Fantasy Son's and Daughters of Olympus

Fawn continued to pant, covered in sweat. She scurried away before anyone would notice, hunting down Idris; sensing she was hurt.

The minute Idris returned to the room, she stripped the last of her old shirt into a very long bandage and locked herself in the bathroom. With only the smallest cry of pain, she yanked the shard of wood out of her back, thankful for the lack of splinters all round. Stripping her tunic off, she tied it tightly around her middle, to stem the bleeding. She stuffed the now ruined tunic into her bag and changed into her extra one - a pretty red and gold one with zig-zagging patterns on it. Her hands ran down the back, flattening the bulge of the binding down a bit. She would not wince, she would not make a sound.

"Haha-Ue, how long do I have to do this?" Idris complained, when she was eight, as she sat seiza position.

"Until I tell you to stop." Her mother said, softly, giving no quarter.

"But it hurts." She whined.

"You cannot show your pain so easily, my child. You have to learn to endure, so that if you ever hold your own tea ceremony, your guests will need not spare their worry for you." She now suspected her mother had never intended for her to hold her own tea ceremony, but had guessed she would need to be able to hold her pain when she was wounded. Cruelly intelligent woman.

--

Kay laughed at her. "I'll be damned if I believe that." The boy seemed fully recovered, so he scooped Fawn up like a child and placed her on his shoulders. "Hold on." He laughed, and began lumbering back to the hotel.

Fawns eyes widened, holding on tightly to Kay; terrified her was going to drop her.

She closed her eyes, too tired to put up a struggle; falling out of consciousness.

Eva nodded without a word. She refused to let go of him at that moment and kissed his cheek. She reluctantly let go after awhile and sighed softly. "I'm just glad you're okay," she whispered softly to him.

"I am glad you're ok as well. Atleast I assume you are, you are ok right?"

He asked, placing a hand on her cheek and gently stroking it.

"I'm fine. A bit emotional right me, but fine," she said softly as she placed her hand on his. She soon calmed down and let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding in.

"Hey now"

He said, placing his forehead against hers.

"I will not go down that easily, remember I have the promise of a happy ever after ending for you to make sure comes true. I don't break my promises, especially not to you. So, please don't cry, because if you cry then I'll end up crying and my make up will smear every where."

He continued ending his sentence with a wink.

Eva couldn't help but giggle quietly at his final words. She wrapped her arms around him once again and hugged him tightly. She smiled slightly and blushed as she pressed her lips gently against his.

He gently kissed her back then pulling back from the kiss he sat starring into her eyes. He smiled then and kissed her once again before pulling back again and just holding her in his arms.

Eva blushed and laid her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes. She yawned softly smiled.

(Off to work. I'll be back in about 8 hours)

Kay looked back for a moment, grimacing at the sight of the weird hyperventilating girl and Mr. Exploding-spear making out. Fawn slumped over his back, and he knew she'd fallen unconscious. "Damn. Looks like I was right. Good thing I stopped her." When he reached the hotel, he went back to the room the girls had been talking in. It had sounded like there were others still here, so he knocked on the door uncertainly. It was pulled open by a blonde girl who looked very tired. "Uh... Delivery." He said, joking calmly. Swooping inside, he pulled Fawn off of his shoulders and placed her in a chair in the room.

--

Idris walked out of the room, looking as though not a thing had happened to her. Spotting the walkie-talkie where she had last left it, she picked it up and tried calling Demetri a second time. "Demetri, are you there? Something's happened." She kept her voice level, not wanting to alarm him.

Fawn groaned quietly as she was placed down, her eyelids fluttering slightly. She mumbled "Idris..." Under her breath: slowly returning to consciousness.

Her eyes slowly opened as she awoke, focusing immediately on Kay's face, her voice quiet, as she studied his face. "She's The girl you always refer to as Asian. She disappeared, and I need to find her, will you help me, please?"

His eyebrows raised, he hadn't noticed the strange color of her eyes before. "You stay here, I'll look for you." He snorted. "Like that you'll just end up passing out again." He stood. "Jin, watch her." The crane nodded before pecking her on the cheek once, affectionately.

She glared at Kay for his comment. "Ha, funny." She sighed, she smiled softly at Jin; having a natural gift with animals. She stroked her feathers delicately, lovingly; sending waves of affection through her, like a bond.

She hummed gently, standing to her feet; her strength returning due to the presence of an animal.

