@CRiTiCAL ERR0R Appart for the about Pasecoda part, none of the plotting is linked to the sensitivity. I can erase the sensitivity part later if you want to give that spot to someone else.

@Felix Emily isn't really an elitist, she's just a little artsy, is all. 
Also she detests dancing in a way, so she most certainly wouldn't do on the regular with a partner. I could see it happening every now and again, maybe, but not like... true partners. Also if he has a reputation of black mailing others, Emily would most likely not like him as she's a very sweet, emphatic person.

@Felix, if you're eager to start plotting, that must mean you're eager to hear back about your application. Because without being accepted, you can't really plot, can you? xD
I've got a few issues with your application, unfortunately. I did mention that this rendition of the roleplay was going to be very different from the original one you were in. This means there are some things that will not fly here.
1. kings among men - I can't have the Lewis family being "almost local royalty." I hadn't defined the town very much before, but in this version, it is indeed created by a logger company and so emphasizes on the company and/or descendants from the logging company's founder. The town back in the mid-1800s would have consisted mostly of loggers and their families, so the Lewis family probably wouldn't be among them. With that being said, I can't even have the Lewis family being a strong influence in town. Not this time around.
2. sensitive or not sensitive - To be frank, I do have my eyes on the sensitive spot for someone else. Also, the heavy emphasis on witchhunt won't work this time around. And honestly, I don't really want any kind of descendant of hunters in this version. It would become useless information for what I have in store and so would become wasted material. This brings a very serious question about the foundation of your character. Without this in his background, I feel like it completely guts him.
3. no manors - No manors, just houses.
4. Oh, Mortimer - With this bit of information, this is solidifying you to something that may or may not be happening. It brings up plots that could potentially conflict with my own. And yes, I do have things mapped out. I will be giving out information instead of people free-reign building events. So this is kind of concerning to me as a GM that you're going to go off and create your own stories.
5. history's mysteries - One, I find it strange that you not a voodoo doctor in particular instead of something like a medicine man. Granted they may be similar, but they do have their differences. Two, you do realize all of these people that Mortimer is bringing into Pasecoda wouldn't be able to leave Pasecoda, right? NPCs aren't immune to this important fact. Pasecoda Community College isn't so far away from Pasecoda that he wouldn't still be living at home. Usually community colleges (in the united sates at least) don't house students. And for a small town, I imagine they would at least let him apprentice at the hospital since he would have some kind of medical background. He would have had many options other than librarian--just noting that wouldn't have been his only option.
Overall, I have to say I am not able to accept this character as a character. If anything with major tweaks, it seems more like an event character. There's too many things right off the bat that makes Morgan almost too 'more important' than other characters. I feel like there is too much emphasis on him being connected to something bigger (the plot), where I haven't even incorporated anyone's positions in the plot yet. Morgan could easily go a completely different route than what you planned because of how events play out. Guh, I'm not sure if that made sense. I'm rambling a bit. But again, I can't accept him due to his background and high emphasis on potential critical plot points that may or may not even exist. To try again, I feel, would be to create a completely new character. So if you're up for that, feel free.

I'm willing to create sort of a new character, but I will be away for a few days and I understand it if you want to have your characters before then. I'll see how far you got when I'm back. If there's no room anymore, than good luck to you all, otherwise I might see you again.
