound stitched up, please do it."

Chantal sighed with relief, feeling a bit proud of herself for saving Julie's life. She watched him slack against the wall and fall to sleep. She knew we were ready to fight, especially a large group of enemies like this. She kept the barrier around him for good measure and tried to establish another communication link with Cameron. “Cameron, where are you?” she asked with worry. When she didn't get a reply, she looked back at Julie and used an inner energy to keep the barrier around him up as she went a look for her soul 'partner'.

If anything, she could sense him though the it was faint and weak. Cutting through the forest on foot, she avoided roots and vines, passing knocked out bodies of other authorities as she looked, following her best bet of where he could possibly be. “Come on, I know you're here,” she said to herself, not as loud.

Ben nodded. "I've dug metal out before but hospitals and I have very bad blood... I think.. if you can take it out I trust you Lexi." She said releasing her bottom lip from her tooth death grip and smiling assuredly. "Thank you for doing this.. sorry it happened. Ill be more careful next time." She said softly, thinking of how she could have prevented it. Lexi was on her and she was just thankful it didn't hit the other girl. She was so weakened she was sure it would have killed her.

When Cameron opened his eyes, he was in a strange place. It was oddly familiar, but completely unrecognizable by his own sight. The sky was a flurry of various different shades of color. There was pink, purple, yellow, green, red, orange, blue, black and even some white. It all swirled, though the colors were still separated in haphazard places while other parts blended perfectly. Covering a good portion of the backdrop was various hills in the distance, of different sizes. Some were completely covered by grass, others were overtaken with dirt. Cameron's feet were planted firmly on a cloud, which acted as the ground as opposed to what he expected to see - dirt.

He began to walk forward, the clouds disappearing into nothing as he went. Cameron didn't turn around - he was afraid to, for some reason. As if there was some giant monster lurking in the depths of his shadow, mocking his every move and waiting. Everything that he could see which was immediately in front of him was too hazy to completely make out, as if he was playing a video game in the worst quality imaginable. When he reached his hand out to various objects, he couldn't touch them. As he continued forward toward no destination, he would hear a roar which startled him. Cameron began running as a result, as fast as he could, heading for the hills which never seemed to get any closer.

Cameron's face didn't even twitch while this dream was taking place.
