Fantasy Soul Secrets

Valentina looks around her eyes bright. "I can feel another yellow eyes." She ran to the fight not really knowing what she was doing but hopping to help in anyway she could.

Ben put her hand up to tell lex she did enough. The plant grew thorns and poked and cut the man in mild ways. His eyes bulged and his head rolled back. Watching and using her gifts like this made her feel ill and queasy. "M-mildly poisonous... knocks him out for a few hours.." she mumbled, thhen saw Valentina. "Thank you so much Lex. Tina, are the others safe?"

Julie quietly moved through the woods, telling one of the birds to search for his friend and signal where they were. He wondered why they couldn't be a little organized before running off. He kept trudging along, things seemed to had die down. Either all the soldiers were gone or they were even more cautious and awaiting one of them to ambush.

"Yeah they are, but Julie went to go fight and we need to find him so he's not alone." The word were rushed and shaky as she hopped he was ok.

Lex noticed the unpleasant look on Ben's face as she saw her gifts used in such a violent way as opposed to the way they could be used. Lex felt similar, her chest was tight when she looked among the guards she had knocked out. Electricity also burned, she could see her handprint on their arms, she turned her head in disgust. On hearing the new arrival Lex automatically raised her hand, her eyes still shining until she saw t was another one of them, another friend.

Chantal wasn't having it. Cameron didn't blame her, however, he could not let any of his personal feelings get into the way of the newest task at hand. Especially considering the SEP was right on their porch, knocking at their door. Even if he did feel better with her around, some things couldn't be helped. They were all off, and Cameron had to follow. His feet lifting up off the ground, Cameron flew off after the group. As he zoomed past them, he shot right for the commander. The most heavily armored soldier, pumping out orders which echoed higher and higher the closer he came near. Cameron was able to find him so easily because he never shut his mouth, not even once for the seemingly-vital breath of air all humans needed between pauses.

He put all of his momentum into his right fist, which slammed directly into the face of the commander. His knuckles momentarily surrounded by a telekinetic construct, his fist ate away at the armor. When it pierced the metal, he unactivated his construct and allowed his knuckles to surge into the face of the man. Now, Cameron was nineteen; he wasn't a kid. He could easily produce enough power to break bone, cartilage and cause a couple of teeth to escape the commander's mouth, which is exactly what happened. The upper torso of Cameron's opponent bent back slightly, while two soldiers ran up from behind. Holding his arms behind him, they began to glow. Extending his right and keeping his entire body sideways as to reduce the size of himself as a target, Cameron lifted the body of one of the soldiers before sending him off into the distance. His other hand came around to send a telekinetic blast into the torso of the second soldier, who tumbled along the ground of the forest before smashing into a tree. In fear, the commander began shouting orders of retreat; but the rest of the men he brought were all ready down for the count. Unless...

Yup.

They began propelling themselves down into the forest by helicopter.

Cameron turned around to shout.
"GET OUT! WE HAVE TO GET OUT NOW!"

Ben nodded and placed her handsonthe ground, using root systems to feel for others. "I f-feel his-" she flinched. "More! More are coming" she grabbed their arms and sprinted to Julie. "Wehave to go now!"

Julie turned toward the vibrations that shook the forest. He ran over, it was Cameron's voice. Were they with Cameron? He was suddenly yanked by Ben all of a sudden. He was glad they were doing fine, as he sees Cameron run toward them. He took the initiative and grabbed Ben as he pulls her along, he stomped his foot as the young saplings he planted before began to quickly grow, blocking off the surge of soldiers. His face was determined to keep everyone safe.

Lex nodded at that idea, " I can send a shockwave through the air to hit the others, just as a warning. It'll convey the danger we're in, no more."

Ben felt a waveof security seeingevery one and picked up speed. "Stay close or get cut off!" She yelled shakily. "That would be a good idea, but make it quick. We'll make it too hard for themto follow."

Lex did just so, focusing she had to slow down to gather up her power. She sent the jolt through the air, alerting other souls that were within range to danger and a more painful shock to the SEP pursuing them.

Julie turned back to look at the helicopter and soldiers, glad that Lex didn't cause anymore casualties to them. He didn't want the soldiers hospitalize or dead as much as he didn't want them to be. He stopped when he saw more helicopters at the distance, did they call for reinforcement? Regardless they still had to keep moving.

Thin trees and thorned vines shot out of the ground from where her last foot print was and like a wave widened and spread around the SEP landing spot. They rose like great serpants and pulled the copters into the thorny mess securely. Never having done such a thing, it took the air out of her lungs. She tried to run faster despite this. "This was planned.. it must have been.

