Aleksander
He felt a grin widening as Kat extended her pinkie finger towards him before losing himself in laughter, wrapping his own pinkie around hers. He couldn't help it, didn't know where it even stemmed from, but he couldn't stop laughing. It was childish, and comical, and something he realized that he wouldn't have changed. Finally getting a hold of himself, he took a deep breath before allowing himself to look back into her eyes, knowing they were bound to each other as the light bound to darkness. After all, shadows would not exist without light. Then, as if to remind him once again that nothing is infinite, the courtyard was flooded with light from the campus. Stifling a groan, Aleksander closed his eyes briefly before forcing himself to his feet.
"I guess all things have to come to an end eventually." He said softly, offering Kat his hand. The interruption, while annoying, was necessary, Aleksander conceded, remembering that class started in two days, and he needed to be ready. Which meant, pouring over Mora's journal and taking notes...again. Maybe, "Theories on Amplifiers" would be a good one to revisit. Either way, he had a long couple nights ahead of him, studying and hopefully, finally, breaking his summoning block. However...maybe it wouldn't be so bad, with her. He smiled at the thought.
