Adding to mayhem's judgement, I noticed that your character sheet used photos of the same actor that boyguro is using for their character. Not sure if that's a big deal to CRiTiCAL, but in general, it would be strange that two characters identical in appearance are walking around the same town, and aren't identical twins.

Quick question: what do you think the paranormals in the thread are? I'm curious since the way Nik and Bobby are described is more super-power based than what we are looking for in the thread.

I assume they're just supposed to be creatures who are similar to humans but not quite, like vampires or werewolves. I wasn't really trying to go for a super-power based thing, but the fact that neither brother has much experience in the whole supernatural field means that I didn't really pinpoint on exactly what type of super-natural creature they were since they don't really know for sure.

They're nonhuman beings that are based around folklore and legends (like your examples). Usually, for paranormals, they are born to paranormals and what not. They would know what exactly is up and how to deal with it. From how things sound, your brothers come off as being superpowered more so than paranormals. I would definitely work on the bio and paranormal side of your character since Nik wouldn't be accepted into the thread as he is now.

@PlaguedWithInsanity, unfortunately I am not very interested in your character. There's a few major issues that prevents me from considering this character:


1. I want characters to be born and raised in Pasecoda-- this means I'd highly prefer their parents to be from Pasecoda as well. I am no longer accepting outsiders.


2. There's no room for models. Pasecoda is a small town, and there is absolutely no way for there to be a small modeling agency there, let alone anything people would know of.


3. Model angle-- overall, I'm not very interested with the model angel and I can't see being able to use another very personable character.


So unfortunately, I'm gonna have to say no.

Because school is starting up and I've been kind of spotty as of late (computer things and whatnot), I'm going to cut off accepting applications for the time being.


Again, I will not be accepting more applications at this point in time.

I had stated in the rules that once someone is in Pasecoda, they cannot leave Pasecoda. For any reason. And at this point, I don't want anyone from outside of Pasecoda, even if it is just a couple cities away.


Pasecoda is a very small town, closed off and isolated. They're relatively reserved in their way of life and thinking. Very humble and community based. They pride themselves on their own sustainability and being able to hold onto their roots of being founded by a logging company. They're far too small to have any kind of modeling agency or any kind of commercial advertising. So having a model here would be completely and utterly useless.


And what I mean is exactly what I stated above. I don't really see any potential in having a model in this rp. The entire concept is something I am not entirely fond of. Also, in terms of personality, I already have a few charming and personable characters. Too many more and it would be a bit redundant, in my opinion. Overall, I can't say this character would fit what I am envisioning for this roleplay. It isn't really salvageable, so that means I won't be accepting this character at all.


Due to my current schedule restraints, I had made an announcement that states I won't be accepting anymore characters. So unfortunately, even if you reapplied, I couldn't accept at this time.

Alright, I understand. Thank you for the feedback. I'll either see if I can create a different character for this roleplay, or not all, depending on what I can come up with.


When do you think you will be able to accept characters again, not to be a bother. Just an approximate amount of time would be sufficient (a week, two weeks, a month, etcetera.) so that I mayhaps create a character after making my decision.