Chantal looked over her shoulder as the others went off to fight the arrival forces of the S.E.P. and had an urge to produce another barrier out of fear and habit. However, she remembered what Cameron told her – that she wouldn't be needing it anymore, that he was her protector. Well, he was no where to be seen so she had a choice – run or establish another barrier and just hope everything would pass.

She heard conflict not to far from her and became more nervous. Frantically, she looked around for any safe spot she could find because after all, hiding was her strong suit. Chantal noticed a hallow stump near the body of water and quickly ran to it, her book close to her chest. Putting one leg in, she looked back and made sure the close was clear before putting all of herself within the stump and built a barrier around her and the stump. Cameron's voice echoed through the woods: “We have to get out now!” and everything just went to blank within her mind.

Why was she being such a typical weakling? She could easily find her way throughout the forest and back to the comfort of her home but knowing the S.E.P., they have this place surrounded. And fight? She couldn't fight, not after what happened before. Letting out a shaky sigh, she brought her knees up and close to her. She was Chantal Wright, the smartest person she knew; so why was be acting like a complete idiot?

Her heart skipped a beat when she heard footsteps coming in close, as if it was scavenging the area. It must've been one of them though she prayed to herself it was just an animal of some sort. Then it spoke: “I know you're around here somewhere.” She held her breath.

Katarina closely followed next to Ben, making sure everyone is with us. She looked behind her and saw more helicopters, making her even more panicked than she already was. She saw that Ben used her powers to stop the helicopters and felt relieved. This was scary to Katarina, but she kept running. Her breathing soon started to waver.

"Planned, I think you're right I mean this and the unexpected eye exam, I mean maybe they knew a lot of souls were going to be at the school, maybe school's a trap." She took a breath and kept running

While moving he kept count of the others because he came to realization. He ran toward Cameron,"Chantal isn't here, I can't find her." He knew Cameron cared and he would be crucial to finding her. He ran back into the woods to search, expecting Cameron to follow back with him. It was dangerous but he didn't want any of the others to come.

Ben watched as Julie turned around, and opened a path for him not turning around. "Take somebody with you. We need tostay in groups!" She frowned deeply and nodded at tina. "I think your right."

"Another.. F***ing.. Helicopter!" Lex growled out as she turned back to look, one was lowering now. Lex had an idea and she didn't like it, she didn't like it at all. More SEP's come out and formed a large pack to search them out. With a yell of frustration lexi skidded to a stop. "Guys RUN! I'll be right behind you!" She climbed up a nearby tree quickly until she could clearly see the group of SEP's coming towards them. she steadied herself and focus, she brought her hands in front of her and sent out a shockwave strong enough to reach the SEP's. The helicopters engine died preventing take off again. Their gadgets went haywire, shocking the owners and burning up the battery, the shock was enough to give them some extra seconds while the SEP's tried to fix them. Lexi slumped, black spots appeared in her vision.

Valentina was scared and when she was scared her powers leaked. She was still running but was giving out weak electromagnetic pulses. Her power was also building up and she would have to release it soon or it would hurt her bad.

Ben didnt run without Lex. She waited and lifted the other on her back. Not heavy at all. She spoke in a calming voice, smiling. "We would not leave you Lexi."

Ben stayed down and placed both hands on the ground trying to muster up more strength. The roots lifted and the copter sunk in. The men shot and a bullet clipped her shoulder. "Ahh.. Valentina! Knock them out!" She stayed down and covered the out of commisson Lex.

She stood paralyzed before hitting a few of the men stopping their hearts. "I-I don't feel so good." She clutched her head and begin to shake the pulse much stronger now.

Ben swallowed, shakey and feeling like throwing up. They looked dead. No.. she needed to remain positive. It was okay. Breath. She smiled gently. "Let loose if you need to.. just avoid any populated areas... avoid k-killing the SEP, okay?"

Lex's vision was blurry, she could see shapes, hear hurried voice and the soft calming voice of Ben as she helped Lex along. Stumbling, one foot in front of the other relying in Ben until she heard a sharp cry pain that set her vision clear as she fell with the gentle girl that stayed with her. It.. it was too much like that night, the screams, the desperation to live and protect. A body fell near her, he was dead. no doubt about it. but his body still harboured energy, the reactions still occurring in his body. Sick to her stomach at the thought, lifting her hand towards the body, felt like she was dragging it through cement, she grasped his wrist and absorbed the leftover energy. She had to survive, she had to protect.