Demetri heard Idriss talk in the walkie talkie that was on his chair. He rubbed his eyes and pulled his wheelchair close to him to reach it. He stretched his arms and pulled it towards him. Now on his stomach he took a moment to remember what to do, still sleepy, and answered ''Yeah, I'm here..What's up?'' he said with a croaky voice that just hinted that he just woke up.

Even though he was made of metal, Jin took to Fawn very happily, sighing as he was stroked. "I like you." He squawked. Kay's eyebrows rose a foot. The bird didn't talk unless he really liked someone. "Feeling better?" He asked as the girl stood. He grunted a little in acknowledgment, seeing that she wasn't planning to let him search without her. "Alright then, let's go."

"We found a man dead at the docks this morning. When we went to investigate... the body had disappeared and a hydra showed up. We managed to kill it, somehow." She frowned ever so slightly in doubt. "It was... too easy. I don't know if it was a test or just to spite us. The city was also empty, devoid of everyone including tourists, and a son of Hephaestus was sent to us." There was too much information to relay in what felt like not enough space. @32sillylight32

Demetri frowned listening to her, '' Son of Hephaestus? Who is it and a Hydra in Athens? Were their any civilians? Every detail is important.'' he said a bit alarmed. It was odd and the mythological creatures were all in tamed and impressioned somehow? He immediately catches on that Kronos was behind all of this but why was the question.

She giggled beautifully as the bird spoke to her, smiling brightly at Jin. "I like you too."

She nodded at Kay, not losing her smile, walking ahead of him, opening the door. "You coming or what?" She grinned, stepping out the door.

Abby opened one eye and watched him as he spoke on the walkie talkie.

Idris took a breath and sorted her thoughts. When she spoke again it was still calm, but much slower and quieter. "Last night, after the Cyclops attack, we made it to the hotel without any other attacks. I went to scout the Acropolis and it was completely empty. Not a single human, no tourists. What was stranger was that as I went deeper in, the city began looking newer, less broken down and dusty. This morning, I was speaking to Freya, when a son of Hephaestus, a large Hawaiian man, came up to us and said he had also been told to go to the Acropolis in four days. His name is Kay. He seems trustworthy. Then Fawn came in saying she had found a bloodless, dead body in a boat at the dock, even had pictures of it, but when we went to investigate, there was no body. I don't know if the body was faked or needed for something, but it disappeared without a trace. Luke, Fawn, Freya, Jethro, Eva, Kay, and I were all there together. When we investigated the next boat over, a hydra came shooting out. It was too big to have fit in the boat and crushed it as soon as it got all the way out. No civilians came near the area and we killed the hydra. It seemed... afraid of Jethro for some reason. I don't know. A couple were wounded, but Fawn healed them. We are all alright, and one member stronger, but this is all just too easy."

--

Kay followed her coolly. "Who was the one who was asking for my help earlier?" Jin hissed at his master and bent his neck proudly, so she could use it as a cane. "Traitor." He muttered jokingly. "Yeah, course I'm coming." The two of them walked out into the hallways and down towards the general area. "Where do you think she went?"

A sharp pain flowed through Luke as he touched one of his new injuries made by the beast. A freaking hydra. Of all the creatures, they could have battled near a boat, a huge hydra..... Standing at the side of the sea, Luke placed one of his hands in the water and the other on the bite mark. His eyes started to glow a bright blue as he mumbled a cure in Atlantean. Slowly, the water climbed his arm, reaching the injury, closing it like a zipper. At the end, there was only a scar. Another scar, after numerous others.

Slowly getting up, he paced towards the place where he saw the others, before tending his injuries. Reaching the place, he slowly sat down examining the ground. He could see somehow rotten vines and dirty soil, and next to them. Standing on the ground...Freya.

''Sweetheart'' he mumbled as he approached her. She was unconcious, yet she seemed to be sleeping. Picking her up, in his strong hands he paced towards the hotel, towards the others. Passing Kay and Fawn, he gave them a bright smile then continued carying Freya. Reaching a nearby fountain with clear water, he applied the same water treatment to Freya, then sat awaiting for her awakening....

Demetri took in all of the details, analyzing all of this. ''So basically...Kronos was behind all of this. That Hydra was probably going to be sent somewhere since it was in a boat..but where? That's the question. I heard that many were called to join in greece like Will so it's probably the same with that guy Kay... '' he said thinking at the same time. ''Anyway, Glad everyone is still alive..'' he added .
